That’s a man who needs a raise.
Love the start of the Van. I’m an industrial engineer that has recently started painting and you’ve started your organization nicely.
Love y’all channel. I’m implementing everything I can into my process daily
i like using magnets strips to hang tools. that wood cabinet looks real nice
That is a great idea, thanks for watching Mario!
actually thank you for the valuable info you give us.
Looks great! I'd convert at least part of that side door area to pull-out deep (almost 5') drawers. That big sprayer could still fit it would just be over the top of the drawer. The more you can keep from climbing in - the better.
Put a Mustee Utilitwin laundry sink on the wall of ours (extended high ceiling so more space). Run a hose to the spigot for water and another nose on outtake we run to a storm drain on street if we can.
Super east for cleanup on the job. Easy concept but saves time for us
Weather looks great there ☉
It is now! lol
Like the side door setup.
Thanks!
I’m always moving shelves and tools around the trailer to improve organizational....
Organization is a never-ending task
In the process of kirting out a trailer first thing i did was
Raise the floor so I could store my step ladder under it
Wow, that is an awesome idea, thanks for sharing Simon!
Great Job Guys...Tim n Tina Klocker. Klockers Painting
Thanks for watching Tim!
hello friend and learned a lot from you I always look the videos I give painter for 13 years and I've seen you work and I have given some results are some tips for my work I already use the extension to spray and it is excellent thank you friend God bless you I like it the excellent order the shelves in the van. my van is in order, always everything in order is to be professional God bless you and your family and your company
Awesome, thank you for watching and supporting!
Nice work!! I did something similar with my express van. Always a work in progress...
Thanks for watching!
I saw a peg board on the roof with bungee cords sowed through it and all the small tools are on it nice and neat. I think they later it all out on the floor all the tools then put 2 straps on each tool. Knots all on the back side. Front side only loops. You also know what missing since it’s not in the loop.
That's a great idea!
Looks good can’t wait to see da finish setup
The company I worked for had a van and had wood shelves built in on one side. Separate shelves for paper box of film hand maskers, then on the lip of the shelves would hand roller frames as well as caulking guns. I wish I had a van for my diy handyman survive. Still trying to save.
Sounds like a well organized van! Thanks for watching and sharing Jeremy!
I would say that if I could put a roll out vertical standing board on either side of the walls. Close to wall leaving enough space to hang all the brushes between van wall and the board with large screw hooks. With large hooks you eliminate the risk of brushes falling on bumps. And on the side of the board you can hang rollers, maskers different tapes etc light stuff. Learning a lot from you hope I could be of any help.
Peg Board is works great for our trade. The holders need modified, but as far as the hand tools go the system is killer.
I have a 7x12 trailer that is 6'5" inside height. On the left side I have two metal tubular racks with adjustable full length shelves. These shelves hold most of my tools and supplies: drills, saws, screw boxes ect. At the nose i have two built in flat shelves for more supplies with enough room under the lower one to stack two buckets high. At the back of the trailer by the lift gate I have room for two 6ft ladders strapped vertically to the wall. I keep the bulk of my paint tools(screens, naps, roller handles, rags, brushes) in a Rigid Tools roll around tower. Big box with wheels and two baskets. It works wonders. I have one for my battery tools also. Why fight to carry in all you need in multiple buckets, totes or in your arms when you can roll it in the house. Made my life easier. Check It out on Amazon or at Home Depot(cheaper here). In the two baskets alone, it can hold two dozen naps, half a dozen roller screens, multiple roller handles big and small. In the bottom box I keep rags sanding, sanding blocks, putty, ect. It's big enough to hold a handful of light duty cloth tarps. You should definitely check them out.
you can Tek Screw friction fit broom holders to the ceiling ribs to securely hold the extension poles up out of the way
Great idea
Thanks for watching!
My brother built in wooden shelves and instead of wooden fronts he used plexi so he could see what he was reaching for. Otherwise looks like it's well on its way! Organization never ends when your hard it and always on the move!
That is a great idea, thanks for sharing Mel!
I have a thin shelf which runs half way across the ceiling of the van so I can slide my wallpapering paste table in and out without it taking up too much room
Interesting, good way to do it, thanks for sharing!
I’m painter and have alot of buckets in my van 🤣 it sucks I’m Trying to figure out how to make shelf for my cargo van to 🤣👍🏼
Either hang the buckets from hooks inside roof, or stack them upside down so the moisture will run out. 👍
Good tip, thanks for sharing!
You should check out Ron Paulk's channel. He is a master of mobile tool organization. No joke. Everyone could learn from his videos.
Put some ropes across the top from one side to the other spaced about a foot apart from front to back you wouldn't believe the amount of stuff you can lay up on those ropes...
Otherwise great job so far , it looks like it's coming along nicely !!!
Awesome tip, thanks for sharing Mark!
Any update guys would be great to see the finished product😀
Truck bed tool box might help with creativity.
Good idea! Thanks for sharing!
Update on the van! your right not much van orginization vids.. im in process of going from pick up to van for same reason.. need orginization!
Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
Cool guys!.🍺😎🤙🏼
Thanks for watching Jake!
That looks amazing,, my dads paint van is a disaster
Matt Samsak you should see my bosses
I'm going to turn my shelves to face the side door. Brilliant! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Horrible idea
A lot of Van's in the uk get broken into and tools stolen. I wouldn't be wanting to keep spray machines in a van.
You all don't put your brushes back in the brush shuck? Clean them with a wire brush and clean the handle with a sanding sponge and the last for several months.
Why and how do you painters always lose the rear door panels?
lol, I don't know
I bought my Express from a painter, and they were missing. I know ive seen a lot more missing too! Awesome Vids. thanks for sharing, I like the set up and I'm going to do both my vans this way now!
You really need to upgrade to the Promaster or Sprinter. It qualifies for Section 179 unlike that van. So much more space and no banging your head getting in and out of the van.
Awesome, we'll have to check them out!
Best time to buy is November and December when the dealer throws sick rebates to get rid of old stock.
My HVAC guys are dumping their Promasters and going back to Express vans. The Promasters are not made to last.
Nice to see you getting organized. You might want to check out Ron Paulk's youtube channel. He is a master of setting up work trucks/trailers in a super efficient way. Check his SMART trailer videos.
Awesome, thanks for sharing Mark!
I started to used the dewalt tough system boxes and they work great... I don't like to live my sprayers on the van because there's always an asshole trying to get away with your hard work
Good way to do it, thanks for watching Emmanuel!
Get rid of large water cooler takes up a lot of room
It is a must in the summer
...hydration is quite the priority....more important than the tools some would say...
A festool.... a festool what?!
I don’t know why you cover that side door? Not a good look
OK
My suggestion. Put Chris in speech class.
Good idea
...in all seriousness...great guy...on camera has been interesting to watch develop...
Lol maybe it'll be a mess
Just might
That seems like a very large container for "personal protection equipment" . At this point maybe you should consider a vasectomy.
