Damn dude! Very impressive. Lots of thought and layout went into that van. You treat your van like it's one of your tools...because it is. Unless your a tradesman, nobody understands the importance of a clean, well organized van or truck. Excellent job.
Personally I believe being organized is just as important as being a skilled craftsman. It’s well worth the time and effort to organize your tools and hardware so you know where everything is rather than constantly spending 5 minutes digging through drawers or a tool box looking for something. It also shows the customer you have your shit together and take pride in what your doing
Man, your video has me rethinking my entire layout. I have just as many tools as you have, all Festool and Milwaukee, but my layout sucks. My (very small) fleet consists of 4 Chevy Express vans, 1 Ford e350 and my daily driver, the Nissan NV 3500. I swear, you layout is insanely nice and highly functional. I'm taking off this weekend and redoing the entire thing! Thanks so much for sharing.
Hey Zack. I have the same van but I added LED lights to the ceiling. LEDs draw so little so I can leave them on overnight and the battery is fine. When I bought my van, it was already outfitted with shelving from the dealer. I cannot imagine not having step in use of my side door though. I added some running board steps to make getting in easier because my knees are shot (but I am older than you). Very nice setup!
Excellent utilization of space, I find that doing a job takes a lot less time when you're organized and work in a clean and safe environment. I particularly like the table and miter saw set up with the work counter/desk above, Well Done.
I've been working towards an adaptation of your design in my Transit 250 and have my bulkhead done, four uprights built and the pattern for my festool box shelves just finished today. I am so excited to be able to get it organized. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your machine with us!
Awesome man !... I spent my career primarily as a service plumber, I'm also more than impressed with the possibilities of having those compartments filled with ballcocks, flappers, flush valves, tank to bowl kits, and a large variety of faucet stems, with a small table vise. Just an awesome van !!
I'm strongly considering the RAM ProMaster to replace my 2006 Ford E250. I've been looking at van storage manufacturer's websites for days, finding that no one manufacturer does things the way I'd like. You've got a great setup there and have inspired me to consider doing custom shelving too. Thanks very much for posting this.
3 things: 1. Can you show how you ran power to the chargers, etc? 2. How did you set up the work table? 3. How did you build out the 6' ladder area with the levels and such?
My van is the most efficient system of organization and space optimization. meticulously designed for optimal functionality. To everyone else it looks like a turned over dumpster fire in a tornado, but to me, it is the codex to my industry.
Thanks Zack Great layout I have Bosch boxes which would be great in this kind of layout Table saw and 12" miter out side door is awsome...heavy MoFo! Great storage in bulk head I have to get busy! Thanks for showing your van
that is fantastic! I love that you purpose built it to what you knew you had to carry. I'm getting ready to outfit a Ford Transit 250 130" mid roof. I'm a bit anxious about getting it right! Thanks for sharing how you set your rig up.
Awesome setup, but my head already hurts from hitting it on those quick grips lol. Jokes aside, it is beautiful to see such a well organized van. Friend of mine has a trailer that he literally just throws stuff in there locks the door and walks away. Drives me nuts
Amazing!!! Thanks for sharing. I have a 2002 workhorse step van (just got it) I use for my plumbing heating & A/C biz. Trying to figure out how to set it up. Seems like the more space I have to work with the harder it is to figure out. Lol.
Excellent setup. I have been devoted to modular toolkits long before systainers and their emulators came to America. Regarding strict adherence to a modular approach, if I had investment in two slightly differently dimensioned systems as you do, I would have been tempted to make ALL the case openings at the same larger width (wide enough for Milwaukee), losing a little bit of total volume, but preserving 100% flexibility for future --- e.g., if I later replaced some of the Festool gear with Milwaukee equivalents. But your setup clearly accommodates your current tool inventory as compactly as possible, so I see that my fixation on total modular flexibility may represent more of a mental illness than a practical improvement. Your overall utilization of real estate close to the doors is particularly intelligent. Thanks for posting. Much food for thought.
Like the lay out good idea for the two foot square and the six foot ladder both of which I'm going to implement in my Chevy three-quarter tonne van if possible
Should move that fire extinguisher closer to the rear or side door for ease of access. Imagine having an engine Bay fire and now you not only have to run to the back of your van, but you have to crawl into the darn thing while it's burning lol. Other than that, nice setup!
Amazingly clean and effective concept. "I doff my cap to you sir". One question though:"How much did you spend on containers? Those Festool containers cost quite a bit (as all things Festool) and you've got a BUNCH! I'd love this set up but don't think my boss would want to invest that much. :-/
That van is sick👍🏽👍🏽 maybe do a little closer breakdown on your storage shelves, they looked to be made of ply? What about all that Milwaukee boxes just parts and pieces? And did I see that your miter saw stored on it side then just leveled out to stand on its own with its legs(awesome by the way)maybe show that a bit more. I’m always trying to make van cleaner and more organized and man you are on the next level for sure.
Certainly well organized, all universal shelving except for Milwaukee units is nice. I have been trying to decide between the Ram van and Ford's Transit? I have a 12' dual axel trailer that can be loaded up with most material. I'm sure you've moved the clamps so they don't bang the head by now. Good ideas, thanks!
This would be a very rare sight in a Scottish workvan, iv seen new vans and the worky can’t find his tools after 1 week, infact I would get the piss ripped out of me for havin a van with this organisation 🤪
That’s how you kit a van out!! but as said previously, in the uk 🇬🇧 that van would have to be parked in a secure place at night or it’s getting done over
Just got a new Ford Trasit 350L high roof. Got a lot of inspiration from your fit out that I will be using and adding some from other ones I have found and liked to. Love the bulk head at the front though. Did you ever have issues with weight balance of the van?
all those boxes aren"t filled with festool tools. he bought empty ones to put other equipment in it, if you look closely you can see some pictures on the boxes with what is inside it :)
This kind of organization speaks volumes to customers too. If your van looks this good, I can only imagine what your work looks like. Awesome man 👍
Damn dude! Very impressive. Lots of thought and layout went into that van. You treat your van like it's one of your tools...because it is. Unless your a tradesman, nobody understands the importance of a clean, well organized van or truck. Excellent job.
most tradesmen don't understand it either.
The table at the side door is awesome
When i see organized and clean workers like this, it is simply beautiful for the eye. Plus the guys is totally adorable!
Very nice. Really professional. You’re setting yourself apart from the guys who aren’t serious.
Nice job on the van! I have always said our work vehicles are the ultimate reflection of our quality of work. I see you agree.
And I thought I did a great job with my truck... You sir are the winner.... Great job..
Love it! With a van that organized I bet your attention to detail and work is spot on!

That is by far the best set up I’ve ever seen in a work van!!
This is the most functional van I ever seen!Amazing organization
He seems like a nice guy but just wait til an apprentice puts something back in the wrong spot
That is for sure lol

Incredibly well organised, I'm amazed how many systainers you can fit in. One of the neatest set ups I've seen.
really nice, A couple of ideas im going to steal. I really like the use of the lower portion of the bulkhead for levels and ladders.

That's incredible. Definitely another reason to buy my next van without the shelving . Great use of space man

UrvineSpiegel Awsome!!
I'll clean it out and organize it this weekend😑
It's awesome dude! I like it, it's a whole chamber with tools.
If I were a customer I would immediately take notice of how well organized you are. Awesome stuff man, I'd be proud.
Such a well thought out van
I think you already know what we think! It's freaking amazing and I want it!
Well done mate! I bet you where an awesome apprentice, still young and all over it! There are carpenters and there are CARPENTERS 👍
Thanks Zack
Great layout
I have Bosch boxes which would be great in this kind of layout
Table saw and 12" miter out side door is awsome...heavy MoFo!
Great storage in bulk head
I have to get busy!
Thanks for showing your van
I can only imagine how much the framing square rattles around. Besides that great organization!
I would think, that organised van, would impress anyone. Seeing as work vans, are normally a total mess.
Nice, that must of took alot of planning.
that is just..... well..... amazing. Now i want to buy a big van and get to work! Good job!
that is fantastic! I love that you purpose built it to what you knew you had to carry. I'm getting ready to outfit a Ford Transit 250 130" mid roof. I'm a bit anxious about getting it right! Thanks for sharing how you set your rig up.

I like my promaster. Commercial electrical work. You did a great job.
Cute & smart! I’m using these ideas for my passenger van when i travel kids.. softer material of course.. thx!
Bloody hell...that’s a work of art!
This guys van is more organized than my life you serious?
Very impressed i love the organization thats a dream work van for me you did an amazing job! I bet it has made things much smother! Well done again!
What a beautiful van. I would love to have two columns of Milwaukee part organizers.
Great setup and use of space-well done

Magnificent. Beautiful job. Looking to buy a Promaster 2500 before the end of the year.

This would be a very rare sight in a Scottish workvan, iv seen new vans and the worky can’t find his tools after 1 week, infact I would get the piss ripped out of me for havin a van with this organisation 🤪

Looks really great and inspiring!!
jealous of the Milwaukee dude!!!!!!!dude.......
Awesome setup! Any chance on a building video?
Looks great and it's a ram 🙂
This was very cool
How do you deal with the side door being blocked when in a city and someone parks in your back doors? Or is that not an issue in your area?
Excellent!
On your Milwaukee boxes...are the set in at an angle? Do you recall the angle? To prevent them from sliding out while driving?
Very nice van...cold part about it is that shit still rattles when you drive...
Whats in all tye identically sized milwaukee cases? Yoy have like 20 of them
What in the world kind of work do you do?! Sweet van!
Just got a new Ford Trasit 350L high roof. Got a lot of inspiration from your fit out that I will be using and adding some from other ones I have found and liked to. Love the bulk head at the front though. Did you ever have issues with weight balance of the van?
I’m assuming you must be some sort of trim carpenter. That’s a lot of Festool investment!
all those boxes aren"t filled with festool tools. he bought empty ones to put other equipment in it, if you look closely you can see some pictures on the boxes with what is inside it :)
@@Mike-qv3pz good eye.
