@@JustinsCollection justin: thanos uses the katana to stab tony spoiler warning
the people who havent seen infinity war: Yeah I think you tell us spoiler warning then spoil the movie
@@jacobdiz1895 mate this video was out many months after infinity war. It wouldn’t be a spoiler anymore
@@Sam-yl5tt yeah but when the video came out
@@jacobdiz1895 homie this video came out May 2019 and infinity war aired April 2018. Thats 11 months after
these should be priced at 80-$100 not 200+ lol
Fair enough
Angelo Carlo They should be priced like 50-80 tbh
Maybe it expensive because of the sculpting and painting. It look soooo good
Worthhhhh itttttttt
I agree
While the lack of weathering and chipping on the pieces does make them look a little more on the toyish side, if you think about it, canonically there wouldn't be any wear on the "accessories" that the suit could deploy because they're made of nanotech. They wouldn't experience wear since they wouldn't be out most of the time. So, in a sense it does have a reason to be that way. That being said though, it still looks a lot like that Hulkbuster V2 with the lack of...realism I guess?...because of the missing detail.
You could say the same of the suit, that is added to give it a more detailed and lifelike look. When you have limbs and weapons that don't match the body it creates an inconsistent and cheap look
@@JustinsCollection Then again, each of these were out for only a few seconds at a time before he retracted them back, whereas the suit had time to gather dirt and scratch against things. However, for the sake of the figure I do agree with you, it's definitely jarring to see the contrast between the plastic-looking pieces and the look of the armor itself.
@@azriel0768 I agree.
Mark 50 is all Nano tech. Why should it have weathering? Not sure it had weathering in the movie.
Watch the movie again.
It's not really about movie accuracy, it's about looking more like metal instead of cheap plastic; By that logic the Mark 50 was also very clean in the movie, with no battle damage whatsoever, however the hot toys figure has some light weathering which makes it look way better in my opinion. He states it all throughout the video as well, that it's more about making it look more like metal.
He has weathering even at the start when he’s on the street, it’s still metal
true, when he summons a new weapon, or an old one, its all new nanites so it wouldnt make sense if battle scars would carry on
With that in mind the armor shouldn’t have weathering too, don’t you think?
But they pack everything into the Mark 6 including gantry
Huh I think you mean MK4
They could have really thrown in that face mask in the the original figure
Agreed but it really does sell the set
Of course they could. But then who would buy the damn expensive accessory set without that epic face plate ? It’s all marketing scam my friend
Just got the MKL in the mail today, think you just saved me from spending a other $250. Great review as always mate keep it up
Nice! You'll love the figure!
Great job with the reviews as always! There are definitely a couple of cool pieces in the mix there, but nothing that I could see using with the figure long term. Except for maybe the faceplate...
The faceplate is the star of the show for me!
maybe an extra head with the face of Tony exposed and an arm and leg also exposed, would have been of this pack a true deserving of our money, great video friend.
Yes would have been great!
Somebody actually make a battle damage version of mark 50 with exposed arm, face, leg, and body. It was awesome
@@afix9027 whoa really?
@@afix9027 really? i need see to believe

Thanks for being honest ! It’s a letdown really ..
No problem!
The gold from the accessories being a lot more yellow than the Mark50 really sets it off. Such a shame
Wow yet another surprise release. I wasn't expecting this until the end of the year.
Me too!
The only piece out of this entire set that i'd want would be the battle damaged faceplate. Thanks for the honest review, won't be picking this up unless I see that one piece for a reasonable price.
No problem! I love that part!
I like the set cant wait to get my set wish we got a full helmet damaged with this set he was making those parts immediately so i can maybe see why they are clean i mean in a way it would make sense i guess
I wish we got a battle damaged chest plate
Great videos man, whenever I look for hot toys video review, I always watch your videos first. I hope you get more subs, keep it up!
Thanks ☺️
Oooh I've been waiting for this one
Its here!
I was on the fence with this and finally pulled the trigger for both the Mk50 + accessories. Saved about $250 which now makes the figure and accessory very competitive vs the new Mk7 diecast. Definitely worth to hunt for if nothing else.
Sweet!
You’re right Justin, the cost of this accessories set is not worth it, if it would have more paint detail maybe it would be, I bet the few accessories that comes with the figure are more detailed than these, even one of them has a light on feature.
This is a great an honest review!
No problem!
In love with the battle damaged helmet
Haha me too!
Thank you for continuing to make awesome vids!
No problem!
I really appreciate your input mate! After your great review I have to rethink if I’ll get it! Thanks bro!
No problem!
i've been waiting a long time for someone to review the accesories,
Yeah it’s out ☺️
Omg i freaking love this suit!!! Great review man!
Thanks
Great video! I totally agree with you on the battle damage, it is a little disappointing that we get such cheap looking flat colors, especially with such high price point
Agreed
I subscribed!
I love iron man and wish there were more weapons..
Nice!
6:16 those aren’t stabilizers, those are what he used to lock Thanos’ hand down and punched Thanos in the face for the “drop of blood”
Yep!
*Now I understand putting some* *stickers on some of those* *accessories but there are some* *that should be light- up*
Would have been nice!
Yo I'm Nick from Facebook! Definitely wouldn't be thinking about preordering the accessories rerun after watching your video, it just isn't worth the price.
By the way, the first batch of John Wick is available in HK last night , looking forward to seeing your review!
Yeah! Can’t wait to get John Wick!
That blaster bit at 9:05 goes on like that because that's what he used to punch Thanos which brought the drop of blood. It's made to recreate that specific pose. Looks weird as hell though
Yep I realised after filming, I’m sure I’ll get a bunch of comments
I just bought it and the red is so bright red, so I turned it into battle damaged pieces and i like what i did,
I think I’ll turn the mark 50 to a battle damaged figure too✨✨
Oh ok!
I personally wouldn’t want the weathering because the nanites created those pieces in a split second and they would be new and shiny. After a couple of strikes by the swords and carbon scoring from the blasters then you’d get weathering.
Some people have said this. You could say the same for the whole suit. The weathering needed to be present to match the rest of the suit. It’s not necessarily battle damage or anything like that it’s more detail that gives it a metallic look. I think it’s a must for these accessories as it is for the figures themselves.
Great Video👍🏻, Thanks for review Justin👍🏻👍🏻
No problem! And thanks!
Totally understand your frustration
Thanks ☺️
Your nitpicking of the parts not being weathered enough is hilarious lol. I had to get it though as the mark 50 feels incomplete without these cool weapons.
Lol fair enough!
Good comments all round subscribed look forward to your next video
Thanks Andrew!
The reason why its clean is because of the nano Tec but i do agreed i would like some battle damage

Also the first blaster piece you put on the figure is actually a power mallet or something like that but it’s a melee weapon
Yep, figured that out after filming this
Thanks for the review & you dare to being honest about 'worth it' or not. I never thought i would say this, but I rather buy shf accessories mk50 version rather than ht version
Thanks and I don’t blame you
The reason there’s no weathering on the weapons is because they were only deployed for a few short moments when he used them in the movie so they werent in battle long enough to get damaged.

I won't be getting this set myself :(
Thanks Andre!
Your channel is so underrated. You are one of the best toy reviewing channel here in YT. You deserved so much Subscribers.
Thanks ☺️
if the instructions say the energy sword has the longer side on top then its wrong cause he holds it with the longer side at the bottom in the movie. also the blaster is a mallet. he uses it to punch thanos in the face but it only makes him bleed.
Yep it says that
Can this set work with another Ironman armors from hot toys? like Endgame Battle Damage?
I believe so but I’ve not tried it
I don't think trying to pack all of this in the main release needed to happen, but we should've gotten more than we did. Most people aren't even sure if that forearm gun was even in the movie. If they'd have given us the damaged mask, and Katar or the shield, then I would've been perfectly happy. But as amazing as the figure itself is we got jipped with the accessories. Either that or the pack should not have been the price of a regular figure. Just for some molded plastic that some bits look pretty damn generic.
I think there should have been interchangeable battle damaged parts.
I think the weapons were not weathered because they were only created and used for a short time in the movie because they either got destroyed or got put back in his suit

It actually makes sense that there is no weathering on the pieces as when they are created, they are fresh nanotech creations and would not have damage or wear having not been used before

There are some pieces that you say need weathering but they never get damaged/old in the movie (like the Piledriver fists)
However i do i agree some of them need better painting but your criticism is kinda off
I’ve explained it a bunch of times in similar comments but TLDR is if something isn’t painted to match the Mk50 why would I put it on there and cheapen the look. It’s not weathering or battle damage it’s detail
Great review, Justin! I have built the repulsor cannon and the "lobster claw" so far for my real Mark 50 suit. Haven't built the sword or shield yet

How much does it cost and where did you get it cause I don't have the accessory's
Link in the description
Great video! Does this set work with the Mark 85?
Don’t think so
I think it would make sense for the accessories to have no withering on them because these accessories are only made through nanotech in the movie and only appear when needed to be used.

i think they're that clean because they're nano and they generated on the spot and it kinda heal itself but idk

yeah i agree . wasn't as good as i expected
arent you supposed to turn on the light on the figure hand to make the blue part of acc. looks good?
No
Yeah I see your points. Thing is I would probably pay upwards of $50-$75 for just the battle damage helmet alone, and the cost at Sideshow is about $250.
So, all the rest of the accessories for about $175. It’a still a buy for me at that price.
Thanks for the review. Some of the pieces definitely look better than others.
Yep for sure
Does the Iron Man come with the accessories set
No it doesn’t unfortunately
I just want the battle damaged mask and that's it, but then again, no other part of the suit is damaged so it might look weird. Also as you said, no light-up on any of the pieces is a big let down.
I think it works well
My guess as to why the pieces didn’t have much weathering is because they are made from the replacement nanotech bots in the suit so they would be cleaner than the suit itself since they weren’t exposed to the elements
You could say that for the whole suit. If you’re giving such a high quality paint job on the figure then the accessories should match imo
Yeah, I agree Hot Toys could have done a lot better when they painted these
awesome man. iron man is my favorite character. rip. great review. loved it
Thank you!
Is there a weapon set for the s.h one
Yep
Can u notice the difference between diecast skin of mk50 and the plastic material of the accessories while putting them together?
Not really, the figure is not fully diecast all over
Damn! That Hot Toy is amazing!
It sure is!
Pre-ordered this pack. It's nice but sadly can‘t light up
Yeah
Can you use this with the mk 85?
Some yes
I personally just love accessories for my figures but that’s just me. They should’ve had more battle damaged pieces to change out with on the figure to make up for the $200 price tag.
Fair
To be honest, I am so disappointed too, this weapon set is not up to hot toys standard since there is no light up functions, they are not diecast and the energy effect looks like SHF. Someone may say “It is already listed in the catalog when you bought it.” However, I thought hot toys was a company that kept evolving and improving their products until they were the best pieces of art. I would expect something more, something greater when the final product came out (e.g. Improvement on Hulk Buster, MK 50 Wings...). That's why I am still very dissapointed....
Fair enough
It kinda makes sense that the accessories aren't chipped as he fabricates them on the spot, however it wouldn't hurt to have a bit of wear on them.

@@JustinsCollection Yeah i agree with you on that, immaculate things do look out of place on a worn figure.
Finally it’s here
Yeah!
Thats a great specialists review....😉

Justin: WEATHERING WE NEED WEATHERING
I should probably be mad, but I find this genuinely funny 🤣
I'm glad you were honest. If I'm being honest the paint on that stuff, except for the translucent heavy blade, looked like something I would see from one of the old Power Ranger SPD figures I have. Not mention it's all plastic and nothing special like any LED features and even though I know they said it wouldn't have any LED features from the start still doesn't justify that price. Should've been included with the suit. Period. Especially for that price the suit was already at.
And while on the suit it's not like the suit had special features other than snapping on stuff and they had to change the design so things would look flush when you attached the different nano pieces but that's it. In this day and age, for the price they're asking, there should be a new system for the batteries, not a tedious task of putting little button cell batteries in and then having to take them out when they're dead to install new ones. I truly am glad I can stick with one MCU/Comic accurate Iron Man suit from Hot Toys because even though the Mk50 showed that Iron Man can step up being a true warrior and take quite a bit of punishment, HTs did a terrible job with their creation of the suit. I mean lets break it down-$406 for the figure alone & $250 for a bunch of plastic accessories that at the very least don't have any scuffing for God's sakes if anything out of that pack needed scuffing it was the katar that needed it most. Anyway altogether that's $656 and that's like buying 2 HTs figures=FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nuff said.
Fair enough. Let’s not talk about price because Sideshow are the ones inflating the prices not hot toys.
Justin's Collection sorry I didn't see this when replied to. Really?! Clearly I don't know all the ends and outs to the shipment prices. Now I'm very interested about pricing. So if they weren't inflated how much would this accessories pack really cost to you? Anything in the $100s is still too much after your review.
2:57 When was that blade in the movie?
Not sure, I’ll have to go and check
It looks cool.
It’s ok 😅
Tony was constantly creating and recreating these tools and weapons. They had no time to get weathered. Every time he used them they were "brand new" that's why they don't have weathering and the body parts (hands and faceplate) do
Some people have said this. You could say the same for the whole suit. The weathering needed to be present to match the rest of the suit. It’s not necessarily battle damage or anything like that it’s more detail that gives it a metallic look. I think it’s a must for these accessories as it is for the figures themselves.
justin is like kilo ren when it comes to weathering: MORE
LOL
Great review Justin! Are all the accessories diecast?
I wish they were!
Wheres the deployed floating repulsor when battling cull obsidian
Also the back up flight systems on the back
The flight stablizers are including with mark 50
Yep they are
It makes sense that the extra bits aren’t battle damaged. remember that they come out of his suit as nanotech and the nanites are new.
Still keep up the good work mate!
Davis Woodruff that’s what I’m tryna say

Watch the movie. Objectively incorrect. Subjectively, if you're going to charge that much for accessories, tiny amounts of paint and weathering go a long way. HT knows this and this set is just a shameless cash grab
Justin's Collection that’s true, at least for a collector, if they are going to stick to a certain design, they should keep it
They didn't weather them because when tony first pulls his accessories in the movie, they come out perfectly clean. But yeah the accessories look very cheap especially the blue parts. It'd be a good idea to have them translucent though
Agreed
Wouldn’t there not be any weathering on the nano tech weapons? Since they are just materializing from the nano tech and aren’t there all the time to get weathered like the rest of the armor?

Justin's Collection very true, I agree it really cheapens the look when it’s not weathered. Thanks for the reply I’m a new fan and have been binging your reviews, keep the awesome work! Just pre ordered my first hot toy ever John wick
Justin's Collection also do you think if the mark 50 suit itself had zero weathering (besides the battle damage) it would take away from the overall look? Or do you feel like the weathering is essential for these figures?
I think it would yeah ☺️
Amazing wow 😮
Thanks!
The nice thing it's to know 3rd Party also release accesory Set with differents things
Yeah!
I like the amount of accessories you get with the Iron Man Mk 50, but I am underwhelmed at how many of the larger pieces don't light up. For the price point of this set the larger pieces could easily house batteries to light up the individual parts. The shield, the battering ram arms, the cannon that goes onto the arm, the larger sword that goes onto the arm and last but not least the leg boosters should of all had lights installed to co-inside with the figure. Everything looks like it was produced separately and does not look like it is part of a full set. The price point alone you would expect Hot Toys to of engineered the lighting into these accessories.
I was eager to get one of these sets, but now I would just use the money to help purchase the Pepper Potts Rescue Armor. I am content to just go out to buy the Bandai SH Figuarts Iron Man Mk 50 Nano Weapon Set.
I will wait and see if there is a better option to customize the Hot Toys Nano Weapon Set on the second hand market. I am just not satisfied with what you get in this set.
Thanks for the preview Justin.
Cheers!
No problem! I’m glad I could help!
The energy blade is my fav
It’s ok
Does these work with the mk85?
Some will
At first I thought that the weathering wasn't a big deal since it's nanotech, so I can kindo understand why they would do that... if it wasn't $200+ and I can only imagine how much it sticks out due to the lack of weathering, as much as I love slick and shiny parts, the weathering would have been a nice tough to give the set and the figure some cohesion.
Yeah I absolutely agree
Drinking game: take a shot every time Justin says "I don't think"
Lol
(Before watching the video) I wonder if this accessory set will work with the endgame suit
Don’t think so
Ok I’m buying dis
Go for it
Does this set fit on Mark 85??
Some parts yes
This set is great ;)
Fair enough
I feel like it’s not weathered because when it comes out the suit it’s brand new? These pieces are constantly being created and put away by the suit quickly so they wouldn’t look weathered often...
Parts like the hands and the mask are constantly out so they get weathered and scraped up
Some people have said this. You could say the same for the whole suit. The weathering needed to be present to match the rest of the suit. It’s not necessarily battle damage or anything like that it’s more detail that gives it a metallic look. I think it’s a must for these accessories as it is for the figures themselves.

Yep I realised that after filming this

I wasn’t aware this was released so soon! I must snag my own! Thanks for the update and review! Much appreciated!
No problem!
The amount it would cost me to get this in the uk with the faceplate (which is like you said the main reason) is so expensive it's not even funny, add to that the cheaper looking paint job i opted to preorder the mark 85 instead and just keep the mark 50 as it is
