For those that are salty about the reissue, I bought my Mk 47 in Dec for $1200, and I am 100% happy about the reissue. Always nice to welcome new collectors to the hobby who missed out. I benefitted from the reissue/updated Mk 43 & Hulkbuster. In the long run, a reissue won't eliminate appreciation IMO, if investment is a key issue for you. These are toys after all, here for our enjoyment.

1200 whoa i payed 1000 no lie i mean it is what it is i have not overpayed for anything else and i got a few deals on others so it evened itself out so its the nature of this hobby
You make a lot of sense. You're not sitting up here whining because you paid $1200 for this, I respect that. Because of the re-issues I was able to get this and the Hulkbuster, I missed out on both myself a few years ago. They will both eventually go back up in price again after they're sold out at retail.

People who paid $1200 for it should get over it, no one made them do it. You should buy things because you like them, not because you want them to be worth something so you can flip it.
My only issue with this is HT preorders are now reaching two years out, less time should be spent on things like this.
This suit is the repaired verson of civil war suit , that's why the suit has silver because he didn't had a time to paint that

I absolutely love the design of this suit. It screams “Ultimate Iron Man” to me (my favorite comic version). This was also one of the first hot toys Iron Man figures I ever picked up. Thank you Justin for being the guiding light for Hot Toys figure reviews.
It’s awesome!
It would be awesome to get a bona fide Ultimates armour figure. Or even a statue. I wasn't super into Ultimates, but that's my favourite armor of all of them. This one definitely has the colours down, but it lacks the proportions which is a huge reason I love the Ultimates armour.
This is kind of unrelated, but I have mixed feelings about the ultimate Iron Man suit, I like it’s color scheme but in some places I feel like it’s a bit too bulky and kind of looks more like a hulkbuster Iron Man suit and don’t even get me started on the helmet, I think it’s a good too. Don’t get me wrong, but it’s not perfect at all.
I guess it’s just style preference, I love the ultimate suit for the same reasons you dislike it

Just ordered this as my first and maybe only Iron Man figure. Took a long time to decide between MK47 MK7 and 1/4 MK3. This one reminds me the most of MK2 which is my all time favorite armor. Thanks to your channel for helping me decide!

My buddy introduced me to Hot Toys years ago and I got my first one 7 months ago! My buddy then gave me his Vader and I just bought three more (iron man XLIII, Spidey upgrade suit, & original iron spider) love these and the community!

I’ve been collecting Hot Toys for 4 years and this is the only figure I wanted that I missed out on. I was saving up to get him from eBay and then they re-release him. I feel so lucky!

The MK 47 armour looks outstanding Justin! I love the shiny silver, cherry red and the bright gold. I can see a subtle height difference between the original and the new one. The new one seems to be a little shorter.

I am not even a fan of Spider-man at all and I still pre-ordered this. Another words I could care less that this particular suit is from a Spider-Man movie.

On my opinion I feel like the paint is heavier than the old one, that might the explanation for the 3 grams diff, if you look properly, the paint is a little more dull on the original and the new one has brighter and more of an eye catching glow

I have the Mark 7, 50 and this new 47. If I had to have only one - it would be the 7 because it looks so classic. But my favorite is the 47. It’s so sleek.

I have the original release and I had no clue that people didn't really want the figure at the beginning. I pre-ordered the original release after seeing Spider-Man Homecoming lol. The one suit I do want Hot Toys to re-release would be Diecast Mark V

I remember when this was originally announced in 2017 everyone was still waiting for their Mark46 preorder to fulfill including me. It was a easy skip since it was mostly a repaint and the character just played a supporting role. Also demand for hot toys in general wasn’t nearly as high as it is today. It resulted in a such a low supply phenomenon that is unlikely to happen again for a figure released post 2017.

I don't know which franchise to start with, I want to get the MCU avengers, iron Man/Spider-man hall of amours and the the main hero's and villains from Star Wars. Plus the clones and stormtroopers.
I Mostly want to collect the hot toys or 1/6 figure scale and some statue's for both series's. And eventually get to repilac props.
But they are really expensive but a good price for what you get. I might just have to settle with the black series and marvel legends/game verses, they are still pretty good and more in my price range. And I could still get 1 or 2 replicas from each.
