      Awww thanks so much man, really I appreciate your kind words and lovely compliments. I'm so lucky to be in a position where I can make this type of content for people to learn from & enjoy, and the fact that you have fun watching them despite not owning some of the figures means so much to me. It's positive feedback like yours that fuels & inspires me to keep going, so from the bottom of my heart, thanks SO much! ❤️🙏

    Another great video! I hadn't seen this Iron Man figure and have to say the mechanics are so impressive. The design and engineering is awesome and you can see that it allows for some great poses. Thanks again Peter for good insight and safety points when posing...as a new collector this is giving me thought that i wouldnt of had towards keeping my collection pristine while enjoying their capability. 👌

      Haha I see you binge-watched a few of my videos! I’m truly grateful for you putting in time to do so, and again I’m really glad to know that as a newer collector you find these videos and tips insightful. I made this video back in 2019 so it brings a huge smile to my face knowing that fellow collectors can still learn from & enjoy my content years later, so from the bottom of my heart thanks so much! 😊🙏
      Oh and to briefly answer your question from my other video, I don’t know exactly how many figures I have but my favorite is undoubtedly the battle damaged Terminator 2 DX13 😁

      Thanks so much for watching & commenting! Yeah surprisingly the Mk50 and Mk85 are engineered almost identically so you can take what you learned from here and apply it to your Mk85 when it arrives... soon I hope? 😅

    Peter the posing master! Here is a name for your community: Posing with Peter's Padawan's :)
    I appreciate these videos! I have been watching them all to get good ideas on how to pose all my figures, even if I do not own the figure. I think that this knowledge can apply to other figures. Great videos! Now I want an Iron Man figure. Your poses look amazing!

      @PosingwithPeter  3 роки тому +1

      HAHAHAH PwP Padawans lmaoooo -- this might be a bit of an over-share but I was brushing my teeth when I read your comment and damn near choked on my toothpaste 😂🤣
      Jokes aside, I'm so grateful and honored that you find my content enjoyable & helpful enough to watch & learn from, especially for the figures that you don't even own. Indeed I've been so fortunate to receive positive feedback / direct messages from people who don't even collect 1/6 figures but still took what they learned from my videos and applied it to their other brands & smaller scale figures.
      As always, I really appreciate your continued support throughout this journey! ❤️🙏

      Ayyy congrats on picking up the Mk50! Pretty sweet figure eh? And yeah the accessory pack is pretty fun but can be pricey especially since the paint app isn't that spectacular -- they're worth the pick up if you can find them cheap 😅
      Anywho thanks for watching & for sharing your positive feedback!

      Nice! Congrats on your first Iron Man Hot Toy 🤩🙌 The Mk50 truly is a special armor not only because of how well it was engineered but also how truly awesome & iconic it was in Infinity War. I’m really glad this video helped give ya the extra boost to pose the figure, comments like yours here definitely put a huge smile on my face so thanks for watching & sharing your positive feedback 🙏 Happy collecting!

      @@PosingwithPeter so sorry I hadn’t managed to reply to you dude, yeah man inspiring stuff and it showed me these figures can be posed and enjoyed as action figures. I understand why some may be not so keen to risk damage or something because this thing is glorious I feel very privileged to have this as my first hot toy and my first Iron Man.
      I’ve actually watched it again today which is when I saw the reply. I feel like I’ve pushed my limits beyond what I thought possible with posing so it bears saying again, Thankyou for taking the time to make these videos. I hope they are as fun to make as they are to watch.
      Silly but I was hoping to be able to show you what you have inspired me to try, so I joined six scale network a few days ago and if it’s cool I’d like to tag you in my post when I make it?. And of course any pointers or advice would be epic. I’m having so much fun with this figure man hopefully one day I can get a warmachine to display with him, but if not Ile be content because it is magnificent on its own.

    This video exemplifies my main issue with the idea of 1/6 scale highly detailed figures. They look amazing, but they seem like a hassle to pose, having to take such care not to damage it, and in some case the articulation seems a bit lacking. But that's why I stick with 1/12 collecting, preferring the durability and range of movement from the smaller, all plastic figures, my favorite line being amazing yamaguchi. But your videos are a fascinating look into the other side, and have acyually helped me to understand the appeal.

    • @PosingwithPeter
      @PosingwithPeter  3 роки тому

      Ah yeah, you bring up very valid concerns. One of the biggest challenges / obstacles of collecting these expensive sixth scale figures is dialing in a pose without potentially damaging it in the process. Indeed smaller scale figures are way more fun to pose since they tend to be more durable and less expensive (hence more courageous risks are taken). Alas, there's truly something special about these incredibly detailed 1/6th figures that makes all careful precautious totally worth it, and I'm really glad that my videos help spread the awareness of the appeal to fellow collectors of all scales. Thanks so much for watching and for sharing your feedback!

    • @PosingwithPeter
      @PosingwithPeter  Рік тому

      Haha yeah that was a pretty common request especially when Mk85 originally released - but it’s engineered very similarly to the Mk50 so I didn’t think I’d be able to add much value with another armor tutorial 😅
      Thanks so much for your support though!

      I’d love to feature Mk85 in some kind of posing video in the future, but it’s engineered very similar to the Mk50 which I already have a video for. Maybe in a future livestream! Do you have the Mk85? And if so, clean or battle damaged?

    Which Is your favorite Armor of the ones you own? I love this Mark 50 but I think 85 AND 47 are my favorites, I need a die cast Iron Man AND really can't decide

    • @PosingwithPeter
      @PosingwithPeter  3 роки тому

      I currently have Mk6, Mk43, Mk50, and Mk85. Out of those, my favorite remains my first Iron Man figure, the Mk6. I really dig the beefier tank-like aesthetic, along with the triangular arc-reactor. Plus he was pretty awesome in that suit of armor in Iron Man 2 & Avengers 1.
      That is quite the predicament you're in -- the Mk47 / 50 / 85 are all great armors in their own right!

    I bought a second hand HT Mark 50 with accessories, at first glance I didn’t see any problem with it and bought it for $357 USD, but when I got home and opened it, I notice the left should pad is not closely placed next to the chest, I mean there is a small gap there and I tried to push it a little bit harder but the small gap is still there. I need your expertise on this, is the small gap a big issue aesthetic wise?

    • @PosingwithPeter
      @PosingwithPeter  2 роки тому +1

      Congrats on acquiring the Mk50! Truly beautiful armor 😁
      Sorry to hear about the gap at the left shoulder pad, that’s a bummer. It’s hard to determine if it’s an aesthetic issue without seeing how big the gap is - the shoulder pads are spring-loaded so it’s possible that the spring in the left pad might have stretched or worn out if the original owner kept the left arm in a repulsor-blast pose long term (just speculation).
      Coming to terms with minor defects on our figures is always a tough situation because they’re very easy to spot up close, but sometimes those defects kinda disappear once the figure is placed on the shelf and is seen from a normal viewing-distance.
