Got this and Mark 7 as my first Threezero figures. They're absolutely mindblowing pieces! I was so shocked how good the paint, details, etc, are. I mainly collect 1/6th figures and Hot Toys' Iron Men, and I can 100% see why people call these mini Hot Toys. Even though the scale is smaller, they fit in extremely well with HT Iron Men, because the paint quality and details match up perfectly. I don't mind the lack of surface detail, like scratches, etc, myself. I dig the factory fresh-look. They also announced MK 85, which has me really stoked.
Super excited to get this figure. The only thing I worry about is potentially chipping the paint on the chest plate. I would have liked to see some articulated pieces like the mk43, but I understand how that would be hard with the articulation and sculpt in that area. Still looks amazing, and I can't wait to have it in hand, and next to my mk43

The lack of paint chipping and weathering kind of make sense for this suit since the nano tech will just repair any of those minor damages as soon as they appear. It isn’t until he starts taking on big hits from thanos that he starts running out of nano particles and we start seeing damages to the suit.
That comment was all over my hot toys review too. I’m not asking for battle damage, just surface detail. Even the CGI model had a surface pass of weathering to make it look real and believable
Funny thing is I didn’t care for this suit on screen as it was too sleek. But as a figure I love it because the figure brings back pieces such as shoulder pads and segmented armor.

Hey Justin, I'm from Australia as well and bought the batteries for my figure from Jaycar. They are called AG1 or relevant type of battery and I'm pretty sure there are other stores that sell them aswell.
Hey Justin! I want to ask 2 Questions! 1) How exactly are the Batteries Installed on Chest and Head? 2) Is the Neck on a Ball Joint? Can the Neck be Removed? Because I already bought a Manipple Flashback Tony Stark Head (used for Mark 43), I hope that I can use the Head on this Version also.
I love the color shades,head,material but the body also they have a great paint job and scale but it’s not smooth,and they should have more light.For me the Fantascraft look much better. I’m a big fan of Threezero especially Ironman but this make me think it’s not good enough
I would’ve like to have seen this compared to the ZD Toys Mark 50. I know this ThreeZero is much higher quality, more of a curiosity thing. My ZD Toys has a bright red paint job and I’m not sure if it differs from this much and if so which one of these is more screen accurate

Looks like they’ve done a much better job than ZD with the gaps in the shoulder armour. Though I wonder if it could be even better if they put the shoulder armours on ball joints to allow for a greater range of motion to cover up the gap in action poses

Aesthetics is totally off. The Mark 50 is supposed to be nanotech and fit over Stark like a sleek set of clothes. This is full of gaps all over and heavily plated like one of his earlier armors. If people want an inaccurate looking alternative Mark 50 then get this by all means.
@@JustinsCollection Looking great and looking accurate are 2 different things. I agree that it looks premium and "great". But looking great is subjective, and looking inaccurate is objective. This figure with so many segmentation, gaps, and stuff sticking out when posing is objectively inaccurate looking. The most accurate it looks is when it's standing static. I understand they chose to engineer it this way to give it more articulation than other figures but they sacrificed the essence, the sleekness of Mark 50 to do it. That's why I said "If people want an inaccurate looking alternative Mark 50 then get this by all means."
@@ted7728 The Threezero version of Mark 46? Yes, it's very good. Even though the suit was made of nanites as well, the overall design was still blocky and robotic. So there was no trouble translating it to toy form. I'd have preferred the shoulder pauldrons on Mark 46 to be bigger to give him more of a superhero look and also match the looks of the movie. Threezero seems to like to do smaller shoulders for some reason. Even on this Mark 50, the shoulder part should be a little bigger and we should be able to see much less silver under the red. Look up Queen Studio Mark 50 1:2 scale statue to see the clear difference in the shoulder part and sleekness when compared to this toy. I know ZD toys Mark 50 is inferior in quality and engineering, but the one thing they got right was to make the shoulder part big and also move with the arm in various poses, so that it looks like it's part of the arm. Instead of this Threezero version where you lift the arms and the shoulders will pop out like it's armor separate from the arms. NO, the Mark 50 is sleek and body conforming, each part looks like the muscles of one's own body. Watch the fight between Tony and Thanos. No parts juts out when he moves, unlike on this figure.

Having it sticking out in action poses looks ridiculous. Does your muscle pop out on the side of your arm when you move? No. All that money into this fig and they can't even engineer it right.

I'm never satisfied with an iron man figure. Only from fantascraft. I sold all my threezeros. The shoulder pad gimmick is just annoying, and the whole point of an iron man figure is to have the outside metal, not the inside. Other than that, I really cannot argue with thier engineering. I just wish that the leg flaps weren't forgotten about with this line. And I also wish it came with more accessories. Mark 50 gets away with t because you typically have to buy an accessory set with this specific armor for any brand. Other than that, well done three Zero, I just would have done things differently. Who likes to worry about parts that pop off easy? No one.
They pop off easily but they don't break. This is the way to go. Their pieces pop off easily because it's a safety measure. Also their material is so study in the outside that I don't even know if it isn't metal, because it really looks like. I really don't understand the problem about their material. Also, those are way better than HT imo
Having a hard time choosing what to get. I'm choosing between the ThreeZero one or the ZD one. The problem with ThreeZero is that it's expensive, especially when buying the figure and its accessories pack. Now, the ZD one is great and really awesome, but there is a small problem, its nano large shield is kinda weird because its back is only painted in plain red and it doesn't have much details like what is in the movie like its translucent blue-like glass on top of its shield. But overall, the ZD one is an awesome figure. So yea, which figure do u think I should get? Haha, just having a hard time choosing because I am paying so much attention to the details of every figure. Hahaha, I should probably go to the hospital for my perfectionism issues😅

The instructions tell you, I couldn’t do it on mine because I couldn’t get the batteries. As for the second one I’m not sure!
