Thanks for the tutorial! Just wanna know. Ignoring the parapet, what are the advantages of going thru this process compared to just using the pictures on the planes? It looks almost identical.

Great question! This method gives the buildings texture so if you are to see them at an angle in a render they would have relief, or if you are using sunlight then they would cast a shadow.
