Having the right modeling workflow in Rhino with precise tips and tricks is extremely important if you’re aiming to model fast and efficient. In this tutorial, we’re featuring the work of Alex Nerovnya and showcasing how to model the exterior of York house proposal. We’re using basic Rhino modeling techniques, but we’re also going to see some of the ways that SubD modeling tools can be used to create terrain as well.

I was looking all over the internet for a simple introductory tutorial that get's started quickly without a lot of talking, I have been trying to switch from Sketchup to Rhino, thanks a lot!
You're welcome ;)
At 21:25 can you tell me how to keep the constraint when drawing line? Thanks^^
Can you make a tutorial on how to do the rendering like you have at the end? thanks and great video!
Hey there! Thanks, glad you liked it! About the rendering, we're going to cover this in the upcoming How to Rhino Masterclass, make sure to get on our email list and you'll get notified when this takes place. You can get on How to Rhino email list by signing up here for our free grasshopper guide :) howtorhino.com/grasshopper-guide
@@HowtoRhino oh okay i am already enrolled to the email subscription thanks!
@@bdeconcept383 You're welcome :D
Very good tutorial as usual, If you could be so kind and tell me if there is any alternatives to the subD or T-Spline thing. Sry i am not so advanced in rhino so idk if there is difference between them. I know rhino does not have it anymore but u did use it in one of ur videos (subD) where u said it was a beta feature for rhino 7. Can u suggest any alternatives for that? Please and thank you :)
Like a plugin or some other way were you can control the points yo get smooth surfaces
Here is the video of what i am talking about. Starts from 3:18 - 5:00

@@ahmadkhaled28 Hey Ahmad. To be honest, in my opinion there is no better "alternative" than subD at the moment. What you're seing in that video at 3:18 is exactly subD tools and they are currently available at Rhino WIP version. If you have Rhino 6 license you can use this version and it works extremely well at the moment! You can try with other plugins like Clayoo, but I found it very unstable and crashes all the time. Go for SubD, you're gonna love it when you play around with it a bit :)
What about the Rendering shown at the beginning of the video? all the internet channels are filled up with Rhino simple 3d modellings without render!
The tutorial is about modeling, not rendeing :) If you're searching for rendering, type that into youtube search and you'll get what you're looking for :)
Great
Thanks!
Will be VERY useful if Rhino will add some basic Push-Pull tools a la SketchUp and Moi3D! Rhino is a great modelling tool, but some Push-Pull tools will make all the architectural modelling stuff much easier.
I need to enlighten you :D Rhino has push and pull. You just need to select a certain face and click on the gumball (dot) arrow and pull it up :D
@@HowtoRhino No way! In Sketchup you can draw a shape using the pen tool on top of a face and pull-it. In Rhino it's plain impossible to do that!
@@Tokamak_9 that's right, you can do the same thing in Rhino, but it would take a couple of more commands :)
How to Rhino: This is push-pull in Sketchup: ua-cam.com/video/8ZCES5BOvsA/v-deo.html
@@Tokamak_9 Yes, I know what push-pull is in Sketchup. You can do the same thing in Rhino but with a small step in-between. I"ll record a video for you to show you this and I"ll post it here in the comments.
Rhino is much easier than 3ds max hahahahaha oh godddd
Yes! Surely is :D
