Hey bestie. All i can say is: THANK. YOU. that sub object selection took is truly going to change my workflow in ways I probably cant even comprehend rn. (Also the bonus tip is less of a tip and more of a tool but hey, thats me being THAT guy)

Rhino 8's big new feature allows you to do more detailed Sketchup actions like 0:33 with AutoCplane (allowing you to draw curves directly onto subobject-selected surfaces) and PushPull command (being able to directly push-pull the closed curve drawn on the surface, without having to wirecut). If you own any version of Rhino you're eligible to use the Rhino 8 WIP!

For TIP 6, another way to quickly identify which layer the item you have selected is in, is by simply looking at the bottom row of the interface to the left of the word "Grid Snap". You'll see a coloured square with the name of the layer next to it. See how the words change at 4:02 when the curve is selected.
You can even change the layer you want the item to go to by simply clicking on that tab which will show you the list of all the layers. From there you can reassign the selected item to another layer. e.g. from Default to Door.
    Hope that makes sense.

Heyyy Christopher! Great video! You keep adding more elements and styles in your video, makes it so rich, can't image the efforts put into it, keep it up!
I just had my second semester result out and I topped in it with 3.97 / 4.00 GPA! Due credit goes to you for your rhino camera tutorial that I used in my presentation.
As for my channel, I have my material ready to record and explain, but feeling super lazy :( Hopefully I push myself to do it soon, would love to know what do you do in such a situation.
Thank you again for your videos and hope you have a lovely week 😀

Hey Asim! Thanks again for your support 😁👍👍 congrats on finishing up your second semester and that is a 4.00 in my books, I don’t care what anyone says!
I would go ahead and do a little editing to the point where your material makes sense and is helpful. Then post it! It does take quite a bit of time. I honestly put in at least 25-30 hours a week into UA-cam. I also don’t have content that is aimed at gaining as many subscribers as possible. I’m just finding problems I have, and solving them for other people! All that is to say, work hard at it, edit it, post it, and don’t think twice! People end up being extremely supportive and half the time they also have helpful advice! Let me know if you need any help 😁

Hehe thank you man very nice of you! 😊
I see, 25-30 hours! Wow great dedication! That is very altruistic of you. This is very motivating to know! Thank you so much Christopher for your responses and advices! Very grateful 😊 Hopefully I'll get into it soon.

You can save a lot more time with the aliases if you make them in a way that you can type them with only your left hand without it moving from the left side of the keyboard. The example of PS for planarsrf is bad cuz you either have to let go of the mouse or move your hand away from ctrl/shift/esc/alt/space

What is a “gumball tool?” I think this tutorial is too advanced for me. I had trouble just starting the program. A bunch of toolbars opened up and floating around, about I don’t know what they are for or if I need them - I just closed them.
