Good morning Neil and Ant another new one for us. We loved the windowed ceiling in the hall staircase the light coming through was wonderful. So many lovely paintings here in such a wonderful setting. I must say your cream tea looked delicious made my corn flakes seem a little plain this morning, and how lovely to enjoy it outside in the lovely sunshine. Hope you have a lovely day Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
@inbetween-days Good morning Dave and Dawn! Thanks Guys pleased you enjoyed it... it's a real gem of a house... apparently they still have much of the upper floor furnishings in store we'd love to have seen some of the bedrooms too! We had to use the dreaded M6 on the way, oh dear 😳 was worth it though... We never need much persuading for a cream tea and those scones were delicious 😋 Enjoy the rest of your week all the best from us both 😀

Just as you think you have seen all the outstanding stately homes and gardens in Britain you get to see another beautiful one you have never heard of before!
@kaloarepo288 Hi! Thankyou for watching and commenting! Pleased you enjoyed seeing Tabley ... it is a unique time capsule with its contents and very beautiful they are too! Best wishes from us both 😊
Wonderful! Tabley House is beautiful! It is not ostentatious at all. Yet every Room is furnished so beautifully & tastefully. Just lovely! Moreover, the House has such an amazing Art Collection!. Especially the Painting of the Lake & Tower at Tabley, by J.M.W Turner! This Painting is so captivating! I love all of J.M.W. Turner's Art! His Works are so ethereal & totally mesmerizing! He was indeed a Genius & his Paintings truly stir the soul! The Gardens at Tabley are also very pretty. Your Afternoon 'Cream Tea' there looked delectable! Sorry to say it though lads, but you got it the wrong way round there! The Jam is supposed to be on the top! That's tradition don't you know? Crikey! Well, that's OK! At least you lads had the neatest looking Scones I have ever seen, doing it the other way around! It usually looks so messy when other folks do it that way! Nice job! You should really be awarded 'The Golden Scone Award' for that! LOL. Anyway, thank you for sharing another delightful experience at the lovely Tabley House! Blessings to you both!
@Annie4Always Hi Annie! We loved reading your comment! Always so thoughtfully done... Tabley was such a wonderful surprise, it far exceeded anything we were expecting! We spent quite some time just admiring the paintings and Turners painting of the lake and tower is just fabulous... he stayed at the house for quite some time while painting it. The scones were delicious 😋 possibly the best we've had! If you turn the phone upside down the cream/ jam configuration is just right 😆 😉 We hope you're having a great week and we send you our very best wishes 😊 Neil and Ant 😊
@@chrisisjustme7546 Awww!Thank you for your kind words lads! They are truly appreciated! Aye! 'Tis so true! Tabley House is just wonderful! I would have loved to have been there, especially when J.M.W. stayed there! Just to know him & to observe his amazing Art Work. That would have been a double delight! Aye! Those Scones definitely looked delicious! No doubt about it! Whether upside down or right side up! LOL. Thanks again for sharing lads! Have a peaceful night! Blessings! 🎑🌝
Thank you, I appreciate the clarification. Since you mentioned 700 years twice I assumed that the family had held ownership of the estate for 700 years and that the mansion was created when their fortunes increased. So nice to chat directly with you again! Good evening, Eric
Morning Neil and Ant
Another beautiful house
So many paintings
You did a fabulous job of showing us around and the narration was great.
We feel like we have been 😊
That cream tea looks delicious
Have a great day ❤
@@morgsjoboo2247 Good morning Guys! Thankyou so much! Have to say the scones were blooming lovely! The house is well worth a visit, we really enjoyed it! Hope you're having a great week ... thankyou for watching, all the best from us both 😊
Thank you for introducing me to another stately home
@bmj1680 Hi! Thankyou for watching and commenting! Pleased you enjoyed the video. Tabley is a great house which we really enjoyed visiting... Best wishes to you 😀
Hello Neil and Ant, thank you for another incredible estate with Tabley House. The volume of space in the staircase gallery area is absolutely amazing! I noticed a little error; you mentioned the house was built between 1761-69 and that the Leicester family lived here for 700 years. Maybe it's no error at all but instead my misunderstanding since the family could have lived on the land for 700 years. Either way I enjoyed the tour and your tea looked perfect after a wonderful tour! Eric
@ericwilliams7949 Hi Eric! Thanks for watching our video on Tabley... you are correct, it was indeed confusing wording... the Leicester family lived in Tabley old hall prior to building and moving into the house in our video... their tenure was 700 years in total. Apologies for the confusion... Pleased you enjoyed taking a look around with us... the cream tea was excellent, perhaps the nicest scones we've ever had, and we've had a few 😆 we were blown away by the art collection, it's fantastic they've managed to keep it all together. All the best Neil and Ant 😊
The house was built in the 1700s and was home to the family for 700 years? Thank you for the lovely tour.
@HolmesLaneGuy Hi! It was indeed... and still houses their fabulous collection if art and furniture! It us such a great collection... and the tearoom does the best scones which is a real bonus! Thanks for watching all the best 😊
Amazing
@DaveCollierCamping Hi Dave! Thankyou so much! We had a great visit! All the best to you 😊

@@fabriziopastorino3792 Ciao Fabrizio! Questo è uno degli esempi più perfetti di dimora palladiana che abbiamo visto! Ha le proporzioni simmetriche più belle... abbiamo adorato le ampie scalinate in pietra opposte! I migliori auguri a voi Neil e Ant 😊
