My favourite part of the entire tour was just hearing the pride in your voices when you acknowledge some of what you have achieved. Its been remarkable to watch over the years!
This is truly my dream home. I've passed it hundreds of times over the years, and each time, I began daydreaming that it was mine. I love what you are doing to the place.
I agree, we want you to have lots of subscribers so that money and free stuff start rolling your way like has happened to many others.... you deserve it boys, you have worked so hard and with such great taste, that it's a pleasure every time I watch!!! 🥰 There's nothing worse than seeing the start of a lovely building wanting to be reborn and as it moves along you discover that those owners have ghastly taste or even want to make it look mundane city modern with all that faddy lighting inside with no respect for period or place... I always feel so bad for the building and can't bear to watch the devastation anymore. 😥
Very unfortunately, the most popular channels focus on chateaus in France, farmsteads in Portugal, and mountain homes in Italy. Less popular channels are houses in Scandinavian countries and a few in Eastern European countries. They also feed off of and promote each other through inter-channel collaborations (especially for chateau). It’s up to us as subscribers to SHARE Dean and Borja’s channel with family and friends and suggest channel collaborations, such as with popular gardening channels. It’s one of the best of the lot ❤.
My mom loved your gardens. She thought you had a team of gardeners. I said the guy in the white sweater(jumper) is the head gardener and his assistant is the man in green shorts. 😂
Your estate is like a magical ride into the potential of not destroying old buildings but adapting them so the work with the modern conveniences that you need. I love the gardens, that is one thing I miss about not living in England anymore. No matter how small the gardens were people tried to make them a haven from modern life. I cannot wait to see more episodes of what you two are developing in the future.
Please hurry with the renovations of the Gardener's Cottage😄.... what a perfect place to stay in..... My husband is a horticulturalist and we visit the UK to go to the beautiful gardens around England, Wales, and Scotland. When we were young we thought it would be great to live on an estate in the gardener's cottage and care for the estate's grounds. Thank you for the lovely tour of the full estate..what a fantastic place...and you both are doing such beautiful work restoring it with modern amenities but keeping to its history. Well done you.😊
I seriously can't imagine the amount of work that you 2 have completed just in the gardens. Such a beautiful and fairy tale place. Stephanie & Phillip from The Chateau Diaries at Chateau de Lalande need to come for a tour. You should invite them. x
Wow!!! You are both such visionaries and amazing designers. Your son is sooooo blessed to have you guys and to have this fairytale estate to grow up on. With every turn and every hidden door, I imagine him pretending and playing and never wanting to be on a device!! Such a dream. Bravo and sincere congratulations ❤
WONDERFUL, FABULOUS, SENSATIONAL, DELIGHTFUL, DREAMY. Just the most amazing environment for adults to enjoy. But especially the new boy to run around when he is older.
Morning to both of you ,I can’t believe what you’ve done to the estate,it amazing, beautiful.I love your taste in decor and everything.sending love Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
Your Dream's are for all of us to see ❤...Amazing love each section and the Gardener's Cottage took my breath away so so perfect Thankyou for the tour :) ❤
Yews are symbols of strength, longevity and rebirth they can live up to 2000 yrs.they grow to 25 meters important for soli stabilization and control erosion. Love the tour Ty
WOW!! What a treat to take this tour with both of you and see this magical estate that you are bringing back to life. As I was watching, I kept thinking of Danteo and what an incredible place for him to grow up!
I knew your place was large, but I didn’t realize it was as expansive as it is! And every bit of it is beautiful! The amount of care and restoration you’ve put into it is incomprehensible! What a fantastic piece of history you’ve brought back to life! 😁🤗🥰
Hi Guy’s, Just amazing how you’ve both transformed the estate back to its former glory! I love that there’s separate buildings, outdoor loos, & huge walls rather than one big Maison ,in my opinion they add more character to your estate ! The gardens are amazing, love that the old paths take you on a journey ! Just a beautiful place to live, take in the views ,relax , fresh air, perfect for children to run around 😊 🥰
Oh how things change. I grew up on a Midwestern farm in the US. Our toilet was outdoors and not nearly as fancy as yours. Eventually, our parents added an indoor toilet/bathroom to the house but, not until I left for university. I must say that indoor facilities are better, especially in the middle of winter.
I absolutely love you guys, individually, as a couple and now as new dads. Borja, I love your enthusiasm in gardening. I get just as excited when I see things germinating and growing up, and when new cuttings take root. My Aussie roommate thinks I’m a nut when I get so excited over something in the garden. She couldn’t care less. But she likes to fish and I’d rather stick a hook in my own mouth. Each to her own. Keep up the awesome videos and congratulations on fatherhood. You’re both going to be awesome dads. 😘❤️🥰
Oh my! What a special place, the restoration that the two of you are doing is beyond amazing.A true labor of love. I think that we all would love to have such a place. I would love to be able to visit, but alas, I am coming to the end of my days, I doubt that I'd ever be able to visit. Continue with you wonderful project.
Thank you thank you for this tour. I am beginning to understand the layout of your buildings. When watching your videos, I have the most difficult time trying to figure out which building you're in and how the rooms fit together. I love hearing the pride in your voices as you show us the gardens and the renovations you've made. I look forward to seeing your progress. And now I finally understand that the dower house is a different property--I'd never figured that out before. I hope to book a stay in 2025.
Wow! Wow! Wow! What a magnificent property, I just loved your tour and your gardens are stunning too. Thank you SOOOO much for sharing this with us, just beautiful xxx
Also Irish! They also are planted in cemetries as they acted as natural deterrents or boundaries to wandering animals as they are not nice for them to eat!
Someone else answered ,but the yew was used as poison and also for archer bows, it was poisonous to animals also, in Celtic mythology it symbolizes life and death, and as Christianity merged with pagan traditions it continued to be planted near church's and graveyards, for the reasons also mentioned below.Im Irish and we have a 10th century castle related to my family near our home, the name of the castle translates as field of yews and we still have ancient yews in the grounds
Finally all my confusions about the areas are resolved! Thank you for the tour. It is a great joy to see the fruit of your hard work in the past years.
The envy of all! Such a perfect "tiny" estate with a real historic presence and beauty but with all the mod cons so tastefully added. If I ever get to the UK I would love to have tea in the gardens! A girl can dream...🤗 Thanks so much for the tour gentlemen.
Been following you guys for years and so impressed with your renovation style. So inspirational both inside and out. However had no idea how extensive the grounds are. So gorgeous. And your filming and editing style is very professional. I think you might be my favourite UA-camrs!
Your property is so large there! So surprising! Your eye for detail is amazing! Love your style! Love following you! You should have more followers! Well done
@@mytinyestate I can well imagine! You have had plenty to keep you busy and off the streets. Hoping baby ( and you) are happy and thriving! It certainly looks it from the house and grounds! 🥰👋🏼
As I'm now completely up to date on My Tiny Estate, I've downloaded Discovery + and making my way through Saving The Manor. I'm obsessed with you guys! In a nice way! ☺ I love your rose garden and your idea to put a water feature in as a focal point is fantastic! I can fair see it! However, as much as I'm loving everything you're doing, I can't wait for you to start work on the Gardener's Cottage. It's so beautiful!
Fantastic achievement guys, looks so beautiful & I bet the Estate loves you for it. Can’t wait to visit & stay. I know of a period large reclamation wall fountain that would look great on that wall near the orchard that Borja mentioned. I think it’s about £700 but it’s in Dorset. ❤
A map of the grounds and house/cottages would be great during the tour. Thank you for the tour! Did I see the dower house, way behind the tiny estate? I did see on your website that you do have a map. Absolutely love what you have done! So stunning!
I’m amazed at the height of those trees and the hedge in one of the gardens, coming from a Californian whose seen big trees, it’s impressive to see any that large on a property.
I watched a video yesterday that said the yew trees were planted in walled gardens (or cemeteries) to protect animals from eating their poisonous (to animals) needles. The video also said the yew branches were malleable and used for archers bows since they could be bent. I also love yew trees Borja!
Oh boys this was just wonderful ❤ I have followed you from the beginning and I still get lost! 🤣 big love to you both and of course your beautiful son 💙
Wow - it’s amazing - how on earth do you keep up with all the gardening? When you look at the street view you wouldn’t believe the dramatic change of view - loved this video - is the Manor House the main house ?
I know it’s amazing! Yess the Manor House is The Main House (we called them different names between Dean and I to know about what property we were referring too 😅)
Love the tour and all I can see you the both of you holding your baby son and showing him all the details. The fun he’ll have running around the paths and playing hid and seek in the long grass. Taking the time to smell the roses and help pick herbs and veggies for a meal. It’s going to be an amazing adventure.
It's so beautiful and peaceful looking. I still have it on my bucket list and it is about to claim the top spot. Perfect video and commentary, too! You've done an amazing job in the restoration.
Ok so I'm new here and I've been binging every moment I get a chance and I know there's only 20 episodes so far... Hahah no I think we are failures for still not getting anyone to help us hahahah! We have someone to help us turnover the rental accommodation but that’s it 😆

What a magical, wonderful place. The views over the countryside are magnificent and the individual buildings all have such character.

Loved watching this series on television. So glad to have found you on UA-cam.
Aww yay thanks
It is all absolutely beautiful. I love the walls and gardens and feel confident that you both will do your best for them.
Thank you so much!
I think the Yew Tree represents immortality in Celtic tradition - that might be why they are found in graveyards.
Ahhhhhh is that what it is ! How cool 🥰
Also Irish! They also are planted in cemetries as they acted as natural deterrents or boundaries to wandering animals as they are not nice for them to eat!

This is incredible, I am definitely going to go back and watch past videos, I just discovered you guys about a month ago. What a treat to the eyes, you work so hard and have fabulous taste. ❤️
Awww thanks 🥰🥰
Fabulous tour! lol, although I did get lost a bit.
Haha it’s hard not to! A fair few family members did when they first came here 😆
