You have NO say in the matter of leaving the body until it is "released" by proper authorities. It ensures that it is a natural (and in this case expected) death. After that, you must have the body prepared or cremated and then book reservations to ship the body or ashes to final destination. This could take quite some time. I'm sure it was agreed upon ahead of time what would happen after death as it was expected and he obviously wanted to travel until that point. Good for him! If I had that kind of cash, I would do the same.
It’s pretty effed up how they can go from a death sentence for this brutal murder to only giving her seven years, I hope justice will prevail here in the US, this woman should not be out among society.
Threw her whole life away for what?? This is what I don't get about murderers. You throwing your life away over something or someone that you can easily find a unviolent way to get out of. If she really hated her mom she could’ve kept her head down and finished high school then moved away with her riches, but no. Just stupid
A troubled kid doesn't care about money and life. You don't live her life so you are in no position to judge her actions. Who knows what was going with that family. From all I see her mother was a bad wife to go on vacation when the husband was hurt. Maybe she was a bad mom too. I am not about to judge them because I really don't know them.
Just insane. These cases always drive me crazy. If my cousin, brother or any relative told me about a plot to kill their mom or ANYONE I’d be calling the cops or someone. But it’s like in these situations the reaction is always to help
How can anyone do anything to cause pain of any kind to there own mother? You only have 1 and she is the reason your alive right now, she put you ahead of herself and did until she died. Poor woman
If she hadn't had a baby with a black dude the odds of this happening to her would have been roughly the same as being struck by lightning after surviving an airplane crash while holding a winning Powerball ticket.
Not necessarily if someone is that evil they will commit the worst crime they think they’re clever enough to get away with regardless whether parent presses charges or not. You don’t expect your own child to murder you no matter their temper you’ll always want to believe they will mature and eventually change.
WOW. I hope she gets a long, long sentence in her upcoming hearing. She knew the difference in right and wrong and there's no way a rebellious child like herself was forced to have abortions. She has always done what she wanted to do including planning and participating in her Mom's murder. Let her dance all she wants to in her little box for decades.
She won’t be having as much fun in a federal prison as she was in a Indonesian prison 😂 she gonna be bawling on the first day, ain’t gonna be no dancing or being in prison with her boyfriend. Just gonna be dread and concrete walls.
She is so entitled and that's the problem. She hasn't suffered any consequences for her prior actions. She is abusive, disrespectful, vindictive, and spoiled. Mom was too forgiving and I'm a witness that tough love is sometimes the only way to allow someone you love to succeed in life. You have to let them hit rock bottom to climb their OWN way up. Heather is a trip. Her confession was so dramatic in her own way. The sniffling and being extra; not a humble bone IN her body.
I'd do anything for my kids but I'd refuse any abuse and would have them arrested immediately if they assaulted myself or people I know, no ifs or buts, they're getting locked up.
How someone wake up and plot to kill their own mother? She seemed to have everything she could ever want. I don't know why she thought her mother killed her father (it wasn't explained if Heather knew exactly the cause) but I would never blame my mom for something like that. There's a few questions that weren't addressed, but all I can say is I hope she's sentenced appropriately and lost custody of her daughter. This girl has no remorse whatsoever.
In her video she said she had just "learned" a couple weeks before the trip that her mom killed her dad. That doesn't explain her violence and abuse of her mom for years. She's a psychopath. Violent, liar, no empathy or remorse.

She actually seems like a psychopath. Sociopaths are more manipulative & strategic for gratification. They also can’t form authentic bonds. She’s bonded to her baby daddy & maybe her father as well. She just despised her mother and probably did all her life.
@@hiboktalampak1473You’re confused because adrialynn gave you entirely wrong information. They cannot form bonds, cannot feel love, cannot build connections, do not feel guilt. Think of the eyes of a shark. Now imagine that shark looking at you as prey. That’s a psychopath. Sociopaths aren’t born, they’re curated in their environment (trauma; ect) and actually can feel some TINY semblance of connection to people. They’re not as intelligent and more likely to end up in prison. They’re sloppy and prone to emotional outbursts and just as deadly. @@GhastlyCretinpersonally never heard of that term either but yes I’m assuming their using a politically correct term to not stigmatize all people who commit crimes as it’s not always done in an evil conscience such as this one.
I would suspect Tony , that it was never a conscious decision to be child free, but more to do with circumstances in your earlier years. I have many friends who are now in their 50/60/70’s who never had children, none of them ever set out with a plan to be childless, failed relationships earlier on or just being too self centred to sustain a long term relationship lead to it.
Her mother used to call the police on her own daughter. So I doubt she even cared about her. I think she was a narcissistic mother who just wanted to control the child, plus that mother was he'll bent on taking her money. Oh, and killing her grandchild. Great mum 👏
@simonb9852 proof? There's no way her mom had control over her if Heather had the guts to push her mom into the bathroom, break her arm and unplug the phone 😂 yall trippin
@MyriamBernard13 na my child wouldn't need the police calling on them because I would raise my child with respect, not hate. Simple. Oh, and a real parent wouldn't raise a child that would bring the police to the door for murder simple.
There is A LOT that Sheila did wrong. Just continuing their holiday after her husband died. Not giving Heather space to grief, not looking for a psychiatrist for her or both of them, forcing her to have 2 abortions... Money helps with things, but it's obviously not the solution for every little thing. That doesn't mean she deserved to die. But Heather needed help throughout her childhood and teenage years. I'm sure there would have been a different outcome if she had received that.
Parents need to understand you can not be friends with you children as you are raising them..sometime not "protecting" them from their bad decisions is the best way to go... with the amount of money they had a conviction would not have hurt Heather quality of life. may have improved it since she was a minor and i am sure she would not have served any jail time.
6:05 not gonna lie, i think i’m more interested in how he died suddenly, 5 days after his will was changed to make his daughter the beneficiary. especially considering that the wife was completely cool with continuing the vacation.
Yah, I too am very interested in this. I think my jaw dropped open when he said she continued on with her vacation instead of mourning his loss. Something is definitely fishy about that.
Me too. That part seems suspicious in itself. He changed his will, died on vacation and she leaves his body in a morgue and finishes the vacation. Huh? The daughter is still a psychopath for killing her mother. She could have just left and spent her money like she wanted.

I hope she rots for all eternity, may Sheila rest in Peace.💗🙏🙏
My son over the last few years has done nothing but criticize and tear strips off me. Previously, we had a very close relationship. I did all work but his dad was a saint. An incident occurred and from that time on, he appeared to hate - even though he would send loving Mother’s Day cards. Very very confusing. I was walking on egg shells as I couldn’t figure out what had happened and I didn’t want to lose him. Now, I don’t want to talk to him because he just wants to make me feel bad. Once I had made the decision to be the one initiating contact, while I was heartbroken, at least I knew I had no control over his feelings. Scary to think that a child could hate his/her mother that much. I hope this spoiled brat has a really bad time in jail.
I’m not a big fan of my mother because of all the hardship she and my father put me through. I tried talking to her a few years back about it and she basically said “boo-boo. Grow up.” She’s sick now in a hospital. I feel conflicted because she hasn’t had an easy life. But… kill my own mother? Even hurt her? Never would even occur to me. We just don’t talk much. I don’t hate her. I don’t know how I feel about her. A lot of resentment for sure. Idk. Maybe I do kinda hate her. But I also kinda love her and remember good memories we’ve had as well. Mostly I feel bad for her. All this to say, I can understand why some can grow up to seriously dislike their mom. But killing your own parent is an act of evil. And the way this girl went about doing it was beyond evil: she’s a sociopathic devil, and maybe her mother wasn’t innocent, but she didn’t deserve to die and her daughter deserved live imprisonment.
I hope she now can face real jail time!! Because she was never really given anything that resembled it. By her having a way to comunícate from jail and make videos it’s just horrible. Talking about murdering your mother like it was nothing. That woman has shown to have zero remorse and has no feeling for what she did. She is a psychopath and a cold blooded killer 🤮. I hope she is given a life sentence or she might be able to kill again. As the parents of her child I would be worried to have her walking around not knowing what she could do!!
She didn’t continue her holiday, she just moved to the next hotel on their itinerary, coz her reservation in the first hotel had ended, but she was in Greece itself, within reach of the authorities and making arrangements to get her husbands body back to the US
@yojez probably because the father had seen how his wife was towards their daughter, so he writes her out the will because she only cared about money, aka gold digger. She didn't care about her daughter.
Exactly. And was legally trying to kill her daughter's 3rd unborn child. Hardly anybody is mentioning this. If I try to kill somebody's unborn child and they get me first NOBODY would have a problem with my death.
2:11 honestly, i wish i was rich enough to not notice a few thousands dollars charged to my credit card 😂 i must be too paranoid because i check my balance every dayv
I think everyone in this story sucks. Heather was disturbed. Not victim blaming but there’s more to the mom if she was left out of the will. Regardless she didn’t deserve to go out like that by the hands of her own daughter. Sad overall. Heather needed mental health support. Mother seemed cold to leave her husband and go on continuing her vacation not addressing her daughters grief. Heather was SPOILT. Never got punished. Just overall a sad case.
I really wish I can pull up the UA-cam video someone put in one of the comments under an older video about this case. It shows a drunk Sheila yelling at Heather in front of Heather's friends while they're in another country, calling her a whore and slut. The friends were standing there looking awkward and saying "Omg, okay we should leave". I now can't find the video ANYWHERE! Over the years on social media, Heather's friends she grew up with have defended her actions because they knew how her mom really was. Watching that video made me change perspectives but nevertheless killing someone isn't a good thing either
You can't leave the country if your husband died in it 😂 you crazy girl. There would be a huge investigation and only after they've determined it was acvidental, you would still have to stay and make arrangements to bring the body back. Like you think yo7 can just leave dead bodies in other countries and come back to good ol clean America?😂
They did not think this murder through at all smh🤦🏽♂️ Rest In Peace Shelia, who was a loving mother where all she wanted was what was best for her daughter
She must have bribed the Indonesian judge. Wtf is 7 yrs jail with preveliges meeting her boyfriend, smoking drugs, dancing for murder?? Disgusting injustice
Okay, so she found out 2 weeks before the vacation that her mom killed her dad, but she'd been planning the murder for months? And pretending that Tommy had nothing to do with it and just randomly agreed to help her kill her mom when he arrived in Bali?
Part of me feels like Heather never had empathy to begin with. If Sheila made her continue with their trip so soon after he father passed, how did she not have time to "properly" mourn her father? What if Sheila was trying to cheer her up so she didn't slip into despair? But because of that she was physically abusive to Shiela on numerous occasions, without a shred of empathy. Even when Shiela tried and tried to reconnect with her daughter, she was murdered for it. Did Heather have empathy when she brutally beat her mom to death and chop up her body? Or was it when she ditched her remains in a suitcase in the trunk of a cab? She deserves life in jail, not life at a luxury resort.
I agree that was so weird. But the mom didn't deserve any harm for that... her child needed therapy and help before this happened. The mom didn't deserve death
Everyone deals with death differently. That part was quickly glanced over in the video, but I'm sure there was more to it. Maybe it was hard for her to immediately go back home to a place where she will be constantly reminded of her husband, maybe she just wanted to drink the grief away. Being home during vacation with no work to do, just after a loved one died sounds like a terrible time. Judging by the daughter's personality, I doubt she was much of a help during those times either.
I wondered that too, but wasn't she really young? If then, I could understand her not wanting that to be her daughter's memory of her father's passing. I see how she would have used that time to distract her.
How does the penalty go from death by firing squad to 10 & 18 years.....very bizarre

Yes. Humans are inherently bad and we have to make conscious decisions 24/7 to be good and selfless
You have NO say in the matter of leaving the body until it is "released" by proper authorities. It ensures that it is a natural (and in this case expected) death. After that, you must have the body prepared or cremated and then book reservations to ship the body or ashes to final destination. This could take quite some time.

She actually seems like a psychopath. Sociopaths are more manipulative & strategic for gratification. They also can’t form authentic bonds. She’s bonded to her baby daddy & maybe her father as well. She just despised her mother and probably did all her life.
@@adrielynn when i googled it, sociopaths can form bonds while psychos dont. now im confused
@@hiboktalampak1473You’re confused because adrialynn gave you entirely wrong information.
Psychopaths are typically born (born evil, if you will) and are Vastly more manipulative and intelligent than sociopaths.
Since I’m not a psychologist I can’t diagnose the girl in this video; but now you know the difference.

@simonb9852 and real parents SHOULD call police on their kids if they truly love them. You the type to help ur son bury his dead gf???

I'm so sorry that is happening to you. Stay strong ❤
I’m not a big fan of my mother because of all the hardship she and my father put me through. I tried talking to her a few years back about it and she basically said “boo-boo. Grow up.”
She’s sick now in a hospital.
We can expect more of these cases as young people are no longer held accountable for their actions or entitled attitudes.
Blimey 😮 She really did not think this through right
I hope she now can face real jail time!!
She better not ever be in a prison I'm in.

The toll works in mysterious ways.
I do find it strange that she wanted to finish their vacation after her husband died. Especially when the daughter was so close to her father.
Yeah i thought that was a bit strange too, but maybe she wasn't thinking right due to the grief??
I think she did kill him.
I thought so too. And the wife wasn’t left anything in the will that had been written only five days before he died? What was the reason for that?
She didn’t continue her holiday, she just moved to the next hotel on their itinerary, coz her reservation in the first hotel had ended, but she was in Greece itself, within reach of the authorities and making arrangements to get her husbands body back to the US
@yojez probably because the father had seen how his wife was towards their daughter, so he writes her out the will because she only cared about money, aka gold digger. She didn't care about her daughter.
ironic how she was afraid of the death penalty
Her mother had 2 murders under her belt.
Exactly. And was legally trying to kill her daughter's 3rd unborn child. Hardly anybody is mentioning this. If I try to kill somebody's unborn child and they get me first NOBODY would have a problem with my death.
That pic of her and her mother on the plane she looks 😈 evil girl. She would have been a monster even if her Dad was alive
I’m trying to stay serious through this video but the photo of the boyfriend making that face just popping up at random times is taking me out 😂

i must be too paranoid because i check my balance every dayv
I'm curious why she had to be tried in the US also? Was that for other charges outside of the murder?
It's because she plotted the murder here in the U.S before going to Bali
Okay, so she found out 2 weeks before the vacation that her mom killed her dad, but she'd been planning the murder for months? And pretending that Tommy had nothing to do with it and just randomly agreed to help her kill her mom when he arrived in Bali?
Her mom did not kill her dad!!
Heather does not seem like the kind of person who can mourn the loss of human life. Seems more like manipulation honestly.
She should definitely get more time. Rest in peace to her mom. I do question the mom about her decision to go on vacation after the dad passed away.
She probably kept going on vacation because she found out her husband left her with nothing
