- This is Part 4 of our Building the “Best” Surly Bridge Club build project series. In this series we are upgrading our Surly Bridge Club in an attempt to build the very best bike for bikepacking and general commuting. In this episode we add a Surly 8-Pack front rack to our project bike.
Surly just launched their newly designed 8-Pack Rack and 24-Pack front racks. We thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try out one of these new front racks on our project Surly Bride Club. We'll show you how to put together the rack and mount it on the bike. We'll also give your our thoughts about the rack. We would love to year your comments about the rack and feedback about our Surly Bridge Club project.

I put an order in for a 24-pack rack 2.0 with my LBS, but Surly was already sold out by the time they put in an order. I'm glad I subscribed to your channel, because I just put an order in through your website.

Did you know that the 2024 Bridge club now has a mount for a kickstand
Are you serious? You mean a center mount or something on the chainstay?

@@stevemullin1195 That's what I figured. Wish I had that on my 2023 BC, but I _was_ successful mounting a Soma center double leg kickstand with Surly's Trucker plates.

Hi i am 7ft tall . I have a Soma 66cm frame. This rack fit to Soma fork as well?🤔 and what is it biggest frame what Surly make ?
Surly makes frames up to 64cm. I would think the rack would work on a Soma fork as long as it has the mounts on the side.
yeah. thats good. the mid build looked awkward with the dark components. this is a proper finish
