The whole point of Jesse's relationship with Walt is that it resembles his drug addiction. There are times that quite literally mirror this (Jane dies to overdose while Walt stands over her) and other times where it's left implied (Jesse's speech to Walt in season 3). And in that same vain, Jesse keeps coming back to Walt like any drug addict would. Theres also the not so subtle father/son dynamic they have going on.
Yeh, their relationship was not getting ‘rehashed’ at all. It was going through stages, influenced by other things going on in their lives.

I understand the fear and bias towards prequels and sequels, but Better Call Saul is just 10/10 in some aspects even better than Breaking Bad, evolved cinema. A little slow burn at first but when it explodes the timing and tempo feels perfect.
that show was the most boring uneventful piece of toast I’ve ever had the displeasure of wasting my time watching. Literally NOTHING happens the entire series and every time you keep expecting something to happen nothing does lol. You people are flat out lying when you say this show is good, you want to look smart. Vince Gilligan is a hack and anything modern core to begin with is a snoozer, like GTA and FPS games.
The last season of better call Saul is very bad :(

Walt's and Jesse's relationship wasn't rehash at all, it was a very believable back and fourth toxic parental dynamic. Jesse was a lost man whose relationship with him was an addiction in it of itself and it's captivating seeing Jesse mature throughout the show and drop all the juvenile shit whilst Walt gets completely consumed by greed and ego and to watch Walt manipulate Jesse when he's at his most vulnerable didn't feel like rehash, just a natural development of the dynamic until he literally couldn't do it anymore due to the shifted perception of Walt in Jesse's eyes at that point, especially the realization of Brock

it’s because these people have no souls and don’t actually have a genuine connection to beauty, art or sentiment. These are literally the NPCs and the worse part is some of them think they’re actually BETTER than actual human beings.
For god's sake, can Mauler and Destiny please just have a convo one on one that is more then an hour long. As someone who has been into politics, debating and philosophy since I was 13, I've never seen anyone quite like these two. They're cut from a different cloth when it comes to logic and argumentation.

I don't think people should feel like they're on a timer when talking about things for the most part. It's not that crazy their stream ended up being that long when responding to someone else's video and pausing taking everything point by point. People disagree all the time in life about things and want to respond. Also, I don't think the length of a movie dictates how long people can talk about it. If a scene in a movie is 2 minutes, does that mean how long people can talk about it should be limited to just 2 minutes?

7:20, I don't know how many of you guys watch The Blacklist, but this was a common trope that occurred with the dynamics of Reddington and Elizabeth. That was, to me, one of the aggravating story treads in the series. Every time the two would develop together as a team and a positive dynamic, something was revealed that pushed Liz away, then we spent 3-4 episodes rebuilding the relationship and development only for yet another thing to be revealed to push Liz away.
I binged that show and hated it the entire way

Why is that a bad? Isn't that good to have things in your story to test your character especially if that thing is something incremental to the plot and the entire plot of blacklist is their fragile relationship so to constantly test seems fair writing.
@@lampad4549 This is mainly just a preference thing. Like objectively it's a very good writing direction but personally it was aggravating as I felt that their dynamic was at its peak when they were together and working off of each other. Like my favorite season is Season 3. And maybe this wasn't the intention but I just couldn't relate to Liz sometimes with some of her decisions, but that might be because I fucking love Reddington lol

It was bad, but it just can NOT match up to Steins Gate. Like the whole thing with time travel and how it dealt with and the scenarios, for the most part, felt pretty realistic and how people would handle certain situations. It was so strange it the later iterations and seasons. Like would definitely work for visual novel, but not the anime.

I just blatantly disagree about the rehasing and redevelopment of his criticisms on all shows, it all makes sense in each show respectively besides Hughie, everything else makes sense and destiny's complaint is coming from preference and not some objective standpoint of some bad writing.

The Sopranos is better than the Wire or Breaking Bad and the sad thing is none of them have seen it. I get it, its a show with several seasons so its an investment of time but you'd think for a show with its reputation that someone would have seen it. O well 😔

The Boys season 3 was just so PAINFULLY unsubtle with the cringe left wing social commentary. The character development was good and the action was fun but it was a so obnoxious otherwise
