Cheers Jim. Yere that's why I try to learn all the time. To keep the work coming in. It's hard work sticking to one trade on domestic. When I first left the sites. Fantastic work mate! Could do with having you at my house sorting out my bathrooms! Got a few good tips mate, cheers for the video mate! Keep up the great work, very tidy as always!
Hi Andy cheers mate. Yes I am going to have to do some more detail videos. We had a few jobs to do at this house. So every min I had spair was doing the other jobs.so recording was tricky. I do have another vid coming In the same house will try and get in on in a few days. Bit of damp proof.👍👍👍👍
Hi Simon. Yes sorry about that. I was struggling for time a bit. So mist a lot of filming on this one. I am sure I will be doing something like this in the future. So will take a bit of time to film and show how we connect the soil👍👍👍
Hi yes something I forgot to put in video.we got lucky on this one the main stack is right behind the wall out side of house .so we drilled out side and coupled straight into that one 👍👍
Great video, We're looking to install a downstairs toilet. In this job did you run the toilet pipes etc from the upstairs toilet? Or did you have to install separate waste piping?
I really am in need a downstairs loo, but my husband who is a bit of a builder tells me that I can't due to the fact that there is no where for the waste to go. I feel sure that there are ways. If you have any advice I would be very grateful
Hi Susan. If you have no waste near by. You have two choices you could get the builders to fit a new drain witch could lead to a lot of digging. Or there is a toilet called a saniflo. It grindes up waste to go into a small pipe and pumps it to were you need it. You can also fit a sink to it. I have not installed one my self but know of a few people that's got them and think they are grate. It's called a saniflo toilet. Hope this helps👍
Hi man...you're seriously talented...where do you think it came from? did you have a father showing you as you grow up or something similar...great go watch your skills🙂
Hi Jack. When I left the big sites bricklaying. I found it hard to get jobs just bricklaying. So I got with a landlord who had a lot of houses. Doing them up. I didn't charge much as I was learning my self to do other things so he was happy and I was happy too. And I still learning today. Lol it never stops 😂👍👍👍
@@jackhouldsworth8640 I went to college for bricklaying when I left school. Everything else I just learned by watching and listening to other people. And giving it a bash 👍👍👍
@@markhep my mate is a tiler and told me when using wall plugs , to push the plug in past the tile because when screw is screwed in the expansion of the plug could crack the tile,
@@paulperrin2152 yere you can do that definitely. I like the plug on the tile as well if it's not near the edge for extra grip. But yere definitely if it near edge of tile. You could crack it 👍
Hi James was just that one wall the wall was way out. Was wondering how long before some one txt no dot and dab lol. I put that much when you press it in. It fills up the voids 👍
I’ve done many wall tile jobs using dab method and never had any problems. Just need to ideally make sure the adhesive pushes out into the four corners to protect them from cracking if someone drills into them, and put adequate number of dabs on each tile. But the other method of notch trowel is good too.
Yes did not really have the time to go into detail on this job .I have other bathroom fit videos that have more detail on fitting and that sort of thing👍
Brickie, plasterer, landscaper, roofer, tiler , plumber…… man of many talents . Very impressive good on you 👍

Can you remember the size of the room? Looking to build a downstairs w/c but wondering what the minimum size room I would need.
If I had to guess think it was 1m x 1.7m. To be fair if you can shut the door and sit on the toilet you are good 👍👍
I looked on Internet and it says 700mm x 1200mm minimum. Which is pritty small 👍
I am looking to do downstairs external
Nice 👍
Excellent!
Thanks 👍👍👍👍
How much would that cost ?
I couldn't remember now was a wile ago .this wasn't too bad because water and soil stack was close probably 2500 something near that 👍👍
how much does it cost mate thanks?
Not really Sure. The customers bought the materials. Think it was around 800 to a 1000 in labour 👍
Good job
