Great job as always ❤️ Mark Please can you tell me what size the 3m long floor joist you used (wide height ) Please
Cheers mate think they were 8in x2in
Great job mark , plenty of work in that one too ! Nice manageable steels 💪🏼👏🏽👏🏽🧱👍🏽
Cheers Steve .yes not to bad them pritty easy the way I like it 👍👍👍
I’m a tenant and have just had some proper cowboys come in and put the fan on wonky, then use sealant to cover up the gap they left between the wall and the lip of the fan unit! Landlady doesn’t seem fussed but it’s a mess. Also it’s so weak because of the air leaking. I’m tempted to do a re-do myself properly after watching your video. Really easy to understand. Thank you!
No problem.just make sure power is off first 👍👍👍
Top work again mark 💪💪🇬🇧
Cheers mate quite an easy one this steel wasn't that heavy. Thats the way I like it lol👍👍👍
👍👍
Cheers billy 👍👍👍
Nice job !!!!

Tut tut tut Mark i dont know..... Taking credit for the Lantern that the client installed LOL 😂🤣
😂I put a piece of glass in .well I watched a piece of glass go in 😂👍👍👍
Nice one Mark
Cheers mate 👍👍👍👍
I’m laying all the bits for UFH, but BC have told me that I have to have 4” of concrete on top of the DPC, then my insulation on top, thjen 50mm of liquid screed, how come you didn’t put concrete slab in first? Or have regs changed???
Hi mate .ye didn't do it because we had a concrete raft underneath it .but still had a lot to come up so put hardcore on top of the raft .that floor was mad half a meter deep .but the way they are asking is correct.if you don't it could crack .👍👍👍
@@markhep Thanks for getting back👍
Mark that job is coming along. Bit of a struggle that second steel but you got there in the end. It will be a nice addition once finished. Thanks for the video
Cheers nigel.yes should be a nice room 👍👍👍

Any tips on how to visqueen the corners?
Hi mate I just sort of cut it straight up the angle and fold it over .if your struggling and get It wrong. All you do is cut another square piece and lap it over and tape it down would not worry too much about it . just add a bit more over it .👍👍👍
Why do you put damp behind the starter?
@@ImtiazMohammad911-q5y it's just something the inspector makes you do most the time when joining walls
Great work and explanation, can't believe they've left the furniture and curtains in there. One question what do you do about having a cavity tray above the beams?
@@rattsarzze thanks mate ones you make it a internal wall you don't need a tray .if it had one take it out or leave it in does no matter they are for external walls only 👍👍👍
Great job as always mark Can you tell me what mix u used for cement ? Also did u use sharp sand or building sand?
Around the Pads and Rsj s
@@rashadjavaid1620 cheers mate it was 4 , Sand to one cement I use .you can use sharp sand or building sand I use what ever I have 👍👍👍

Finally watched mark while tonight’s video up loads. Been a bit hectic while Chris is in hospital but we managed a short video to keep the regulars happy. Lovely job that mark and you have good customers too 🙌🏽. Look forward to the steels vid 🧱👍🏼🙌🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild cheers mate .yere it been a mad one for you hopefully everything gets better for now on for you hay 👍👍👍
Why not using a taller steel so joists sit fully inside the H beam instead of trim so much of it?
I could have done mate .I just ordered what the engineer spec was .but yes could have ordered bigger would have saved some time did not think 👍👍
