She gets better with age. One of my favorite Rod songs... she nailed it. No matter what mood I'm in when I hear her music I feel my mood lighten and I become much happier. Thank you. ❤❤❤
I've seen Heart probably 50 times, (not kidding). Since they opened for Supertramp in '76 ! I bet she is having the best time ever right now ! Singing great tunes that she and we have always loved.
Rods album backed up by the Faces... the amazing mandolin,on the original was played by Ray Jackson of Lindisfarne...his name was nit credited on that album cos Rod couldn't remember his name!
Annie da best. Seen the Wilson sisters a few times. ABSOLUTEY Loved them. Listening to them for a few decades. They are the best. Love Annie's voice. Nancy's guitar. They're not together here. Bummr. ...........
When the rain came I thought you'd leave 'cause I knew how much you loved the sun But you chose to stay, stay and keep me warm through the coldest winter, I've ever known If the mandolin wind couldn't change a thing then I know I love ya Oh the snow fell without a break Buffalo died in the frozen fields you know Through the coldest winter in almost fourteen years I couldn't believe you kept a smile Now I can rest assured knowing that we've seen the worst And I know I love ya Oh I never was good with romantic words so the next few lines come really hard Don't have much but what I've got is yours except of course my steel guitar Ha, 'cause I know you don't play but I'll teach you one day because I love ya The coldest winter in almost fourteen years could never, never change your mind And I love ya And I love ya Lordy I love ya
A wee too much synthesizer in the beginning. Sounds like the band is in need of a little more 'intense' sound check. Her fine voice doesn't need any loud accompaniment.
One of my favorite Rod songs
As much as I love her nobody did it like Rod Stewart and The Faces.
He did write it, after all. Trivia: While Faces were on the album, it's not a Faces album, they recorded it under a contractual obligation.
May be my favorite Rod Stweart piece. Thanks, Ann!
It takes me back to my first concert
11 years old. 1971. Rod Stewart Faces
My first was Faces, 1972
U lucky person❤
@@malcolmharing3744 I am jealous ...never had the chance
She gets better with age.
One of my favorite Rod songs... she nailed it.
No matter what mood I'm in when I hear her music I feel my mood lighten and I become much happier. Thank you. ❤❤❤
Are you on crack or just like ragout old rocker woman who looks like she’s ready for pasture
Love sure does take me back to Anna Bay and Liz t
This makes me so happy!! I've always loved this song and wished more people would cover it. And of course, Ann can cover anything she wants!
This is just wonderful.
Every time hear this song I cry cause it’s hits home thanks for the cover
I've seen Heart probably 50 times, (not kidding). Since they opened for Supertramp in '76 !
I bet she is having the best time ever right now ! Singing great tunes that she and we have always loved.
Beautiful song, one of my all-time favourite songs.
i love this but I love the original even more. Stewart sang it with real passion. It's second only to Gasoline Alley as my favorite Stewart original.
i love the way she sings, so natural, and soulful.
Love her !! So happy my parents raised me on her music
Good old Rod’s song 1970/71
Beautiful ❤i love this woman ❤so much talent ❤
I WISH THE RECORDING QUALITY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER!!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG & YOU CAN HARDLY HEAR HER WORDS !!!!!
One of Rods best.
Rod was on vocals but it was a Faces song.
Wrong !! Song is on Rod's 3rd solo album. Written by Rod and Ronnie Wood.
Every Pictyre Tells A Story
Rods album backed up by the Faces... the amazing mandolin,on the original was played by Ray Jackson of Lindisfarne...his name was nit credited on that album cos Rod couldn't remember his name!
Favourite song sung by one of my favourite female singers.love it 🙂
She is Nothing But The Best.
Almost anything she sings great. She is a beautiful talented person. Love her.
Great version of the song. I would love to see you in Melbourne , Australia
No one sings this better than Rod!
Yet another reason to love Anne
Damn autocorrect...Ann
Thanks for posting. I was at that show. Cool that Craig played her black guitar with the heart shaped opening.
I can't thank you enough for sharing this. I just love her and I always liked this song. Ann looks great as well.
Annie da best. Seen the Wilson sisters a few times. ABSOLUTEY Loved them. Listening to them for a few decades. They are the best. Love Annie's voice. Nancy's guitar. They're not together here. Bummr. ...........
Never heard her do this song before. I like it.
LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When the rain came I thought you'd leave
'cause I knew how much you loved the sun
But you chose to stay, stay and keep me warm
through the coldest winter, I've ever known
If the mandolin wind couldn't change a thing
then I know I love ya
Oh the snow fell without a break
Buffalo died in the frozen fields you know
Through the coldest winter in almost fourteen years
I couldn't believe you kept a smile
Now I can rest assured knowing that we've seen the worst
And I know I love ya
Oh I never was good with romantic words
so the next few lines come really hard
Don't have much but what I've got is yours
except of course my steel guitar
Ha, 'cause I know you don't play
but I'll teach you one day
because I love ya
The coldest winter in almost fourteen years
could never, never change your mind
And I love ya
And I love ya
Lordy I love ya
Doesn't have to be dazzling or fast to be good. Enchanting
Thanks for sharing! !! the place i saw her at we could not take videis2
Apparently they couldn't take videos there either!
I'm a statue made rock and the only time I got wet is when I heard this song and tears up.
Best female rock and roll vocalist ever. Nobody comes close. Sorry Janis, Grace and all the others
Stevie.
We are in love
I can't even believe, he wrote this, no disrespect intended.
She does rod proud.
...and Rod has committed that she has ONE of the most, if not THE MOST, powerful voices in Rock.
Great cover, but... would've liked Nancy to be there too, on the mandolin (of course)! Also, no slide Dobro.
There's a mandolin at last! Not a traditional one, but a mandolin.
Fortunately, the gray-haired gent is doing so in Nancy's absence.
I've always loved Ann and sis Nancy. I wish Ann had gone on Ketogenic diet years ago she would be much healthier.
Best leave it to Rod
Needs Nancy and her mandolin!
I second that!
Sometimes I forget she plays a six string
A wee too much synthesizer in the beginning. Sounds like the band is in need of a little more 'intense' sound check. Her fine voice doesn't need any loud accompaniment.
she souldnt have done this, Its so far from her talents.
What's all the whooping for? STOP IT, IT'S STUPID.
Nope 👎🏻
Almost anything she sings great. She is a beautiful talented person. Love her.
