I started with interest on this topic for my allopecia and for a guy it is usually not that bad to shave his head but my scalp has scars so i was looking for a alternative option i bought some ready wigs in the past but i had to do so much to it to make it look real and really cant find anything outthere to suit me. I am a beginner of wig making. I sent two emails to you requesting your advice to buy lace from your web site. As you indicated, the beginner should use a stronger type of lace but I don’t know what lace is stronger than the others. Wow great video.... Never knew that is what the grading meant...always learn something new from your videos. All your hair looks so healthy and shiny. What made you cut your own hair? You gonna make a wig with it?
Well I had it almost for 3 years, I just wanted to go short again, i look better with short hair to be honest, BUT I also looked good with long since my hair is pretty nice and kinda rare in colour etc.
I made a mistake and cut it too short of course but tiwill grow to the length I want it in 1 month or so :D. I won't cut my hair again from now on, I did it for 10 years and never had an issue, but the last 3 years I didn't cut it at all

I use liquid rubber for it, when it si liquid it i low viscosity and thus you can put a mild film, when it sets it becomes water resistant and it is effectively a polymer elastic that engulfs both the lace and the knot. I have to make sure I burst any potential membrances that occur in the holes of the lace, I only want it to be on the lining and not in the holes.
It is also not removable by any means of wear and tear or solvents. so it is permanent!

Super Wig Maker, can you comment or do a video on these videos I see where they are using hot glue guns to apply tracks and frontals to wig heads, some of them sew.
Also, what would happen if I use a frontal in the back of the head, because I think the 360 frontals they have now do not give enough space in the back to show a realistic ponytail.

Well from my site it would be the #2 light brown, but for the front swiss lace is needed and you probably would have to tint it yourself.
Where can you buy swiss lace? I've tried looking on Amazon but its not authentic swiss lace.

Please give me the full names of everything you use to make a wig
1) Needles for ventilation (long or short your preference)
2) Holder(s) for the needles (a few options)
3) Lace, if you are a beginner you need strong lace which you can get from my site (links below), otherwise to get swiss lace I still can't have it on my site, but you can get it from somewhere else
4) A canvas head that is about the size of your head, you can you a styrofoam for start.
and then ti si sewing things, like thread, needles and some work.
Option: Elastic ribbon for elastic parts, clips and combs to put on the inside of the unit etc.

I can't, I am getting hair ready like this from my factory, they are meant for ventilation and they have the scales removed from the root part at about 4" as I request them so the returns can be longer than 2"

I do not have a kit, you need a holder,some needles and the lace for start, you can use synthetic hair for the begining till you learn. And you could use a canvas head obviously. I do not sell canvas heads, they would be very expensive to ship, they weight a ton

What lace color would you recommend for black women? Medium brown? Or dark brown?
I think #2 the medium brown could be good, the #1 dark brown is too dark, it is closer to the colour of pure africans so I wouldn't recomend it for African Americans that are a lot lighter usually. #2L is for lighter AA as well or tanned people like Latinos or darker skined Europeans. #3 is for those that have a more yellowish tone to their skin and #4 is the typical European "nude" colour.
