It's amazing how humble Thor is, and open to new concepts/ideas. He brings no ego to the table, truly inspiring and one of the reasons why he is the best in the world at what he does. A true 'winners mentality'.

@@notafuckinpplperson8233 they were bodybuilders which meant they had to make sure the body parts were nice looking and proportioned. But it also depends on their technique, some people dont flex their abs correctly when lifting heavy which can lead to the muscles forming incorrectly.
She has more muscle in her core then most ppl on their whole body! Crazy strong girl. And Thor.. well no comment
That’s a little extreme, dude... she’s a phenomenal athlete and she needs to leave that guy she’s with and join Thor’s harem to pass on god genetics, plus, that way her daughter could be ‘thorsdottir’ as well.

You might be surprised how well Annie would do. She has deadlifted over 350 lb at a bodyweight of around 150 and has some other equally impressive lifts.
She's actually been to his gym loads of times to train strongman. Strongman training is great for overall strength, stability and even cardio if you do it quickly. It seems obvious that since Annie competes in a sport that requires strength and proficiency at the strongman movements, she would train with the best strongman in the world.
Well done and great show!
Hafthor trains all the Icelandic CrossFit athletes in strongman events. That's one reason they perform so well in those events at the CrossFit Games.

It's amazingly inspiring to see people on the peak of fitness with such a fun and positive attitude. As the words on the wall read "STRONG, BRAVE & HUMBLE" i would also add "KIND". You guys really fight the negative sterotype of elitist and violent mass of muscle kind of person (all genders). Continue to be yourself and by that, inspiring the world.

Hafthor is really the world strongest man at the moment, when everything is considered ( ---> barbells, strongman, size/frame... ) provided he is injury free.
His 501kg raw deadlift attempt on the elephant bar was one of the most impressive strength feat I've ever seen, and believe me I've seen a lot.
Only guy I can see being close to him is Kirill Sarychev ( who is an absolute beast and probably has the strongest upper body ever, and has crazy raw strength even on lifts he doesn't train that much )..
But what makes Thor awesome is that he really looks like he is a gentle giant, looks really like a nice person, which is the icing on the cake.

edit : Annie is great too, and definitely one of my favorite CrossFitters! She is really nice, has great spirit and it's really good to see her again competing at the top of the hill

Fun to watch. Annie, your technique in clean could improve, if not both knees and lower back will sooner or later suffer. (certain inflexibility deep in the hips). If you want I can give some advise. Your Jerk is impeccable. Hafthor, you show how important flexibility training is. Many power lifters can't pick up a needle and walk like a broom stick. This is very damaging for the body, and will be felt when old. Im suffering from loads of pain in one shoulder (no cartilage) because I didnt care enough. After 105 kilo I noticed Annie learned not to high 5 Hafthor. lol. This video reminds me how much fun we had back in the days when we spent holidays doing cross training.. And Annie is just so beautiful
Imagine how much his heart has to pump when he goes full throttle for some time.. That is some serious stuff to the pump and the veins, blood is moving.. !

Annie is both an inspiration & an absolute beast
The stuff she said before "and then for the workout" is more exercise than i've done in years.
Really each of these blocks are an entire workout. Cleans are super technical; to go that heavy (she is talking about doing 220lbs, or around 1.5 her body weight, EMOM) and then continue pushing is absurd. But, that's crossfit, for better or worse.
The moment when you realize that they push your squat max weight above head.
Annie Mist Is one of a kind person. Spoke to her long time ago in person and I still remember how charming she felt from first moment, lot of life and honesty in here eyes and impressive likable personality. One of few real supergirls in iceland.
Hafþór Björnsson is cool massive dude, but I did not feel as a very macho guy when I was standing next to him :( and it was a pure moment of truth that “ size matters” :)
