It’s not a rite of passage for success, not really. It’s an all to common fate for artists. They feel more intensely than a lot of us, and that intensity can fuel both their creative output and the anguish that they carry with them in most of their waking moments. Nobody gets hooked on alcohol or opioids or cocaine or anything else because they’re happy, healthy, and feeling well. Rest in peace, Delores. Thank you so much for the gifts you gave the world.

I thank my mom constantly for introducing me to The Cranberries. Many days spent in the back of a beat up car vibing to them on cassette. I always make it a point to listen to them as much as possible.
She was a great, great songwriter, pouring her heart onto the page, and then singing from the heart. Yes, I can certainly relate to being "a fool", for a few. And it lingered. I love how her Irish accent creeps into the vocals, and then some seemingly Gaelic vocalization mid song. Enchanting. So incredibly sad that she killed herself with alcohol. That sadness you can hear in her voice was, apparently, in her heart as well.
I was 13 and being with my first puppy and the only thing that was around was an old radio and a cd of cranberries songs. I still remember my dog sleeping in my arms while listening to this.

I first heard of this band from Woodstock 94 I think it was. That was a great year and lineup but The Cranberries was so damn good. Its the ultimate shame that they weren't bigger than what they were. Long live The Cranberries and Dolores...one of the greatest vocalists there ever was.
I think they were a lot bigger in the UK since they were from Ireland. They sort of faded out of popularity here in the USA after their 2nd album, but I do remember seeing them on David Letterman once or twice when their later albums came out so they definitely had a solid fanbase. 🤷♂️

What a band and what a voice. Sleep well Delores
Truly one of a kind Delores, one of the most unique and amazing voices of all time.
Dear god i can't believe she's gone. I'm sick of heaven talking all of our earth angels. Until next time rest well.
I sadly forget hearing of her partying, it was on 5 live radio. We were sat down having our tea and I made my excuss and left the room for the bathroom.....I cried my eyes out. I was at university and there were only four bands in my book from Throm the 90's....... Cranberries, Manic's, Blur, Oasis.
Her voice was raw but so beautiful/unforgettable! X
I was just a kid when I heard this song! Now I'm adult..still as good and fresh as new!
She was so sweet and it was all new to her at 2:11 she relaxes and her voice came out. :)
This clip gave me the same feels as when i first saw them on 120 minutes. One of their epic performances.
Ótimos!!
Beautiful performance
I first heard of this band from Woodstock 94 I think it was. That was a great year and lineup but The Cranberries was so damn good. Its the ultimate shame that they weren't bigger than what they were. Long live The Cranberries and Dolores...one of the greatest vocalists there ever was.
I think they were a lot bigger in the UK since they were from Ireland. They sort of faded out of popularity here in the USA after their 2nd album, but I do remember seeing them on David Letterman once or twice when their later albums came out so they definitely had a solid fanbase. 🤷♂️
This is totally magnificent.
Man, I miss Dolores O'riordan" such a beautiful lady, small in size, she had the heart of a Lion, small petite lady, but full of courage to go out there and sing her beautiful voice around the world, she has left her mark and she will not be forgotten, including her humble talented bandmates who I can only imagine how much they all miss Dolores" God Bless Her"
