God speed, Dolores.
we were so blessed to grow up in the 90's.
Rip Dolores O’Riordan queen of limerick ireland ☘️🇮🇪
You can't be more wrong. She is queen of voice, World 🌎
I didn't realise that zombie was written on the Warrington bombing!
This is pure rock and roll!
Absolutely unreal version. The added piano and the conviction in Dolores' eyes sends shivers down my spine.
Props to Letterman and company to recognize the incredible talent of this band and have them on multiple times.
It's clear that Paul Shaffer absolutely loved them!
She's just unreal. I'm glad we had recordings. Fucking love her
Exquisite! Rest in Peace, Dolores. Thank you!
we will miss you Dolores never be a singer like her, her voice is incredible and unique, Still gives me goosebumps. RIP Angel.. You will never be forgotten.
You are so right cybervision!!! She was amazing God it is so sad so grateful for the remaining members of the cranberries have been so nice and I appreciate what they are doing for us fans!
Dolores' voice in Zombie is EXACTLY the same as the album. Wow, never seen that in music history
She had the most beautiful voice.
Jesus I'm so sad over her passing. Just crushed.
Angela Marie she died
Some people say she genuinely went to a better place. Her head was wrecked. But what and amazing talent. What a life! She was a genius. A musical equivalent of van gough. She took the chaos of pain and turns it into greatness.
Best band of 90s and greatest female musician in History
Best band of 90s is Nirvana dummy
@@brentthompson1607 such a sheep...Cobain would be proud
@@lldjwhyteell you are right about one thing, he would be proud to see a female fronted rock band be successful because he was a feminist. However, you are wrong to think Nirvana was not the best and most influential band of the 90s. Just two reasons off the top of my head would be that Nirvana has never had any bad albums, and Zombie by The Cranberries was very much influenced by the increase in grundge rock that was popularized by NIRVANA. You are only able to back up your claim by calling me a sheep which tells me you like critical analysis skills.
@@brentthompson1607 I agree they were a good band and very influential for their time but “the best” I think not
They are pretty good. Best band of the 90’s is a stretch. Greatest female musician ever is just not true. Sorry.
1994 Letterman was my first time hearing her music. I was hooked!!! powerful but balanced.
God, I never felt so sad for an artist passing away since Chester. I feel crushed. RIP Dolores
i Wept and cried so hard when she died! Was my most favorite singer and band!
Its already been 5 years? Wtf
Sorry who was chester?
A beautiful woman who possessed a beautiful talent and such a strong and incredible voice.......you shall be always missed and loved. R.I.P Dolores.
kinda tearing up watching this even a year later. damn such a power and fantasic voice
her voice is so unique
Beautiful voice, R.I.P Dolores ❤😢
see kids, long before autotuner was everywhere, musicians actually had these mysterious, rare things called passion, talent, courage, and motivation.
i weep for the future >.>
Oh come on. The radio in America has been mostly full of shit for my entire lifetime, and I just turned 50. You going to claim that Pat Boone, who held the American record for most consecutive weeks on the Billboard charts until about ten years ago, was an exemplar of passion, talent, courage, and motivation because he didn't use Autotune? Those attributes have nothing to do with technology or generation.
Music snob you are
Did you guys notice she broke her guitar string at the end of "Free to Decide"? And she kept on singing and playing like a boss!?! :O
Not the first time...
What else was she gonna do...this happens every day
no one stops a performance because of breaking a string, not on any level, from local open mic nite to massive stadiums, it is unremarkable.
Rest in peace, Dolores
Promises is flawless. RIP beautiful angel Dolores. Thx for everything you gave us.
The Best band, the Best voice in the world, unique.
With the magnificent musician Paul Shafer on the Zombie keyboard!
Miss uuuU Dolores.. Rest In Peace The Queen of Limerick...

Jesus life is so short!!! What a voice Delores had. I have just one of her albums, actually it's a cassette tape. I know, what are those, huh? I will be going out and buying all of her music now. Thank you Don Giller for uploading this.
thank you for this, you see how they evolved over time and unlike bands today no way are they lip synching, true quality, true class and no need to state anything other than the music. I miss Dolores so much !
I still can't get my head around it
I remember watching this on your channel and now it's been a year and I still come back to this.
Fantastic upload. They sounded amazing live.

MAN.. what a transition over a five period 😯
Just class!!
killer song and performance!!
Te amo
So powerful
Goosebumps...
Love your uploads, Don. But I really wish you wouldn't have a reason to keep posting these themed collections. :(
:(
I wonder why they performed 'I just Shot John Lennon'... 4:16 you would expect 'Ridiculous Thoughts' or something, IJSJL wasn't a single and Dolores with the red hair was all before the 3rd album. Maybe they were asked at the last minute? That performance was slick as hell!!! ❤
the only time i’ve ever seen Dolores in heels! for TV I guess? 7 sorrows Delors! Sing throughout the heavens!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful girl, beautiful voice, so sad.....
Letter man is the man man
Each performance was on 🔥😎, especially promises followed by Free To Decide and Zombie, then I Just Shot John Lennon

I would give the worth of the entire world to return to the 1990s.
An angel.
What an angel!!
The sweetest cranberry that ever was
Still have the biggest crush on her 30 years later.
Somehow I never noticed that Paul was playing piano with them on Zombie. It really adds to the sound and makes the song sound more epic around 2:50. I wonder if he was a fan and wanted to play with them or if maybe they asked him to or what the story was with that.
i only know this from watching too many videos on UA-cam, but for the first half or so of Letterman's career in the late shows (both NBC and CBS), it was very, very common for Paul and other members of the band to join in with musical artists. Even bands you wouldn't expect, like Dinosaur Jr, had the whole house band play with them. I'm guessing it was the artist's choice, but reasons for doing it could be to help fill out the sound or just because the artist thought it would be fun to play with that band. Paul and the band were true pros who could all probably sight read songs flawlessly or pick them up in a day, and were pretty well respected in their own right, and they all did tons of studio work. The joining in thing seemed to become less common in the last 10-15 years of Letterman's show, but i'm not sure why.
God Love Her.
TE EXTRAÑO DOLORES Y PENSAR QUE TE ESCUCHE EN EL ULTIMO CONCIERTO QUE DISTE EN VIDA AQUI EN LIMA EN EL 2016
Damn I love it sounds great! Thanks so much would you happen to have Zombie from 1995 Europe Music Awards in Stereo? I'd so love to hear that in stereo! Subscribed to your page thanks!
Thanks! Will have to check but I doubt I have it.
