Lovely performance of a misunderstood and underappreciated album. Robert and the boys let loose with a different eclectic assortment of musical styles and I certainly love them mixing it up. This was the only Cure concert I was lucky enough to see until the Songs of a Lost World tour which was absolutely life-affirming. Thanks for posting!

Not a big fan of Wild Mood Swings, but this performance is pretty amazing... A showcase of the skills of Robert's vocals, aways perfect & the versatility of the group as musicians, bloody brilliant!

Wild Mood Swings was like a bad joke when it came out, because most people were expecting something like Disintegration or Wish.
But it has aged wonderfully. It has so many good songs which are good on their own, when you don't compare them to their other stuff. Want is my favourite from that album.

Wild mood swings ...de los mejores álbumes de the cure , superior a muchos por ser el más instrumentado y ultra evolucionado , me devuelve en el tiempo ! gratos recuerdos!!!!!

Y el mas infravalorado ya que es "diferente" de su discografía. Juzgado de aburrido sólo porque piensan que The Cure solamente hace Rock Gótico, New Wave y Post Punk cuando ellos van mas allá.

@@kgmL97 Exacto y es estúpido pensar eso cuando The Cure experimenta mucho,en álbumes como The Head on the door era más alegre,en Kiss me Kiss me Kiss me es más pop,Wish también es pop,Bloodflowers tiene por ejemplo una leve influencia de postpunk,muy leve,Disintegration tiene esa influencia de postpunk pero de sus álbumes Seventeen Seconds y Faith y ojo este álbum no es rock gótico(se los dice alguien que pertenece a la cultura gótica y es curehead también,en otro comentario te diré que bandas son rock gótico si querés).
The Cure experimenta con muchas cosas y no está bueno que solo los quieran encasillar en un sólo género(de alguna uno estaría ignorando el sonido y el trabajo de los demás álbumes).
Pd:The Cure no es una banda de rock gótico,solo la primera trilogía (Seventeen Seconds,Faith y Pornography) están enmarcados dentro de la música gótica por su sonido postpunk y los elementos de oscuridad y melancolía (en este último álbum tiene un sonido áspero y crudo).
Luego en Disintegration tiene toques góticos pero por la influencia de Seventeen Seconds y Faith (porque Robert Smith quería volver a las raíces de The Cure,por eso Disintegration suena así),pero recuerda toques,no es completamente gótico (porque sino tendría que tener un sonido postpunk,deathrock,rock gótico,o de darkwave si fuera un álbum gótico)pero como no tiene esos sonidos y solo tiene los elementos y una leve influencia del postpunk)este álbum solo tiene toques góticos (no es del todo gótico.

@@kgmL97 The Cure es único porque puede experimentar muchos sonidos pero los hace canciones y álbumes y encima suena muy bien y a los fans les gusta mucho,esa variedad de sonidos que tiene The Cure,como por ejemplo la canción 13th de Wild Mood Swings,que tiene un sonido cercano a la música de mariachis(y querés saber algo?a cureheads también les gusta)
