@@brunodebove Love it! More so now because they offer shine-through keycaps. I got the brown switches and they sound and feel great. Low-profile keycaps are the way to go. I tried the Logitech low-profile mechanical keyboard they recently released and it does not feel as nice as the Nuphy.

You don't need software or a Windows PC to turn off the 2 LED indicators on the left and right. Just FN+?+down a couple of times.

Do you have an idea of how long does it take to charge the battery and an avarage of how long does it last before having to charge it again?

It charges up in a couple of hours, and I’ve been using it like ALL WEEK before needing to charge.
So before anyone asks or says anything: the keyboard shortcuts to turn the light bars OFF (or control brightness and all that jazz) aren't working without the software. That's why I mentioned this in the video BUT, since Mr. Scatterbrains here forgot the show you guys the footage, you're just gonna have to take my word for it... But that's enough, right?! ;)
I own this keyboard before its beta software released, and I can conrol the side bar LED with the shortcuts mentioned in the manual, I think your copy just has some kind of issue. It would be great if you can advise people on this rather than leading them to believe it can only be controlled by software. But nonetheless, a great video
I did say that I was supposed to be able to do that on the board directly, though… but still, nothing that major.

@@TechHyped i turned the backlights off by cycling through the lighting behavior a bit, with the shortcut FN+Left-Arrow. one of behaviors turns them off. FN+Right-Arrow only seems to change the colors. i haven't installed the software
Its not about the overall backlighting. I’m talking about the light bars to either side. The fn+left/right doesn’t do anything to it.
nice review! Cheese Turbulence mentioned in his review that the screws were self drilling (undesirable). but the poster that comes with the keyboard show normal threaded screws. i see that you removed the battery. did you also find self drilling screws?

I didn't remember, so I unscrewed a couple again to look at and they're self-tapping, not self-drilling. Neither of which inspire supreme confidence in me that I'd be able to take this apart and put it back together an infinite number of times, BUT there's also nothing much to do inside of this thing, really

For many, any keyboard is OK. For others (like me) a proper keyboard is a must. This is why I need to try a keyboard before I buy it. It can be a very cheap one but if it types well, I am sold.
For people like you you must order and use it there is nowhere to try it lol

I'm looking for a keyboard i can use at public areas like the coffee shops. I don't want something as quiet as a stock laptop keyboard, i want something that will make typing more fun, but not too annoying towards the people around me. Which color switch would you recommend me?
Hi TurtleMilk! I recommend brown switch 100%! Its has great tactile feedback, the sound level is perfectly suitable for coffee shops or office's. Many people get the brown switch because its not as loud as blue switches, plus you get the perfect amount of Thockiness in brown switch.
For hardcore typers I would recommend the blue switch because you get a satisfying audible click, with a light tactile snap

Tactile response, not loud and obnoxious and more satisfying to type on than reds (for me, obviously).

I saw at least 5 other youtuber complaining about the Air75 not fitting very well over a macbook pro "keyboard". I was like, wtf. Why would you use a separate keyboard like this. Is the keys on the macbook pro that BAD???
It makes zero sense to me as well, lol.
The macbook keyboard is pretty dang great, but this thing is awesome.
Personally I hate laptop keyboards with a passion, all of them. Our office has a super old Toshiba with “real” keys but I can’t type on flimsy keys, same with Apple’s Magic Keyboard (I do love the A1048 though).
It makes sense to me to use it on top of my MacBook pro with touch bar, I'm a programmer and use the vim editor where the ESC key is used all the time, and the MacBook Pro hasn't that as a key, is on the touch bar D: and the butterfly keyboard is uncomfortable for me, I work outside all the time in small couches with no tables and no space for a separate keyboard. My laptop was given to me for my job so no way to choose the one with the magic keyboard.
Well, in THAT case it does make sense, but its kinda fringe, don’t you think? I mean, yeah, several programmers around, obviously, but they’re focusing too much on that specific “feature”, as if that was THE HUGEST BENEFIT of grabbing one of those, when in fact they’re actually flipping awesome.

Wish the key caps were actually shine through
You can fit any Cherry stem style keycaps (basically like 99% of keycaps on the market) on this keyboard, they fit well, the only thing is that the keycap bottom out on the keyboard plate rather than on the switch housing, so the sound you hear with stock keycaps vs other "normal" profile keycaps will differ

Yup, shine thru key caps would have made this the perfect keyboard. Having RGB but can't see the character in the dark is kinda pointless to me. If I am getting RGB, it has to be shine thru key caps.

I'm looking for a bluetooth mech kbd and was about to go with this one until you mentioned the dichotomy between the marketing pictures on their website, and the fact that you need to run some crappy Winpoop software in order to manage those side lights 🤢🤮 (me being %90 GNU+Linux, %10 Mac user). Thanks bud! As I mentioned in my pinned comment, there was supposed to be a specific function on the board that would let you at least turn the bars off, but mine just doesn't work... I kinda got used to the bars being on all the time, and I'll be DAMNED if I'll download that software lol.
ps: in retrospect, perhaps I should have done it at least to evaluate the software for the review.... Maybe I'll do it and add to my pinned comment hehe.

Sure. I’d advise to use the 2.4ghz dongle for some heavy hardcore MLG gaming seshs, but bluetooth has been doing the job for lighter gaming for me just fine

Any tips on getting F1-F12 working on Linux w/ windows layout? They act as media keys w/ AND w/o the FN key for me
You will have to use its software to change them to do F1 to F12
i suspect that the software writes to the keyboard, because they tell you to do a factory reset if anything goes wrong. so i'm #guessing# it works on Linux
Yes, it saves setting to keyboard, I made changes on Windows and the changes still work when I connect the keyboard to Mac, wired or wireless. Also the changes you save apply to either the "WIN" and "MAC" only (the Win/Mac switch at the rear). I change the Screenshot & Cortana keys on Windows and when I plug the keyboard to Mac and flip the switch to MAC, the screenshot & Cortana/Siri keys work as usual. But if I flip the switch to WIN, then those keys become what I defined

The red stock ones.
Never actually tinkered with the board after the review… its just so good as it is that I kinda didn’t wanna mess with it.

Yep. The idea for the folding “case” is to serve as a tray to prop up an iPad, for example.
