Also why would you include some normal WW2 bunker as one of the disturbing things in the forest 😭 Do you know how many random bunkers are scattered throughout germany? The number is like over 20,000 😂
Especially in a country where gun rights don't exist and it's practically a crime to defend yourself. I feel safer in downtown Philadelphia than I would in rural UK.
Imagine going to the woods and then getting scared because you hear an animal walking 😂 if I was his wife that would give me such an ick. He'd be out so fast. Ew.
Bro I was smoking in the woods one night at my new apartment and heard footsteps coming toward me like that first clip and almost shit myself only to see 2 little tortoises come through the brush lol
Yea I had something similar happen to me and a group of friends passing out in a truck after a bonfire in front of an abandoned house in the woods and the driver was so scared he stayed in tje floorboard and told ourfriend to just get us out and he fully gassed the truck in reverse a 180 before opening his eyes and never looked behind lol. Year later Ive made a habit of being up late at night and have heard many human footsteps at 4am outside my window , ad Everytime i go outside its either a possum or mole digging around in the leaves not even paying attention to me walking up to them til the last second 5ft away. I guarantee that was what the first clip was.
Yeah but in that first clip, if you have decent headphones, you can hear a lot of people way in the background talking and shouting. Sounds like he's at a public campsite, if he can hear the footsteps, he should be able to hear all of those people.
Sticks and stones. I'd rather follow my gut and be called a wimp than stay and find out what the heck is following me. "Better be safe and sorry" I always say.
I was solo camping in florida and heard footsteps coming directly towards my campsite in the middle of the night. My heart was pounding so hard that it almost drowned out any other sound. I sat in absolute frozen horror for what seemed like forever, staring into the darkness as the footsteps came closer and closer. When a family of armadillos came out of bushes i almost fainted from relief. 😅
He picked it up due to the boiling sound it was making. He wanted to hear his surroundings, but yes I agree boiling water would stop someone in their tracks
Wouldn't call that sick. Seems like someone is extemely f#cked up with those bikers. Have a similiar situation at my home with tuners ans bikers constantly using our street as a racetrack at night for years now. Trust me, if you endure this for a long time, you get angry fantasies. Police and authorities do nothing and if you talk to those people, they make jokes and feel even more provocated. Sth similiar could be the case here.
Never ever camp in the woods alone. Have at least one person with you and always have a weapon on you. Dude aint a wimp. He's actually the opposite. He's just being smart.
i lived in the forest for 3 months, unarmed, alone. i can tell you, there is some creepy shit in those woods. doesn't matter if you are armed or alone.

I will never understand the unnecessary thrill of mankind what is wrong with houses or if you want to be part of nature go to a log cabin resort. Like y camp or walk in the woods at all whether by yourself or with company if the streets are a dangerous place and they have cameras and everything imagine the woods
First thing to do in his situation is to stay quiet and pretend like you havent heard anything and then pack up calmly while speaking to yourself "this area is a bit rugged... I need to find a smoother spot to camp"
Maybe it's because they're kind of stuck - pack up in poor light and hike in the dark and risk getting lost or attacked on the way? Or stay where they are and be ready to try and defend themselves?
The value of a well trained, clear headed but alert dog while camping is criminally underrated. Even if the dog doesn't have the confidence to fight an attacker if they did engage, the very notion that someone has a dog to alert and back them up is enough to give most folks with bad intentions pause.
This! I'm a dog trainer and have lived alone as a female for a long time (my mom lives with me now) and anytime I felt a bit freaked out I'd let the dogs all out. Great security alarms. Even my little deaf dachshund ran at and intensly barked at my ex once when he came in unannounced lol the courage is unmatched ❤
@@viceb7small dogs are the best. They make such a chaotic sound everywhere they go lol. I know they can’t do much damage, but they’re enough to scare people and to draw attention to yourself.

You can always see the difference between the fake “encounters” on UA-cam, and the folks that are actually involved in a fight/flight/freeze/fawn situation. The look in their eyes gives the fear response complete validity.
I dunno, I think all this comfort and leisure, and never having to face hazards or uncertainty has turned us all into whimpering, trembling mice, or girls in middle school in white bread suburbia - tho not girls in middle school in Compton, that's a place where pls lives are more the way we evolved to deal w and face, so ppl from there ironically more mentally healthy, and id suspect, less prone to phobias or irrational, often omnipresent, fears
I did it one week ago in woods near sea went solo spend afternoon and a night in hammock although next camp from me was 200 metres away. Only think that was "disturbing" was some animal at night exploring near me by sound and weight (sound of branches) probably was fox rarely boar or jackals, I just made two times loud PCH!!! sound and that thing run away and as "preventive" I made hand clap just in case
people write creepy grafiti just to be creepy, anyone actually needing help would try to get help instead of tagging it on the wall.. what are the odds of a person needing help also having a paint can with them?
Most of the stories are questionable, that is not including commentary that is often pushing even more into mysterious side of the story. The only truly legitimate one in the video is the encounter by vanlifer. This was suspicious beyond belief. He might have been opportunistic in nature and noticed she was solo. I heard some women would bring to the camp site two folding chairs, pair of man hiking shoes, extra jacket, etc.
That video with the Rv is incredibly eerie. The fact they only left her alone when more people were there but stalked her without saying anything for hours up until that point is so ffing creepy.
I agree--I also wondered if there was a reason, after he moved his vehicle out of the way, why she didn't simply leave. If I could have left, I believe I would have.
@@janelleanderson6744 Valid, but he could have followed her if she left the space. I would have told the other campers hoping there was a man in it to help her if anything were to happen. But we don't know if she did that. As a woman this is why I would never camp alone!!
I live near an uninhabited island that’s a fairly common camping destination for kayakers, but in the winter it’s usually abandoned. The video of the person screaming “daddy” reminded me of a scary incident out there a few years ago. I was alone on the island, and a father and son showed up right before sunset. We greeted one another and split about a mile apart. At about 1:00am, a shrill voice screaming “daddy” woke me up. It sounded like a kid was being murdered. I called 911 and started running in the direction of where the father and son were camping. To my surprise, about halfway there, I ran into the father, carrying his son. The screaming continued off in the dunes. We decided to stick together and return to their camp to await the Ranger. Eventually the screaming stopped. Shortly after the Ranger arrived and confirmed we were the only ones permitted to be out there. Nothing was found. I continue to scour the dunes to this day but have never run across anything out of the ordinary. No idea what that was about.
I have lived in a rural area my whole life. Woods all around. That was either a coyote of more likely a big cat of some kind. They'll sound like a kid or even a woman screaming. My bet is on a cat.
When my dad was in Afghanistan, he would hear laughter-like sounds coming from the hills at 3 am. It sounded like witches laughing. He was more afraid of that than possible enemies on his position. He was later told it was coyotes howling but it did not sound like a coyote. It sounded very sinister. To this day he has no idea what it was. Not knowing is the scariest part 😢
Hearing footsteps and then nobody responding to "Hello?", I'd casually talk to camera like "Anyway, I'm gonna be reviewing the new crossbow I have here and my new knives. Hopefully we find some people so I can really get a feel for how they perform. Got my bleach and plastic, just in case." Lol
Better you should say 'anyway now I'm gonna show you'll my latest Kalashnikov rifle with a new type nade launcher , I think it's best place to test these illigal weapons"
8:20 As a farmer I have to say wtf, do you not think that people who've spent their entire lives out here would know wtf a killwire is? No, that's intentional, 100%.
What? A farmer didn't put that up to dry his clothes? Don't all farmers live in dense, mountainous forests? My world-view has been shaken to the very core of my being! (well, tbf there is a particular crop that a particular kind of farmer would grow in those conditions lol)

It’s really rather rare though to experience these things. While the woods is dangerous, we know that. That’s why you come prepared, ESPECIALLY if you’re alone. But in my opinion, you should never go into the woods alone.
One of the comments shown warned not to follow these sounds as they are allegedly kidnapping tactics. I watch a lot of true crime, and that strikes eerily plausible to me. I guess always call for help before going out there. You can't go wrong.
@Haydrion-Daniëlle I noticed it and paused to read. Not sure if it's the case here, but I am definitely thinking twice if I ever run into a similar situation. More importantly, I'm just some dude, if I find someone in the woods who needs help, I'm calling first responders to get them on the way, then I'll help. With firearms on hand. Just in case.
@Haydrion-Daniëlle Even known serial killers use victim tactics. Bundy used to wear a fake.cast on his arm to appear non threatening. Cool to be a good Samaritan but go careful.
I was lookin for a spot to shit once and I had no idea there were people camping just over a dirt mound. They kept saying hello, and I hoped to god they wouldnt come back there n catch me shitting 😂. They heard me grunt and they got freaked out n the woman said she wanted to go to her husband
Because most of these videos are sadly fake. Not all of them obviously but certain ones you can tell are by how people react in them. Especially the ones from channels that consistently have things happen to them in their camping videos
This is what I was thinking. Or at the very least, why didn't she just leave. This life coach.. that lives in her van. If he adjusted his car for 30 minutes I'm sure there were openings. It looked like she couldve gotten through during parts of the video. Dude was definitely gonna try some shit as soon as he could confirm there was nobody else in her van and she just sat there. He even came back that night and once again she just films rather than crank up and leave. By all appearances she left quite a bit up to fate. Seemingly, dude only left that time bc of another group being out there or something. She almost became an unna-life coach

At 15:22 when he says that it was “possibly written by German soldiers in the later parts of World War Two” it’s just not possible for that to be true. Spray paint was invented around the 1940s but it did not become popular until the 1960s and even if by some chance that the German soldiers had spray paint and had enough down time to spray help, the average pain job with spray paint lasts 10-15 years and that’s with proper upholstery
Plus, if I had to guess based on the equipment and scale that was a cold war bunker, not from the nazi era. Yes they had bunkers in the woods but that has a far more east german/Russian look to the build.
They were issued aerosol cans...very rarely, and only to motorized divisions. The colors issued tan green and brown and Grey and were nothing like today's enamels. The equipment needed repaint at least 1x a year

It kind of seemed like a loudspeaker with crunching footsteps sounds, like they purposely set out to freak him out. That no one answered his hello to declare their presence, like a normal person would, not good. At best, a mean prank, at worst, we'll just be glad he left.
@@lindam9018 Forgive me if I missed something as I did not watch the original video but how would one even set a prank like that? Did anyone even know he was heading there? @SomeSilentSerpent It was just a guess but he has been doing those videos for 10 years, someone could have followed him out there and kept their distance well enough that he didn't notice. That crunching was pretty loud.
He has another video where he goes back to that area and ends up staying the full night. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t hear the footsteps the second time but you can tell he’s on edge most of the night. The only other time I saw him get a little freaked out was when a huge amount of spiders somehow got into his tent. I love his videos.
In 2012 I spent some time in a spinal rehab unit following a workplace accident and while I was there I briefly met a guy who had run into a wire while riding his bike in a park and who was subsequently left paralyzed from the neck down. I only have a vague recollection of him because I was pretty doped up due to my own injuries but I often wonder what ever happened to him. Imagine just riding your bike through the park when suddenly your entire life is changed forever…
Well, considering he was paralyzed from the neck down, you probably don’t have to wonder too much. I’m sure his life wasn’t the greatest from that point on…
@@undrwrldsk8fred that’s a pretty ignorant thing to say. My dad was an avid outdoorsman. He never went into the wilderness unarmed. I remember going deep into the Utah backcountry with him and he still made sure we both carried. I hate camping, but still know that animals (including humans) are unpredictable.
Yeh Britain and Ireland don't seem to have as many weirdo psychos as the USA but this vid shows we do stilp have some. I'm not going into the deep woods without a firearm and some decent ammo.
Fun fact there are groups of people hiding with suits and night vision along with other tools to help catch people wrapping wires on trees and trails. So far it's been pretty successful.
My Disturbing Story: Went camping with a mate in the woods one October. We set up with just two tarps-one on the ground and one overhead-and a roaring fire. It was freezing, so we snuggled up in a single sleeping bag and drifted off. Around 2:30 a.m., we hear these creepy crackling sounds. We’re in the dark, the fire’s nearly out, and we’re both freezing. He grabs a knife, I get a stick, and we peek out. There are two guys just standing there, staring at us. They say they were out walking their dogs and offer to get us a tent from the church, claiming we looked worse off than homeless people. We tell them we’re fine and they move on. As we’re lying there, discussing how weird that was, we hear a horrifying howl, like a dog in serious pain. It didn’t sound like anything we’d heard before-more like something was seriously wrong. We packed up everything in a flash and hiked back home in the pitch black. Too sketchy to stick around.
1:30 It's ridiculous, we can hear very clearly that the footsteps are added to the montage. Furthermore, when he takes his camera to film, we clearly hear that the footsteps remain in the same place on the audio track and that they do not evolve in 3D depending on where he moves... A crude and ridiculous fake, I'm surprised no one is talking about it in the comments.
Paused just over 2 minutes in to see the comments if anyone was calling this out. You can hear distant male voices in conversation and traffic in the background and it repeats the same pattern when he moves around trying to show nobody else was around.
The story of Lisa's experience struck me as I have also traveled across the US in a camper. Camping in unfamiliar areas is always risky. You have to be careful, and this is coming from a 6'$" 230 pound retired Army vet. When I boondock, I am very careful and check out the area, and am alert and will immediately leave and go down the road if anything feels sketchy. A young woman alone really needs to be careful. There are a lot of creeps out there. I also travel with 2 aggressively protective German Shepherds. They are my early warning system, as well as a deterrent to some. They don't miss much when we are parked. Plus they're just a lot of fun. I also carry a firearm and an industrial size can of pepper gel. You can't be too careful. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
I wouldn't let my guy friends travel around in this nation alone let alone some 2nd or 3rd world nation, and that applies x50 for Women, sadly this trend of Western Women traveling alone, unarmed, and in total ignorance is leading to some devastating consequences....

Like someone else commented, the screams are probably from an animal, but the other voice could be from someone else trying to look for the source of the noise
The "where are you" sounded way too casual and to close to the camera, it was probably the wife of the man recording asking where he was as he was probably outside filming, Also the "Kid" crying sounded way too loud. And why would he be there at 2am on a snowy december night? If I lost with my child in the woods, and he was crying for help, I wouldnt say "where are you" that casual.
My husband and I were camping in an extremely remote area in 2013 and we had just turned off the lantern for the night. About ten minutes later at about 11:30PM we heard the most intense, hellish screaming you can possibly imagine in the mid-distance. No words, just shrieking. It happened about six times over fifteen minutes or so, getting further away until it stopped entirely. It was CHILLING and I was literally shaking. We were 99% certain it was some kind of animal, but neither of us slept a wink that night.
I once was camping in the middle of nowhere in Norway. Me and my friend just joked the whole day about wolverines being in the region. "Yeah they can eat an adult elk by themselves" and shit like that. At night I heard horrifying screams and woke my friend up and we just stood there in the tent with a deafening silence. And then we heard it again and some footsteps passing by the tent. We were shitting ourselves so hard but at the same time we wanted to laugh out of fear hahah. Anyway got to the morning and once we were loading everything in our truck we heard the scream again but this time reaaaaally close to us. We turned around in the blink of an eye and witnessed 3 sheeps staring at us. And one of those fuckers screamed again. Funniest story we had to share back home from that trip hahaha.

English woodsman’s review videos started loosing views. He started using clickbait titles and then started uploading some clearly staged videos. He’s considered a joke amongst the uk camping community and also an untrustworthy source for reviews and he has always wanted an OEX (camping brand) sponsorship and to also be sponsored by those dried camping food companies. Just the clip you used is clearly fake… The volume of the footsteps doesn’t change, they don’t get further away or closer… It’s almost as though HE held his camera in his hand as he walked and then added that audio over this clip. He’s also claimed to be shot at by farmers… (not on camera) and be trampled by a herd of deer (not on camera). Everything that happens is always when he’s not filming and a lot of the time he goes home because it’s too scary (but it’s usually when it’s raining and he’s only brought a hammock). He also claims to do wild and stealth camps but also slips up and tells his viewers he’s on his friends farmlands less than a mile from his own home. English woodsman is a complete joke of a “camping channel”. Oh and he’s also been given strikes by UA-cam for running “competitions for an ebike”. He would regularly ask people to leave a like, comment and subscribe and then he’d pick a winner for an E Bike “next week” but he kept putting it off for months, but continuing to tell people to give his channel engagement. Eventually enough people complained to UA-cam and they gave him a strike for it and he made a video explaining that the competition was now off.
@@river8760 it’s 100% just him in overlaying his own footsteps over the video. They don’t sound natural because he’s obviously not walking how you’d naturally walk and instead thinking about it too hard haha. English woodsman, if you watch his videos, you can tell he definitely has a low IQ.
That was the first thing that came in my mind. Listen sound quality of his voice, and then the sound quality of that footsteps. So clean and loud, like someone is walking right behind the camera. If the footsteps are being recorded so clearly with the camera's microphone, you have must also surely have visual contact with the person/animal who creates them. If you're going to go into the woods to check something like that out, at the very least take SOMETHING to defend yourself with, and keep in mind that if you're walking towards trouble with a torch blazing the whole time, you're announcing your arrival well in advance.
or you can just not do that and leave the area. i’m not risking my life over that. people playing these voices to lure victims to kidnap or murder is a real thing that happens. i hear that in the middle of the night, i’m walking in the opposite direction

I used to live in Oregon. My sister loves the stars (and I love learning about the constellations from her, it's pretty cool), so my dad, my sister and I would often drive out to this specific spot on public land to see them. It was on a dirt road with no houses, pulled off to the side. If you live in Oregon or somewhere similar you'll know the kind of setup I'm talking about. We'd hang out with the car off, moonroof open so we could stick our heads out of it and look at the meteor shower or stars or whatever was happening that night. One night some guy in a truck with fake police lights chased us for about 10 miles. It was terrifying. My dad finally lost him, but I stayed up for a long time scared that the guy somehow knew where we lived. The woods are no joke.
At 3:04 just after Daniel says;“You’ve got to be able to hear that” a man far off yells; “Oi”, and after Daniel follows up with “There’s nobody here”. I know he’d probably have heard him, but I swear it’s clear as day a man yelling for his attention.
I work pretty frequently in forests of different vegetation density. It is crazy how close that someone can be to you, and you completely lose each other. We’ll both be tromping through the bush, and one of us gets held up on a branch for five seconds, and the person in front might as well be in a different continent. As long as they aren’t too far ahead, you can re-establish contact by raising your voice. But I’ve had times when we’ve literally been screaming at the top of our lungs to each other, only to have been no more than 10 metres apart. For those footsteps to be heard that clearly through the camera… yeah that person was walking RIGHT next to him, in the open.
I‘m from Germany and we have those bunkers everywhere in the woods. I can guarantee you that the „Hilfe“ (help) sprayed on the wall was made by teenagers exploring this bunker, I often went in those myself. Soldiers in the WII didn’t spray anything on walls of bunkers, they carved it into the walls with knifes. Also the peace sign on the ceiling of the tunnel is the same spray paint as the „Hilfe“
Thank you. I just commented on the same thing before finding your comment. I really don't like when the narration in these videos makes nonesense up to try to make things more creepy.
“Asks bizarre questions in French” , “admits she doesn’t speak French” so how do you know the questions are bizarre? Not that the man’ behaviour wasn’t. But yeah, call the police if you are that freaked out.
But what are the police going to do? You say “a guy is freaking me out” they’re not going to do anything they rarely do anything about repetitive stalking.
@@Kiley713 Oh, BS. A guy trying to get into a woman's van, blocking her in with his car, and hiding in the bushes when she tries to see him is absolutely going to get the police to visit. Unless you live in some third world country where the police don't care about actually protecting people.
About 2010 or so I was metal detecting near some old ruins in the woods, well off the side of the road where I was out of site of any passerby (I was about 50 years old at the time, and male). I was suddenly startled by an odd man who seemed to come out of nowhere. He began to walk closer to me, while talking and asking me about my metal detector. He was sort of thick around the middle, wearing a form fitting tight black sweat suit, and sneakers. It was odd to this getup near hiking trails. But the weird thing was his "walking stick". It was about a five foot long iron pipe, with the metal part of a wood chisel welded in the bottom. I was hoping it was just to get grip on icy patches, but it was scary looking. So was he. He was maybe 45 years old, with thin dyed black hair in bad comb over. Not at all a "woodsy" or hiking type of guy. He had beady black expressionless eyes, and was staring at me coldly while chatting, and getting closer and closer... I found myself backing up. I raised my metal detector horizontally to my waist level, and grasped it like a club. I tried to stare back at him and give him a hard expression and stared him in the eyes... trying to scare him back. He got really close... like inappropriately and unnecessarily close. Maybe a foot? He was right in my face. There was something really creepy about the guy, I got a really bad feeling from him. I was cold and unfriendly and answered his question in a montone, and kept the metal detector up like I could swing it at him if I needed too... he eventually left. Funny thing was, several weeks later I saw him ahead of me on a check out line with his wife. So I loudly said, "Hey how are you? I'm the guy you met at XXXXXXXX, I had a metal detector". He recognized me, I could tell, and seemed really nervous. He said he never went there, and I must have him mixed up with someone else. My guess he had a secret life, wandering around trails and stuff, trying to pick up guys. There are a few known places like that around our area, like a rest stop, another trail head, and a small park. They had to shut the rest stop down because it was overrun, and the visitors had "no discretion". If so, he was basically harmless, and just weird. And I know many will read this and think, "What's the big deal?"? Well I meet lots of people ALL the time, in all circumstances, either hiking, metal detecting, kayaking, whatever... probably many hundreds since I met him. And no problems, none at all. But I would swear THIS guy was up to something, and I'm glad I didn't find out what it was.
You told your story really well. Cheezsh it scared me, because I've been in the proximity of a guy like that. I also backed away, and edged my way back to the building's entrance. I do know that human predators (sociopaths), male and female, will get into a person's personal space--as you mentioned--about a foot away. The American comfort distance is about two feet away from a stranger. If someone unknown to you is in your space less than two feet, they want you to feel uncomfortable. It's also a grooming tactic to see what you'll do. Sounds like your hard, direct eye-gaze in return to his creepy stare, and your body-language with your metal detector, let him know you would not be an easy victim. I agree with you that he was very possibly trolling for more than a sexual encounter. You running into him later with his wife reminded me that Jack-the-Ripper was a married man, with a mistress as well.

@@SophieJackson1993 Wow, you really have never been camping or hunting, let alone had alot of time outdoors have you? You hear alot more creepier things than this, though it's almost always animals making the sounds or some squatter trying to scare you off to rob your crap.
The screaming in the snow is almost certainly from an animal. A bobcat or fox or something. The man yelling was likely another concerned individual yelling out thinking it was a person.
I don't buy the first one really. The footsteps sound too consistent, like they never sound like they're moving around. Never closer or further away, like it's an audio track of someone walking.
It's mindboggling to me that people will go into the wilderness without a weapon, especially alone. You should preferably have a firearm, but at the very, very least have a large knife or something.
My ex gf didn't get me when I said I just don't enjoy hiking alone. I never would, even with a firearm. Human, bear, mountain lion, etc, you have very little chances of surviving if you're being stalked like that and obviously they'd be from behind which gives little time to react. You gotta also take into consideration that there's over 500 unsolved interstate murders since 2017 I believe. Just because it doesn't always happen doesn't mean it can't.
1:28 hang on, listening on headphones I can tell you these "footsteps" are close, they are bassless, and they are not phasing, the sound isn't going up and down, meaning it's coming from a static point or a speaker, the chap obviously needs more subs and this rouse is the way he's doing it, you've just advertised his channel without knowing it, he must have a small speaker close by, I can also see that his other hand is missing when the sound starts, he could have started a device with his other hand, I call bogus.
13:48 sinister predator written all over it. He thought he was going to take advantage of her situation. I'd have called the police immediately if I was her.
the child yelling can be explained as a camping father son/daughter duo, in which the dad goes off to pee while the son/daughter is sleeping, then when he/she wakes up and does not find his/her dad, then yells at him, and in the morning they pack up and leave the camp site leaving it pristine, which explains why the uploader was not able to figure out the cause behind the screams the following day.
2:00 clearly staged, you can see through every single bush and tree, there's no way someone was crunching that loudly without literally being within his line of sight
Yes, the footsteps were way too loud. And they sound completely the same all the time. When he walks himself, you don't hear such loud footsteps. Probably just a Bluetooth speaker.
Right??? They said her path was "being blocked by him". But then "another campervan pulled in behind her"????? How did someone come in behind her if she was blocked in? Reverse that thing and get tf out of there!! If he stands behind your van, more fool him.
I don't care whether the featured encounters are real or not; these Caught on Camera lists are fantastic, and I appreciate how it's almost always new stories. Plus, there's something about CS' narration that adds an equally calm yet uncertain vibe to the whole thing. 🖤
The first video was fake. It was footsteps coming from his phone, you can even hear the footsteps sounding like its on very dry leafs, which wasnt anywhere around there, furthermore, it was constantly coming from the same spot, without sounding like it was getting closer or further away.
The first guy is English woodsman, he used to be one of my more favourite wild camping channels but occasionally he threw out a total click bait video, they were easy to spot because they'd be 5x his average viewership on his other ones

@@user-tt8lf3fv1yDepends on the context if you called the emergency line then yeah they'd come but depending on where you are it might take too long police response times can be pretty shitty in the states if you're not in a major city or even then the wrong neighborhood
@user-tt8lf3fv1y yes, they would. If you call 911, they come every time. It is extremely rare that they just don't show up, I have heard in really bad neighborhoods in a couple of larger cities, that they don't always show up at least right away. Especially if it isn't a life threatening situation. But if the call themselves or someone they believe are supposedly in a life threatening situation, the call is put on "priority," and any officers nearby get the call, and one or more units will show up depending on the call. As for the person that commented that they just won't show up, they are wrong. I've seen it myself several times, and have had to call them a couple of times. Hell, I got in trouble as a kid by calling 911 and hanging up. The police showed up at our house not long after

Damn… Thanks for the story

@@undrwrldsk8fred that’s a pretty ignorant thing to say. I was also left with a permanent disability following my accident and the last 12 years of my life have been significantly better than the first 30.
Once I recovered from my accident and realized I could go back to working in forestry I ended up going into support work as a career so I work with adults who have (in some cases) very profound disabilities and they generally live incredibly rich and fulfilling lives. My Disturbing Story:
Went camping with a mate in the woods one October.
Did those guys actually have dogs with them?

i was so ready to write the screams in the forest off as an animal, and it still could be. but there was no mistaking someone saying "where are you"
Like someone else commented, the screams are probably from an animal, but the other voice could be from someone else trying to look for the source of the noise
Why do you sleep in the woods?
Animals. Pumas and other wild cats sound like women being tortured. Heard it once and almost fainted from the sheer terror.

Just the clip you used is clearly fake…
The volume of the footsteps doesn’t change, they don’t get further away or closer…
It’s almost as though HE held his camera in his hand as he walked and then added that audio over this clip.
To me, that didn’t even sound like footsteps.

Creepy! Any murders in your area around that time?
I know what you mean friend, I’ve met all kinds of people….but there are those situations where the interaction is just sooooo off and so abnormal it sticks in your memory prominently
Not to be negative, but if you went back there now you might pick something up with your metal detector.

The traps on the trails are particularly sinister.
As a wise man once said: When you're in a forest at night you're ether completely alone or you're not Alone. Both are terrifying
Edit:
wow 100 likes? That's the most I've ever got before
Yep... It's always spooky unless you need the darkness to hide/for a specific advantage or something. Otherwise efffff that.
You're never alone
Don't worry, those likes mean absolutely nothing
77 likes now, & yes they do mean something they mean 77 people took the time to read your comment & hit the like button! Have a good 👍🏾
Completely alone would be lovely
I think the footage you use for the kid's voice in the woods actually makes that more chilling and terrifying
Blood curdling screams behind you house in the middle of the night.
Creepy guys stalking you and blocking you from leaving.
So none of these youtubers ever heard of 9-1-1?
@@user-tt8lf3fv1y no they would not. And not quickly on the chance they do
@@user-tt8lf3fv1yDepends on the context if you called the emergency line then yeah they'd come but depending on where you are it might take too long police response times can be pretty shitty in the states if you're not in a major city or even then the wrong neighborhood
@user-tt8lf3fv1y She's a woman, they'll show up.
The police showed up at our house not long after
Its the UK the police do nothing except chase those using the wrong pronouns 😂
That ‘female’ voice screaming in the woods sounds EXACTLY like my sister’s French bulldog😂
Omggggg that's exactly what it sounded like, a bulldog 😭
😂
why is female in quotes
@@Stormyyyy... Because it was just an animal of undetermined sex, not a human woman. Coyotes and foxes can both sound like that.
@@jasminecollins897 coyotes can sound horrifying
“Is that a badger” made me laugh 😂😂
Show us ya badger amber..
