I don’t usually comment on videos but I’ve been subscribed to Lydia for a longggg time and have stopped watching her for the past couple years. BUT, because of those “click bait” videos, i literally clicked them and watched them because of CURIOSITY, and ever since, I’ve been binge watching all her videos from this year! So personally, I am glad she uses those titles and I have now fallen in love again with Lydia’s content.
You keep saying you don't "save the world" with your job but, in times where we may feel too pressured, things may just be too much and everything seems dark, you gift us with an hour of PEACE. It is like that for me, I am pretty sure it is like that for the people who came out to see you, for the emotional lady who was there and for many others. The gift of Peace is priceless. That's one aspect of saving the world, Lydia.
This is how I feel about Lydia’s videos. It is absolutely true. We had to put our dearest cooker puppy to sleep last week and my grandpa recently died. These videos kept me dreaming and gave me peace, even if that was for an hour only.
As someone who recently purchased a home, I have a whole new respect for the evolution of your home and style. Have definitely purchased a few things that I couldn't imagine not working and coming to terms with that I just don't like certain trends and materials that are trendy or in at this moment. I would love one day to see her move out the middle island and all her wares on the shelves. Then, put in cozy lounges for her to come up and have her own retreat. Enjoy every second you have with that handsome horse you are blessed to ride. I just lost my heart horse that I've owned for 14 years to congestive heart failure. He passed away peacefully April 6th at 3 PM. The greatest gift was getting to watch him run and play. He was being his normal happy self. The University vet saw him cantering and said that there was literally no way of knowing he was in heart failure unless we had an echocardiogram done. Not a second goes by that I don't miss him. Thank GOD we have his brother to love on. And we just got the best news ever that he is still rideable even at the age of 26! Love on that sweet boy. Horses capture not only your heart but your soul. And it's worth all of the hard work and sacrifice!

I think it serves for new viewers, though. I don't even look at the titles, but people who never watched her content may get enticed by a title. It's a competitive industry and this is her job, it's normal to play around with things, imo.

I don't know exactly, but if you think about it, there are tons of TV series about things that one wouldn't think to be interesting (people hoarding stuff, people buying used stuff, etc.) and people watch them. She is right, though: if one follows her, one would know she is not going anywhere, she said it the previous video and she is doing work where she is. In general, not just for Lydia, I think people sometimes look for things to be unhappy about, when there is no need at all. I know it wasn't the intent of your comment, I am talking about people who went a bit beyond.

Click bait is not an opinion babes, it’s a fact! Selecting words that mislead is factual! Not an opinion! Nothing to do with whether it’s an innocent topic or not. Misleading can also happen in “innocent” topics. You could have titled it “moving out of my dressing room” but you didn’t. You purposely chose a misleading title. You can’t just say you only consider positive feedback! 😂 My take on click bait titles is that the influencer feels their content is not good, boring or they know people won’t find it interesting and therefore they choose to use misleading titles to entice viewers to click on their video.
You need to own the fact that a lot of loyal viewers did not appreciate the clickbait titles. Don’t assume that we didn’t watch the previous videos. We only see a snip it of your life FROM your videos. So when you title a video we are taking it as face value. It just diminishes the trust and what we have come to know from you and what we can expect from you. Please understand that many of us invest our precious time in various content and follow additional UA-camrs. Save the shocking titles for the people that actually are going though a real life difficulty or change.

I think it serves for new viewers, though. I don't even look at the titles, but people who never watched her content may get enticed by a title. It's a competitive industry and this is her job, it's normal to play around with things, imo.

@@mlaine2 I think people who may be interested in house content may be interested in that. Not necessarily to follow her life. I don't know exactly, but if you think about it, there are tons of TV series about things that one wouldn't think to be interesting (people hoarding stuff, people buying used stuff, etc.) and people watch them. She is right, though: if one follows her, one would know she is not going anywhere, she said it the previous video and she is doing work where she is.
In general, not just for Lydia, I think people sometimes look for things to be unhappy about, when there is no need at all. I know it wasn't the intent of your comment, I am talking about people who went a bit beyond.
@@loytoco New viewers or non viewers won’t necessarily care if she is moving… These types of weird title choices cheapen the level she claims to want for the channel. I felt like not watching the video because she has used the same tactic several times and I did know she wasn’t moving. It’s like honestly girl whyyy are you choosing these silly tactics. Makes me feel like she is losing followers interest and grasping at straws by going to these lengths.

If you feel like not following because she chooses to navigate the competition in a way that seems to work, while you want free entertainment delivered in a way that you judge appropriate even if it doesn't work for her you are free to do so, obviously. Do not forget that we are provided with FREE entertainment, though.

I love the color of your dressing room, it really looks beautiful. I never thought I was a green person but most of the woodwork in my home is sage green. I have a lot of trim, raised panels, crown molding, chair railing, bookcases and built ins. My favorite color is cranberry which looks beautiful with the sage.

Click bait is not an opinion babes, it’s a fact! Selecting words that mislead is factual! Not an opinion! Nothing to do with whether it’s an innocent topic or not. Misleading can also happen in “innocent” topics.
You could have titled it “moving out of my dressing room” but you didn’t. You purposely chose a misleading title. You can’t just say you only consider positive feedback! 😂
My take on click bait titles is that the influencer feels their content is not good, boring or they know people won’t find it interesting and therefore they choose to use misleading titles to entice viewers to click on their video.
I love seeing how excited your fans/friends get to see you and how lovely you are with each and every one.
You need to own the fact that a lot of loyal viewers did not appreciate the clickbait titles. Don’t assume that we didn’t watch the previous videos. We only see a snip it of your life FROM your videos. So when you title a video we are taking it as face value. It just diminishes the trust and what we have come to know from you and what we can expect from you. Please understand that many of us invest our precious time in various content and follow additional UA-camrs. Save the shocking titles for the people that actually are going though a real life difficulty or change.

On this occasion I think you should apologise and not justify. It was clickbait and it’s obnoxious to think people have the time and inclination to watch every video. I understand that your home should reflect your style. But, I feel the green there makes it look so dull. Might be tricky filming there since you do so many hauls and try on there. Not forgetting the beautiful reels that you do post on Instagram quite often. Maybe add some brightness by placing your accessories differently. Just a suggestion, though xxx

I’ve watched your previous videos and have been an avid follower since 2015 and was still misled by the “moving out” title because who knows maybe you did end up deciding to move out (also felt misled by previous titles in the previous videos but I let them slide)
By you taking that stance and saying what you’re saying, you’re pretty much gaslighting some of your core audience! It’s not a nice feeling.
