The Drop Squad - an elite force infused with the power of heavy electronic beats. They posses lasers made out of dubstep! Some say they are a menace to society. Others say they are just misunderstood. The Drop Squad themselves think they're a lot like Batman.
I remember seeing this during my dubstep phase and thinking this was the coolest fan-made music video ever.
Is dubstep still a thing? CAUSE I LOVE IT
we all had a dubstep phase, its refreshing seeing all these old videos about dubstep lol
I also had that phase but this video is still the coolest fan made music video ever made
I love dubstep for these kind of tracks and not the headbanger ones cos p sure those ruined it for us
Indeed I saw this back when it first came out on their channel and I used to watch them consistently 😂 the internet is ranken for granted for sure
Takes his sunglasses off and spontaneously gains an eye patch... Brilliant
Was that from the finger gun though that sam gives him?
7 years ago, younger me never realized this. Goddammit
@@1337blackmage Sam: "Hey, nice shades."
Body armor fails to stop 7.62x39, same gun bounces off of football gear.
@@KoishiVibin it's Drop Squad. They don't play by the rules.
Time Traveler: Wich year is it?
Some guy: Dupstep!!!
Time Traveler: Ah yes, 2011
I love this, actually. 10/10 actually funny. I still listen to dubstep today, and it has changed a LOT from back in 2011.

@@cyberspark5574 My man
Why is this so true😆
@EH your opinion, my friend. Enjoy what you like. Lol
Oh yeah, Corridor is responsible for this nostalgia attack.
For the longest time I thought Tom ska made this for some reason
middle school is all rushing back so fast
This song triggers so many memories
Same man
Same here. My middle school memories stick with these guys
I was 24. So you are probably still younger than I was when this video first came out.
I used to smoke weed and watch this back in the day
First we drop the bass, then we start dropping bodies...
+Just Some Guy with a Mustache Hello Jellal
TypingTeddy Me? Jellal? That's crazy talk.
Just Some Guy with a Mustache With a mustache.
Just Some Guy with a Mustache Sorry, you look a lot like him.
TypingTeddy It's okay. I get that a lot.
Hard to believe it's been 7 years o-o
Edit: 9 years!
Liyern are we that old? it brings me such good memories.. ffs. :s
Yeah we old
Yeah, this is around the time of Corridor's golden era. I wish they'd do more plain ol' awesome videos like this, full of fun effects. Their newer videos are a lot more serious, like something you'd see on TV.
The exact thing I was gonna comment :)
Ik
I remember seeing this 8 years ago as a twelve year old and thinking this is is the best video ever, honestly... not much has changed
Thinking? Ur a sinner. Everyone should KNOW from the age of 1 hour old
Ahh... The amount of nostalgia here is overwhelming. Back in the golden age of Dubstep, having just discovered it. The enthusiasm I had for this genre was unprecedented, it was all I wanted to listen to. It consumed me, I miss those days. Staying up until 3am working on tunes, only to wake up and work on them some more for another 4-8 hours. This is the sort of stuff that inspired me to do that, and why I ended up getting into it and having any sort of flicker of a career because of it. It genuinely feels like rekindling a childhood friendship. Thank you Corridor and Klaypex for being a part of my history and inspiration, and all of my peers in the Dubstep world! May we all live on and grow old together!
SubOxyde U make riddim?
That was randomly wholesome
Feels the same ❤️ those music are something that i can't explain it really feels attached to the souls ( eg: skrux, crywolf, klaypex )
Inspiring bro

Yo! Whose back after their 10 year renders video? I know I am and I am glad I came back. I loved this video back when I first saw it and it is still cool
Same. I remember being in college when my friend showed me this. I didn’t know who Corridor was at the time and didn’t realize it was them until watching their video today!
Sadly I didn't see it for the first time till 2015 but I revisit it all the time glad they remind me of it's existence
That little clap Niko does at 1:18 is the COOLEST PART by far.

Honestly, this could not have been done better. I absolutely loved each selection of music, and using Chinter's Will for the last attack was a brilliant move. Especially that part, the part that radiates the most... power, if you will.

the music should come out of the weapons, not from the video itself. So it could have been done better.

They make them themselves.

I still come back to the masterpiece every once in a while. Even after all these years.
It's time to come back to this video
Their videos man. They're always so goddamn creative, I love it.
Honestly, the best content on UA-cam!
i remember watching this 10 years ago and being like "holy SHIT this is amazing the story telling, the visuals everything this is a masterpiece!!", im glad it hasnt changed.
man i come back to this every few months and i always forget how happy this video makes me, 2011-2013 were such good years for music and youtube
Heard a Klaypex song from out of nowhere while driving. I could not get home fast enough to watch this again for the first time in 12 years
I like to think their guns just causes major internal bleeding rather than puncture wounds
based on science this would probably be the case if they did use a weapon that used Dubstep (or any other kind of soundwave). because if its powerful enough it starts vibrating the internal organs, this could cause internal bleeding or irregular heartbeat/breathing which could cause death
System_Demon shut up
That guy You don't know Why? Because he knows stuff that you don't understand?
System_Demon but then it would just be a shockwave and not dubstep...
hay oh 1:38 says otherwise

This remains to be my favorite Corridor Digital video ever.
I want a remake-sequel to this now that your talents and abilities have evolved over the last 7 years.
That would be great
I think they're currently making a sequel
@@DougSalad Correction, they will only do a sequel if they get enough support. They now have a system where those with paid memberships can "vote" on proposed projects on their website. Dubstep Guns 2 is one of them. So there are no guarantees that enough people will vote for it.

This was recommended, THANKS UA-cam, I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS VIDEO.
I wouldn't really say Saints Row IV stole the dubstep gun, just think of it as an Easter egg referencing Corridor Digital
True , Saints row didnt steal the dupstep gun idea from C.D. its not a crime its a benefit for both sides ... free advertisement.for both of them
Ah, good old school dubstep
reminds me of saints row IV with the dubstep guns
or garry's mod lol
only this was before saintsrow 4
Saints row, and worms WMD's dubstep guns were inspired by this video.
I_Care_Brad Wrong. The Dubstep gun was also in Saints Row 3 which was released 2 years before that video.
saints row 3 wasnt 2 years before this video lol
Anytime I come back to this video years after years its like a time machine each time. I remember what was going on in my life when this video came out. How time flies.
I remember watching this back in middle school, and now I’m wondering how much fun you guys had with the visual effects and such. I could honestly watch this shit for hours.
Does anyone remember the dubstep gun from Saints Row????
Yes and it was awesome
Yh bro same thing legit

Remember when dubstep was a thing? Crazy.
Sarah It still is.
Sarah It still is.
Or, EDM is still a massive thing.
In fact, it's growing.
I remember reading a News article about how the BBC were going to make a EDM specific radio station.
that tea drinking top hat tipping British man dubstep =/= EDM no no no nooo
Vedo Majka Dubstep is an EDM Genre, for you information.
Imagine a tree, EDM is the trunk of said tree. Drumstep, DnB, RnB dubstep, house, deep house, etc are all the branches of the tree.
They're sub genres within EDM, and EDM is the big main genre.
So yes, Dubstep is EDM.
It is now bach

#1 rule of villains;
Either get an eyepatch or do something really evil.
