    It's the extra detail, like how to remove each clip, that sets these videos apart. The most informative and well presented videos of their kind on youtube. Thank you.

      Much appreciated, thank you. I try to think just what detail people need to know when fixing stuff, but it's not always straight forward to get the best footage :-)

      Great to hear you are a long term fabia user, have you had any difficult to fix issues with it at all? :-)

      No, because the only thing that broke was my waterresevoir for the screenwhipers. My daughter and I, bought a Skoda, and she has more than 350.000 km on the teller.

    Great little guide, thanks. Looks doable for a novice car mechanic like me :) Would it be exactly the same for the nearside mirror? My missus has just left Tesco car park minus half of her nearside mirror.

    • @HatBoyHarvey
      @HatBoyHarvey  3 роки тому

      I believe that on some early models and European cars have a smaller nearside mirror, should fit the same, worth a check before ordering :-)

      @@HatBoyHarvey Thank mate. I've sourced a replacement from the exact same model so should be fine. Thanks for coming back to me.

    Like. How do you replace the glass from the mirror body?

    • @HatBoyHarvey
      @HatBoyHarvey  4 роки тому +1

      I will cover that in another upcoming video. I would advise you only do that when it is broken as removing it can often put too much pressure on the glass to break it. You have to be very carful. Can be done though :-)

    Hi I have a question. Are the wind mirrors of different size? I am buying a Fabia MK1 2005 and the passenger wind mirror is smaller than the driver's mirror. If they are, that will be so weird but I just want to check.

    • @HatBoyHarvey
      @HatBoyHarvey  3 роки тому

      Mine are the same size in the UK. approx 170mm wide. I believe early models had the dinky odd mirrors and European cars have too. You could probably change to a larger size one easy enough if you prefer :-)

      Yep, it is a pain and will have to get it fixed. I tested it and it leaks from the seal on the front edge ;-/
