For the power button issue - 1) i'd check that you have a good connector - after all the fan connector was ripped off it's easily possible the connector for the power button is also damaged, 2) i'd be checking there is voltage on that power button and that it drops down to 0v when you press it.

I know this is random, but watching your videos over the last few days gave me the confidence to remove my first ribbon cable today! I've always been terrified of breaking the little pins that hold the ribbon cables on consoles I'm working on, so I've always just carefully worked around them and not removed them. Watching you work under a microscope gave me a clear view of how to actually do it properly. I'm now one step closer to being completely self sufficient in my console repairs, so thank you so much.

Them onboard fan connectors are terrible. I had to do the exact same fix, and it was more solid than the original. I'm glad to see you're still making videos and doing well 👍
Did you check the ribbon cable connecting the power circuit to the board? From my experience it could have extremely tiny damages and they do burn out a lot. Not always obvious to see worth checking under the microscope.
