@@mrmarr8308 Buddy has to make a living. Even if he's trying to heal from his aliments. If you broke your leg, you'd have to somehow make money while recovering wouldn't you?
Just wanted to let you know you're an inspiration. My toddler daughter is enthralled with your videos. I can have a few options on screen that she likes and she'll pick "tawninks fiks" evertime. It's also helping me build the courage to pick up a soldering iron for the first time. We're hope you'll beat this cancer soon so we can keep learning from ya.
me and my grandpa used to watch your eBay repair challenge vids. he passed away from COPD early 2023. I come back to your channel and see you’re going through hardships of your own, and it prompts me to say I hope for the best health for you. thank you for giving me ever lasting memories of my grandpa. i hope life is good to you Steve, much love💙
Such a peaceful channel to watch at bedtime the past few months. I'm not much into tech in the way that you are, but there's something so satisfying about watching tech repairs. I hope your treatment has been going well, I'm rooting for you and thanks for the quality content!
I'm completely on this train. I watch all these repairs knowing I will never attempt anything close and have nowhere near the skill. Just is interesting to see the testing and issues/non-issues.
I just saw your update, I'm glad to hear you are in remission. Recently a youtuber by the name on Mitten Squad passed away and I really didn't want to say goodbye to someone else so soon. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you feel like your old self soon.
Just saw the post on your website, very glad to hear that you are in remission now! Hope this last treatment goes well for you, wishing you all the best!
Love your videos man your videos inspired me to become familiar with opening/cleaning/repairing gaming consoles/controllers, i have a very large console collection and keeping them clean from the inside and being familiar with what im doing is great. The most intense repair ive done was repairing a ds with a bad bumper and a broken bottom screen i was able to get a cheap non working ds for $5 and repairs my ds using all the parts from the $5 non working ds. Ive had some really nice come ups being able to repair controllers. Just worked on ps5 controller for my friend that had pop spilled and the touch pad was stuck, my friend had no idea how to open the controller and wasn't willing to do it himself, it took me 5 mins to disassemble clean the pop off and put it back together.
We appreciate you still coming to the stage for vids, my mom died in feb from chemotherapy (pancreatic cancer) but ive seen what yall go through. Keep healthy biggie cheese
I hope you are healing my friend. Love the videos. They inspire me to learn more about electronics. Thank you and I will pray for your better health in the future.
I know your at a rough stage of chemotherapy. You're doing great things off screen I know, and it's commendable that you are also keeping up a publishing schedule. Thank you for hanging in there.
Steve, I say this with the utmost sincerity, thank you for your videos. It overwhelms me to see you fighting and making your recovery but continuing to make these videos with the same genuine attitude and care that we've all come to appreciate. May Allah bless you and grant you a swift recovery
Hi . Hope you are getting better. Hurts to see you like this. But I know you will go through. Rest , and heal. Take care and keep on fighting. You are an inspiration
Me and my son pray for you. We have been watching your videos pretty much since you started. Stay strong king of fixes. Hugs and I know you will come out of this situation 🎉
ive gotten so hyperfixated on tech repair videos lately, and this channel has scratched that itch perfectly for me! im hoping to get to a point that i can feel confident doing electronic repairs myself. thanks for the content and i hope your recovery continues to go well! :)
Just wanted to say thanks for all your videos! A few weeks ago my husband was going to pay to get his phone usb port replaced because he thought it was broken, but thanks to watching many hours of your content I felt confident enough to take a look, convinced him to let me at it, and it was the worlds grossest usb-c port, so dirty. I cleaned it out and saved him some money, without your video's I wouldn't have felt confident enough to even touch it AND I now get to swagger around the house flexing about my 'skills' :D
Im so grateful having someone teaching us how to do diys but im sad to hear and see you like that hope you getwell soon brother. You help so many people with gaming console problem. Praying for your fast recovery 🙏
Just read up about what’s going on. Just want to say you and your videos mean a lot to me. I appreciate all you do and I hope you recover quickly. Much love!
Much respect to you Steve for keeping on with the videos during this hard time. I'm also battling some health issues the past two years. I hope for great healing for you.
I'm not even sure how I ended up watching your channel... but it's become a staple in my UA-cam routine!! Thank you! I wish for your healing!! I'd like to watch you fix a quantum switch one day!😁 absolute best wishes for you and yours!!
Thank you. Thank you for taking time out of your day, using your time and energy, to make entertainment for us. Thank you for sharing it on a format like UA-cam where we can just casually watch. Thank you for reminding us that even with life smacks you in the face, you can still do the things you love. You're an inspiration!

I find your videos so motivational and empowering. I am praying for healing for you. Stay strong, I know you are going to come out of this stronger than ever. We are all in your corner.
Always a treat to watch these videos, did you see the one where someone drills throu a Switch and it stays on? it was a water drill, he was trying to carve a triforce, the switch held on with the hole and everything, but finally powered off, I think not because of the hole and missing chunk but most likely because water got inside and caused a short
I'm glad you are still here making these videos. I've been watching you since almost the beginning of your channel and I hope you have the opportunity to make more for years to come. Take care Steve and thank you for everything
hey tronics, i`m from Brazil, I watch your videos since 2018... i have learn a lot with you, you are a wizard xD I can't imagine how strong you are, I hope you win this battle and continue to teach many other people, you are not alone, thank you! Hello tronix, I never use to comment but I watch every video since a couple of years!. And I just wanted to ask: how’s your health condition going? Are you getting better? I hope you do brother, a big hug from Chile❤

hope you get well soon! appreciate you keep a positive attitude throughout your videos even though the effects of your treatment have got to be very tasking on you.
I'm extremely happy to see you again and seeing you repair a switch again! It's very funny to think that switch was in a fire but managed to survive with relatively little damage.
Had a house fire myself last year and had all 3 of my switches in there. Recovered them afterwards and I was so happy they still worked. Definitely did some cleaning on the though
Stay strong man. We love your channel and we appreciate you. No matter what happens, you will always leave your mark on this world. I would say just keep up your work and have fun with this Channel and make that mark even more Unforgettable
You've been doing some repairs of electronics that have been in housefires You should create a playlist for those at this point, Steve 😂😂😂😂😂 Hope you're doing great pal Wishing you a speedy recovery as always and do keep these coming 🐧
One thing that might help clean small ports like the USB-C on the switch is a cleaning card for ID badge printers. They usually come soaked in IPA for running through the printers, but are very thin and flexible, and I've taken some used ones from work and cut them down for cleaning various things. You can double up on them for a thicker card which is good for cartridge connectors as well.
Love the videos keep them coming. I've been able to fix systems on my own because I've been watching your videos. People are surprised when I do it. You make it look so easy and explain in such great detail that I don't fear fixing broken electronics.
Went to walmart the other day and saw a few ifixit tool kits on the shelves for sale and instantly thought of you man. Hope things are going good for you.
First video I’ve watched since the start of your treatment. I hope everything is going well, our thoughts and prayers are with you! Great video as always!
How are you feeling? Are you doing okay? I know sometimes people put on a brave face for youtube but I do hope everything is going okay. Best of luck with everything. still loving all the content. great work. Fight on!
Glad to see you doing well. a lot of "house fire" damage isnt really due to the smoke (really sooty damage could have carbon deposits on it) but most of the damage comes from the firefighters putting out the fire. 95% of the time they just use just plain old water but depending on the type of fire they could mix some fire smothering chemicals in with the water which is why you're seeing so much corrosion.
Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve seen one of your videos. Thank you very much for your amazing content over the years and for still making videos through this battle. I lost my grand father to cancer in 2019.
