This is BRILLIANT! After just three days (five times a day), I’m feeling the improvement lasting longer. I think this may be the answer to my bouts of lower back pain. THANKS Will 👍.
This one is really good . On holiday with achy, tight lower back from too much sitting around . One session of this stretch and i feel brand new and have just been for a 5 mile run . Brilliant
Have recently found this channel and I have to say, even though I exercise 4-6 times a week, this channel is incredibly helpful, and a lot of the exercises are something that personal trainers don't tell you. I'll be ordering your book too😊
Excellent Video...I have been suffering for a long time with this. Tried everything and nothing works. This exercise makes total sense. I'll try it. Thank You so much.
Thank you so much for the explanation & fine-tuning of this exercise. I have tried it from another source, but without the bit about activating the glutes & tilting the pelvis back, it didn't do very much for me.
It was quite the experience to try this morning as I try to watch one video related to pain/A&P/massage techniques first thing in the morning. The glutes activation stretch provided immediate results! Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge doc.
Good job I am wachting from America Tampa Florida This is my first time to came across your channel And I like the way you explain things for us to understand And your good English Language for us Thank very much Almighty God continue to bless you and give you more and more knowledge in Jesus name.
Will, thank you for your videos. Very informative, concise and clear! I always hear that a high degree of back extension and thus of anterior tilt are required for a good sitting (and dead lifting) posture. How can this statement be reconciled with the negative symptoms of anterior tilt? Thank you in advance for your input!
Amazing, thanks a lot Will! I was hoping you would do a video on that topic at some point. Here it is! :) Great demonstration as well, it's cool to see you at the gym. One question please: I read somewhere on the internet that an anterior pelvic tilt can refrain one to kick higher (in martial arts I mean) because of the femur's head conflicting with the pelvis because of the latter's anterior tilt. (it's probably more technical than that, but this is basically how I remember it) Do you know if that's true please? Anyway, thanks for the tip; fixing my anterior tilt is something i have been working on lately so this new advice is right on time! :) Cheers.
Hi Will…important info with balletic demo…good to hear a full description of the consequences of ignoring the tilt angularity until the situation becomes problematic…we in NYC refer to this condition as bubble butt…
Mr. Will, my pelvis tilt is on my left hip because my right leg has a foot drop following a Lumbar spinal surgery due to a major car accident. I tend to bend toward the right thus the left hip protrudes to the left. Even when I sit my body tends to slide [bend] towards the right. Can this be considered as a Anterior Pelvic Tilt or Lateral Pelvic Tilt?
2 years Sir I have been suffering chronic lumbar paraspinal muscle spasm and sciatica and I don't have pain my side leg but I have weakness in my side leg any solution Sir for Chronic lumbar paraspinal muscle spasm

Should any preventative adjustments or pillows be used to change the spine position when you’re sitting all day?

Is there any exercise to fix this pelvic tilt that does not require kneeling on the knee? I NEED to fix this but cannot kneel due to bad knees.
Yes, please. Same here.
I just posted the same question.
Thanks for this exercise. But what do people with knee issues should do?

Thanks for the kind words and hope it helps! I can understand the reasoning behind the claim, although I don't have much martial arts experience!
@@HT-Physio Thanks Will!
Can you do a video for a higher right sided pelvis due to R sided foot going inwards from a facture?
Any options for people with osteoporosis?
We've called it a "sway back". "Duck bottom"! That's cute! Of course you're on the other side of both hemispheres, and have other names! 😊
Is there a way to fix the tilt without one knee on the floor? Very hard on my fragile knee !

Which exercise for the back bend? plz
Is this stretch suitable for sciatica ?
Any alternative for post hip replacement? I've had both done in past year and relying on crutches before and after has played havoc with pelvic tilt.
Sir how to cure Chronic lumbar paraspinal muscle spasm sir😥
Always thought I had a plus size booty so I never wanted to do glute exercises. The opposite of what I should be doing to fix the problem.
