Also keep in mind that CarnisHunter might have been an alt for one of the devs of the model, which explains the absentness after the debate ended.
That was definitely interesting. Good job on this. I like how a game’s community can come up with all kinds of cool theories and spread rumors/creepypastas that become part of a game’s mythos. Brings me back to when I was in middle school and would argue with my friends about how they were wrong and that Herobrine was a part of the game🤣. I recently started playing the free mobile versions of Carnivores. So far they’re fun for the most part. The graphics are pretty dated and there’s a lot of pop in. But, fortunately I’ve never really been bothered by things being low poly. In fact I actually like it when something has “bad graphics” because it gives the thing a certain charm (at least as long as the art style looks good. If it’s super ugly then it just drags down the experience). I really liked how even though the first map has a varied landscape with multiple small biomes you’d realistically expect to see within a certain geographical/climatic area. I really should get the computer version so I can enjoy the cool mods. Something I’d love to see, but know the chances of it happening are basically zero would be for a mostly faithful remake that includes the best modded/fan content to better flesh out the game and make it feel more alive. If they also included stuff like a day and night cycles, animals moving in herds/packs, animals hunting each other, some degree of sexual dimorphism in the animals, and other things like that to make the ecosystems feel like a living breathing world. If we also got some community driven lore like the Ghouls and other creepypastas that appear as Easter eggs it would be the perfect game. It would definitely be interesting to see what the dinosaurs would look like if they took the purposely outdated designs and made them more detailed.
@@BackToBackJames I watched this stuff for entertainment only and am not into community so don't know what is available or what was already done, but afaik there are two ways how to have data be in game, while not having it outside. One of the simplest way's is just to have it in exe itself, but that could be easily checked with some sort of softs that allow to see that junk in there. Other way would be to write it in the code directly, it would take a lot more effort as coding soft is not designed to do that. Probably special, for this case only, software would need to be made. It wouldn't be that hard to achieve that, but extra work would need to be done. Afaik with out access to source code, original or reverse engineered, it would be fairly hard to find that.
The idea IS really cool but it's made by the fans, not actually in game. I still find it commendable how the community came up with the game's own staple urban legend

I know. I also joke about it being real. Hence my posts about it on the subreddit. This video was just me taking a look at the ARG meta aspect itself as Jvrius already has his creepy ghoul video.
Strange, because I heard that the ghoul exists only in specific copies of the game which don't even exist anywhere in the internet, apparently these copies do have a real time clock which in a specific time the ghoul shows up,but still shows up rarely.
Yeah, remember watching that original video. I don't know anything about carnivore but everything just seemed so fake and oddly convenient for the story lmao

There's no Wendigo

The wendigo is basically the same as the ghoul but no ARG, just a myth that got modded into the game

I think the Delphaeus Hills Ghoul was a stunt to promote the mod of the same name, maybe as an lore establisher before the mod came out.
Maybe the ghoul is the friends we made along the way.
Nah, for real: it's fake, but I'm gonna belive in the Ghoul till I think its real just for fun.
not a ghoul believer, but you can hard code in textures, sounds and models.
