The iconic picture of the ghoul is honestly so terrifying like imagine being one of the first people to see the ghoul before it was posted on the internet, you’d think your game was haunted.
To be honest, even though the image is fake, it looks like it is actually a creature in the game as maybe an april fools or halloween update, or as an actual haunted copy of the game
Honestly this whole ghoulish (if unlikely) story makes me wish even more that someday this franchise gets to a company with the resources and interest to really go to town with all the vague lore, semi-retro design motif, and Easter egg goodness that Carnivores has become known for (well, as much as it *is* known). Don't get me wrong, the current HD team is trying to listen to the fans and I love it, but I just don't see them being able to create that vision any time soon.
That’s why they should just open the game up for modding. the community would make the new carnivores everything that you asked for and then some. The base game is great. It feels like Carnivores and that’s the biggest first step. But it’s so lacking in content and the community could easily deliver that. But I agree with you, I wish the dev team would just develop it themselves. They could literally rake in the cash. Even with the smaller community around this series. 15,000+ people (just Saurians subscriber count) paying $4-$5 for each DLC = a buttfook load of money. But that’s only IF the DLC is worth it. Their first DLC was terrible and the definition of lazy. The animals didn’t even have any weak spots, were totally imbalanced, poorly animated and the models were just unity assets. Terribly disappointing.
I really wouldn't say the current team is trying all too hard, they never even bothered to add a dinosaur they literally promised as a competition result and already had partially made.
I always felt what people interpreted as a mohawk or mane on the ghoul was tree behind it and that the only reason some one would interpret it as part of the ghoul is the quality of the image. Nice model though and definitely fitting of Halloween.
The thing I love the most about the Delphaeus Hills Ghouls is that we now have a new era of mystery to the games we play, like Missingno from Pokemon! It's something I feared we would never experience again.
It's great to have you back again covering the original games and mods. This is a fun video to watch, and it's unique to see the changes you did regarding presenting your logo for both the opening and closing credits.
Random lil fact: I just realized that the ghoul's idle roar (not the one when it sees the player), is the same sound file as a Barotrauma's creature called "Charybdis", which means that whoever made the ghoul knows Barotrauma, which means that I hella love this mod
I'm a huge fan of the ghoul and its story and impact. It's fun that Carnivores has managed to gain its own decently well known urban legend, and that what started as a silly iceberg entry now has players wondering whether it really exists. Who knows, maybe it just might be hiding somewhere out there, waiting for its next victim on the secluded island. Love the mod, too. It looks like a creature that actually fits in the game, especially since we have the Yeti in Ice Age.

Now, see, I'd like to think the Delphaeus Ghoul, Yeti, and the Ancients are all related. My personal assumption of the Ancients is that they looked like Dale Russel's "Dinosauroid", given how the series' running themes is using old, out-dated paleo-art designs for it's creatures. The Dinosauroid itself is eerily human-like, but still retains much of it's saurian-qualities of it's ancestors (aka, 1980s reconstruction of Troodontids). The Yeti of FMM-UV32 have dinosaur-esque, 3-toed feet, as well as seemingly possessing clawed hands on it's forelimbs. Same with the Delphaeus Hills Ghoul, while also retaining the previously mentioned saurian-qualities. The white-fur of the Yeti could just be a fluffy down of proto-feathers. It and the Ghoul are the only remaining relatives left of the Ancients, and the Ancients themselves? Well, who can really say, for all we know they could be right there, watching you as you hunt, and you'd never know...
Hmmm. Judging from all of the old dinosaur designs, and well, dinosaurs, I think there was some sort of time rift or something, causing there to be dinosaurs. I always thought the ancients were humans, or some sort of other hominid. Maybe Dinohunt corp created false ancient structures for attention? We will probably never know, and I kinda hope we never know. It keeps mystery in the games.

Very Spooky Saurian
Thank you, Carl’scroissant!
bruh now im kinda worried to play this game, but honestly, but i would try this mod, anyway is it a creature or a dinosaur?
No idea might be some reptilian creature from the looks of it
Today i started to play Triassic for first time man it's fun
Months ago I thought that the teeth were it’s eyes
So they made the story a mod?
eyo my man Saurian Target a Gravity Falls fan? 😎
Ooohhh yeah! 😎 Can’t get enough Gravity Falls! 😁 I even based some of the alien creatures in my own Carnivores mod off the security droids Dipper and Ford find in the crashed alien ship!
The Ghoul is Such a cool concept and so mysterious! But whats it’s origin? Did it come from planet FMM UV-32? Or is the Ghoul an experiment from Dino Hunt Corp, or Maybe It’s From A Different planet? Who Knows... the mystery of the Delphaeus Hills Ghoul...
Such a fun mystery! 😁
@@SaurianTarget Thx
@@SaurianTarget I Think It’s An Experiment That Dino Hunt Corp Wanted To Keep Secret, But It Tragically Escaped
Ah yes!
Wa wa wa wa wa wa
Scary!
That’s fantastic! Saurian Target, what do you personally believe about the ghoul? Do you think it’s real and hardcoded into the game or was it just a scary story that someone made a model for and screenshotted? I personally lean towards the first option. What do you think?
Considering the original uploaded is not well known within the community for modding and we’ve never seen the model since… it does make you wonder… 👀
Please saurian target plz tall how do download carnivorous 2 and also talk in hind not in english
I don’t know how to speak Hindi
Can you still get carnivores 2 or ice age on pc in 2022?
Yes, I have a video called “How to download Carnivores games and mods,” and in the description of that video are download links for all the original games
To be honest this design is pretty diferent from the delphaeus hills ghoul on the creepypasta image
Can you please make a Carnivores iceberg please.
Probably not. Iceberg videos aren’t really my thing
