It's beautiful to see the way their music can effect some people that have never heard it. I've gotten a few friends to fall in love with them as well. Keep up the good work.
I went to one of their concerts last year in Minneapolis and it was incredible. Schism is my favorite song by them and I was lucky that they played it at the concert I went to. It was an amazing experience. I was 13 at the time, so it was only the 2nd concert I went to, but I already know that's one of the best concerts I'll ever go to.

Love 💘 TOOL. one of my 3 favorite bands. Pink Floyd, Eminem and TOOL. 3 totally different genres of music that's how much I love music. All music. Honestly seen over 40 bands in concert. Love seeing people turned on to new music.
schism ˈs(k)izəm/ noun a split or division between strongly opposed sections or parties, caused by differences in opinion or belief. synonyms:division, split, rift, breach, rupture, break, separation, severance; More the formal separation of a church into two churches or the secession of a group owing to doctrinal and other differences.
Bro i like how you said "communication is key to any relationship, weather its romantic or platonic." And later in the song it says: "between supposed lovers. Between supposed brothers.." You're right on point homi3!
I don't want to start a debate but Opeth really covers a larger musical territory than Tool. Coming from listening to Opeth non stop for 15 months, Tool is a little bit dry. I love some tracks from Lateralus, but Aenima is like eating sand, it's so dry compared to Opeth
Strictly musically speaking I agree with Opeth expanding to a larger range than Tool, although I think Tool's content is far wider. I love both of them.
I don't know, Opeth has 12 albums that cover like 5 subgenres. Tool has 4 official albums. I'm trying to tell myself "it's just an opinion", but we're entering the realm of fact right here. Why do you mean by "wider content"? Maybe lyrics?
Schism is the groundwork for spiritual awakening. This song is about how we have forgotten who we are and how we don’t communicate with our higher self. The body is the temple and you are the light which is eternal. I love your reactions...Keep it up! Peace...
@@turdferguson3803 hmm there is something to say though about them being their own genre. I don't like progressive metal or almost any kind of metal at all but I love tool.... They are at least the strange duck in the nest.
@@abroZ13 You may not like other progressive metal bands but Tool is still progressive metal. I'll admit they dound very unique and hsce their own style, but so do a lot of other great bands. That doesn't make them their own genre.
Holy cripe! LOL I never thought about this as a breakup song. Listening to it now and piecing the lyrics together makes that seem SUPER plausible! Very keen observation, man!
Tool are masters of each instrument playing simultaneous complementary different time signatures, and smoothly transitioning time signatures throughout each song. They bring a whole new complexity and style to progressive rock.

Tool to me, is one of those bands you just have to sit down and just listen and absorb what you're hearing from the start of the album to the end. You have to take in the whole album to really appreciate what they can do. It's incredible. I never thought 4 humans could play instruments that meld that seamlessly and intertwine together as one fluid juggernaut. I love how alot of thier songs just meld together on Lateralus.
I too am a loyal and proud disciple of Tool! I will never forget my first exposure, in the living room of my house and it was Aenima! I was shocked by what I was hearing, Stinkfist! I was in the record store and I asked the guy for something different and he immediately recommended them. I wouldn't be the same person without them.
Who's better on putting details on their songs now days? I don't really know, you got the question of the million dollars man. Cheers to you my friend, love your channel.

This...
BRO I am so glad you put the headphones on, now pay attention to all of the details and you'll notice e they love to play around with the sounds going around your head and left to right and stuff like that! Keep up this awesome channel I love when you do TOOL songs!!
Aenema, stinkfist, eulogy, porabola all these need to be next
Love 💘 TOOL. one of my 3 favorite bands. Pink Floyd, Eminem and TOOL. 3 totally different genres of music that's how much I love music. All music. Honestly seen over 40 bands in concert. Love seeing people turned on to new music.
schism
ˈs(k)izəm/
noun
a split or division between strongly opposed sections or parties, caused by differences in opinion or belief.
synonyms:division, split, rift, breach, rupture, break, separation, severance; More
the formal separation of a church into two churches or the secession of a group owing to doctrinal and other differences.
Seeing them live is an expirience. They put on a performance like no other.
Love these! Try some Nine Inch Nails. Trent is also very meticulous with detail.
I second this recommendation!!
Mmmmmmm yeah
Bro i like how you said "communication is key to any relationship, weather its romantic or platonic." And later in the song it says: "between supposed lovers. Between supposed brothers.."
You're right on point homi3!
OPETH
"Deliverance"
the outro will put you in a trance.
Such a phenomenal band. Masters of music.
I don't want to start a debate but Opeth really covers a larger musical territory than Tool.
Coming from listening to Opeth non stop for 15 months, Tool is a little bit dry.
I love some tracks from Lateralus, but Aenima is like eating sand, it's so dry compared to Opeth
black star - Or Harlequin Forest. You could pick any Ghost Reveries song and it’s a winner.
Great reaction to one of the best TOOL songs . I’ve heard this many many times and it still send chills down my spine and gives me goosebumps
It’s a “cosmic breakup” song, it is layered and relatable to any level of relationships.
Bro...
Schism is the groundwork for spiritual awakening. This song is about how we have forgotten who we are and how we don’t communicate with our higher self. The body is the temple and you are the light which is eternal. I love your reactions...Keep it up! Peace...
First here!!! You gotta do some old school tool - Aenima or Eulogy or Prison Sex or Intolerance or Jerk Off!! They are all awesome!!
Devon Roland Eulogy's good. I heard it's about the founder of Scientology. Not sure if that's true though.
Amanda W. That is correct! It’s about L. Ron Hubbard
Finally bro...
I'm on the intro, and I'm so excited. Lol
My fav Tool song.
Thank you
You ask who is better than Tool ... this is a simple answer NO ONE.
@@letters5002 No they aren't, they're progressive metal lol.
Chevelle totally doesnt fit in the same catagory
Maynard = god
Alice in Chains Would bro 🙏🙏🙏🙏
His lyrics are above and beyond
Bro I could see you were thinking about that girl...your eyes got wet a little.
Love your reactions dude
Tool are masters of each instrument playing simultaneous complementary different time signatures, and smoothly transitioning time signatures throughout each song. They bring a whole new complexity and style to progressive rock.
tool has some of the most complex lyrics around
Brother I didn't know you till 830 in the morning today I spent all day building walls in a office building and playing your reaction to tool songs.im a OGT since 94 and they are my favorite band.im 38.so it was entertaining all day listening to tool and see you discover the best band in the world...and just think ...you still haven't heard there best work yet.ive seen tool 11 times live and it's a memory you will never forget.hit me up brother
Tool- Stinkfist. Also, another band with a crazy level of detail (in a different way) is Dave Matthews Band. Check them out
(o) (o) wtf
Tool to me, is one of those bands you just have to sit down and just listen and absorb what you're hearing from the start of the album to the end. You have to take in the whole album to really appreciate what they can do. It's incredible. I never thought 4 humans could play instruments that meld that seamlessly and intertwine together as one fluid juggernaut. I love how alot of thier songs just meld together on Lateralus.
I wonder if Maynard has seen any of your videos. I think he would be very pleased with your deep understanding.
Brings my heart so much joy to see you react to these artists! So much good music out here bruh.
Love this! Tool is my all time favorite. Another is pink Floyd. I think you'd dig comfortably numb by them. You should definitely check them out.
Amanda Clemons live pulse version
Comfortably numb is amazing
I am pretty sure you ae a musical genius!!! When you get goosebumps, you rewind...that is really feeling the music!!!!
Please do Judith from A perfect circle!! You will love this one
Never clicked so fast
Me too lol
Same lmao
Replicant-Will same here man!
Watching you experience and like my favorite songs makes them almost new again for me.
Tool "Aenima" or "Pushit". I promise you will not be disappointed
You said it amazingly. " Their instrumentals touches the soul" beautiful bro.
Katatonia - My Twin
Who's better on putting details on their songs now days?
I don't really know, you got the question of the million dollars man.
Cheers to you my friend, love your channel.
Parabol/Parabola - Watch the video, pay attention to the last two minutes.
Great reaction. This is one of my favorite Tool songs to play. I feel you get a different kind of appreciation for the music after you learn to play it!
