Agreed. It's been a fantastic ride so far. I 100% completed Fallen Order in 32 hours (over 4~5 days), and then immediately got Survivor. Getting the poncho was damn well worth the effort!
@@CtrlAlexDel Exactly. My only complaint is when there's a lot going on in an area to cause some lag, and the cutscenes not matching gameplay framerate. Other than that, great
was going to buy this a year later after release as it used to be very bad but i hear the game still has stutters so i’ll probably just watch the cutscenes on youtube. a shame because i remember it having incredible potential but stuttering is worse than low fps for me
It's cheaper to try it with Game Pass so that you won't lose a lot of money if you didn't like it. It seems that it's a lot better on consoles. Additionally, you'll have some more games with this subscription.
@@CtrlAlexDelmy options are pc or ps5 so for ps5 id have to buy the game again probably used for cheaper. do you know if the pc or ps5 version is generally better?
@@crispsaregood The devs have patched the ps5 version and included a performance mode aiming for stable 60fps, while PC cannot generally guarantee that for every machine, so if I had a ps5, I'd play there. EA Play is available there, as well, so you could save money using it and not regretting the purchase if you don't like the game.
As someone who just finished this game in 2024 for the first time its worth it finished it in less than 2 weeks great game. Good story & good combat really enjoyed it. Good game only issue is navigation other than that good game
i have a laptop with a 4080, i9 13900hx, 16gbs of ram, and it gets pretty good frame rate at max rtx/graphics at 2560x1600 stays above 60 for sure, but it loves to stutter/freeze. it is definitely not optimized, i play it on gamepass, locally installed. its the only game i get stutters in on this device.
indeed! I've seen in Digital Foundry's commentary somewhere, that somehow Respawn managed to leave these stutters inside the game so that they would exist regardless of the hardware. And that's kinda unfortunate, as I really liked the game as is.

Ive just started playing Fallen Order on ps5, i originally picked up Survivor first but, then found out both games are a complete story.. I wasnt happy with just watching a short Recap So... but Im loving FO so far.. Its a good challenge.. My only complaint is that chests just contain ponchos or saber cosmetics, not actual weapon upgrades or tools.. its lame, but otherwise.. Its great
The chests sometimes contain health and mana upgrades (as far as I remember), though yeah, they're mostly cosmetics. For me personally, it was worth it because I hate when cosmetics are being locked behind paywall

I been havin so much fun on outlaws but I really wana hop back into survivors also, I just got annoyed af with the going in circles tryna figure out where to go then I just quit 😂😂
I bet that even the steam deck would be able to handle the game if it was optimized at all. Truth be told Survivor isn't too far removed from Fallen Order graphically and the steam deck handled the first very well at high settings. So it isn't too crazy to think the deck would be able to handle Survivor at low or medium settings. rtx excluded of course. It's honestly a huge missed opportunity

Its because Respawn is the developer and EA was the producer and publications. If EA developed this game in house it likely would have been loaded with microtransactions!
Has this game not come out with the full Battle Arena from Fallen order or better ?. -Is there a good mod yet ?., I have been waiting VERY patiently. If it never makes it in the game will never buy this despite all the extras.
Yeah, that's a neat feature that Survivor could've included. Especially if they had the same for Fallen Order, meaning there's a lot less work to incorporate.
@CtrlAlexDel that mode is so much better modded on PC. Have a fight with like 100 + units if you want very challenging and kept that game alive for me to this day.
This game is so good. It took everything from Fallen Order and improved upon it. I can't wait for the next game.

game is amazing, only issue is screen tearing in the open areas of koboh other than that it's amazing on ps5!

Navigation and map are confusing sometimes, true, but it's a problem of almost all metroid-style games

A gaming laptop’s mobile cpu and gpu is significantly worse than a desktop

You have to feel pretty stupid to have spent 3000 on a pc and have every game released be a buggy crash ridden mess.
I love this Game, but is Unplayable for me... Crashes and 10-20min Rams are Full = Crash... And i have a Good PC :(
