I've been curious, but my only hesitation has been about the trucks(I've worked so hard for my crook groove and smith kingpin). That being said, if it works for Ishod, I'm sure I'll be just fine lol

Just got my first one. Haven't gripped it and thrown it together yet. I have a local shop deck I need to shred first. Super excited to check it out the twin tail though.
Good stuff. One of the dudes I talk to at my local has an ishod twin tail and it's very interesting that's for sure. I also agree that doing a new setup is probably the optimal way to get everything to feel just right.
The one with the cars on it? I like that ishod skates double nose I always buy his decks if I get a real
too funny.. I was born in dec 81 (yea im really old) and I remember "double tails" being "the next big thing" developing from the flat-nose-fishtail style decks for a minute.. obviously they got replaced by decks shaped with a "proper" nose and tail like we've seen in the last 30 or so years..
edit: I'm German and without internet it took a while since changes in shapes etc traveled over the big pond from the US over here, so in retrospective I think we must've been 5 years late or something like that
My favorite shape is a old school Mark Heintzman ketchup bottle deck. Skateboards have two ends.

Ngl... I always thought all boards were symmetrical.
I know if it was me, I'd go buy just some new bushings for my trucks. Because I always ride my board forwards and mostly turn backside, the bushings are more worn on one side, so when I ride the board backwards, it wants to pull me frontside. This could be a similar issue for you if the trucks don't quite feel right going both ways. New bushings is certainly cheaper than new trucks to fix the problem haha
Good thinking, I’ve never had a need to replace bushings before so this never occurred to me. Might grab some new ones!

Yeah for sure, I forgot to mention this. I skated with a looser front truck for a while myself and I see the appeal, back truck tighter for stability and front looser for turning. I think a twin tail would only benefit you if you like both trucks the same tightness.

@@itspigeonthief well shoot so like ive always skated revive boards because thats like my go to up at koncrete city because our old store cosmics isnt here any more and the hardware always has two silver two black or two different colored screws so that you can mark which end you want to be the nose so that when you ride normal and wear it down over time youll be able to tell so i wonder why they do that if the normal board is symetrical then why use markers to see which end is the nose now ive always been more of a longboard guy becasue the only good skate park is ollies and its usally packed so ive never been too big of a fan of it and the regular like city skate park always has druggies so trick riding has always just been like a secondary thing for me so imuse to long boards and cruise boards having like distinguishable tails (other than my two land yachts) so im use to riding with a tail but all my normal skateboards have always been symetrical and ive always needed to use those different colored hardware so i know what side im grinding down more when doing tricks
Regular boards aren’t symmetrical. Normal popsicle boards like the Revive boards you skate have a nose and a tail. The nose is taller than the tail and usually longer too, sometimes even wider or pointier depending on the shape. You can’t choose which side is the nose or the tail it’s already determined by the shape. This means the boards you skate aren’t symmetrical as the nose and the tail have different measurements, even if it’s not by much. Symmetrical, twin tail, twin nose or twin tip boards are less common and will be advertised as such so you know it’s the same on both ends!

@@itspigeonthief I just read into revive boards they don't have as pronounced tail and nose because it's easier for street riding where you might have to ride switch more often I guess with only riding revive I've never been able to tell the difference and I don't skate anything else so I've never noticed them having a distinct tail and nose
