I think people are really gonna underestimating the role banes are gonna play in gm’s this time. A drain bane knight in the final light blade room would be cheeks
We'll see, because we already memorized the positions of these spawns, so we can just spawn trap the enemies with consecration. However, I'm open to the possibility of them making gms harder, mainly because I want it.
Regarding the Revision Zero overcharge thing, this applies to all weapons with an intrinsic breaker type. If your weapon has intrinsic anti-barrier, overload, etc the anti-champ artifact perks won't overcharge that weapon, you have to match the surge as you mentioned. I wish Bungie would change this as it doesn't make sense, but it is what it is.
Hey Tizzle, Great weapon suggestion! I have one important recommendation to help alleviate the pain of scouts taking forever to bring down shields. For everyone doing Grandmasters, make sure to equip a scout rifle with the Under/Over perk from Zavala-specifically, the Nameless Midnight. This enhanced version deals 155% damage to PvE combatants behind shields and 55% to barriers and elemental shields. With this setup, you shouldn't have any issues breaking through all shielded combatants and barriers. The Sleeper perk definitely deserves more attention!
I dont know when they snuck it in but if you haven't tried touch of malice this season try it. They further reduced the self damage to almost non existent. Works well as an anti barrier, and the blight bomb gives great light and dark transcendence
I highly recommend Hung Jury with enhanced kinetic tremors and explosive payload this season for barrier champions. Using this with anarchy, getaway -artist bleak watcher, facet of command and solitude gives you several sources of passive damage, Damage reduction via solitude and reloads all your weapons every 4 seconds when your stasis turret is out. I have been doing master lost sectors at a minus 32 delta with great success this season with this set up.
For practicality, my Mountain tops always have auto loading+Vorpal. Bad Juju is great for utility builds. Supers all the time, good add clear, and still is reasonably good vs yellow bars.
I really enjoy a Tiz video that is simply unscripted conversation about something over your scripted content. There's an down tick to your voice in tightly scripted stuff that isn't there in videos like this one. So much easier to listen to for 17 min. Not a rude comment but an honest observation from a regular viewer.
Don't know if it got mentioned but collective obligation is insane with mask of the quiet one. As long as you keep reproccing devour, which isn't hard with mask, you'll keep auto loading collective. Run it with mono void and suppressor nades and you've got infinite crowd control. I know it's a stasis and arc season mostly but void titan has crazy utility and the artifact does have some void perks
Little reminder that arby and wishender are still great against barrier champs :) Personally still prefer radiant with a heavy weapon of choice (based on GM and/or build I'm running) to burn through the shield and HP bar, but either way ability-heavy gameplay that we've seen since TFS release has made most people forget about those 2 weapons haha
it’s probably not gonna be that good anymore since this season is more based on stasis void and arc i definitely miss that season just seeing everything explode
Use vorpal on scouts not kinetic tremors, re patron on lost causes. 20% extra damage helps anti barrier break shields 🛡 quicker. Also scouts with armor piercing rounds ideally with an easy to proc damage perk. I like using, with my void build, Aisha's from trials with AP & Vorpal. Patrons is a great kinetic option as well. Randy's is a beast! You need under- over, adaptive munitions, & AP rounds. Don't sleep on scouts just move methodically through. Others can work if you are factoring in matching your elemental build, artifact synergies, etc. as mentioned in vid.
Hey tizz, what would you think of going back to the champion armor mods? Could still have champ mods on the artifact so if you use a weapon from the artifact you dont have to use a mod slot, but still gives you the flexibility to use whatever weapons you want amd not be completely beholden to the artifact
@itzTizzle please make more videos/content where you show us maybe like 10 weapons from your vault with unique roll and the shaders and mode you have on them! I never considered the impulse amplifier/varplor roll on mountain top. Make it a weely series please 😢 dope video.
A couple anti barrier recommendations. I use Randy’s throwing knife with under over and adaptive munitions. Also been using the prophet from trials with demo/headstone when using my stasis builds. The Randy’s is insane though with double shield damaging perks.
If adaptive munitions or APR allowed for critical hits through barrier shields, that would at least be something. But right now it's just pathetic. Ironically, I've had great luck with Chaperone and Duality against barrier champs. They have juuuuuuuuust enough range to puncture barriers with relative safety. Otherwise I just use Arbalest.
strangely liking Chappy a lot for Barrier. pleasantly surprised to be whipping it out in PvE after the Roadborn buff! :) still miffed about Conditional though, moreso for the lack of overcharge. just sucks
Hey, you freakin' D2 stud, wondering if you have any opinion on the new Trials hand cannon and the Rocket Launcher and how they compare to some of the weapons they are similar to? I have heard they are really good but have not tried them out yet. (Probably a horrible idea for a video, because I am old a f and see things like this as something I would love to see, a video on your failures, missteps, like an "oops" track, letting us know that you are human and not always so dang perfect and flawless? I think it may be good, especially if you make it in a humorous way. Maybe?) Love the skill and info you share with us; this old man appreciates you a bunch young man!!
Honestly.... just run consencration titan. only weapon you need are transcendense generating (radiant for barrier shackle nade for unstop tractor/cold steel impulse nade for overloads) and either tractor parasite izanagi or eager edge, we are in an ability meta anyway
does your revision zero not break when you activate the sniper mode? When I've used it this season it won't shoot, deactivate hunter's trace, or reload(its full ammo anyways) and doesnt fix until i die or swap off of it.
as always overloads are biggest not working joke, grenades, not that much damage, next since we dont have boss mod, now replace one4all with vorpal on lost signal, if craftable doesnt have vorpal use frenzy, for antibarrier aisha with vorpal, doom of chelchis vorpal+frenzy, more rpm scout is better. explosive payload can be but vorpal will be better 20% vs 15% body and 9% head, you still get 15% from frenzy and 100 reload. do not forget about void reload mod so you will get 0.85 reload time multiplier that pushes reload over 100%. submachines are joke, they dont even stun overload before you are dead, honestly stasis turret works best for overload today. next subs are max 20m range, most 15, and 30+ you do half damage. and subs dont have explosive payload for overloads. rely on jolt is also stupid

Yeah, the banes are somewhat great difficulty addition to the GM's. They need to shutdown , destiny really wants you to use stasis!
Most of the banes are fine, but the drain one is hugely overtuned and can brick a solo-run if it spawns in a bad location.

the blight ball gives BOTH?
@@DanYami i imagine its coded as kinetic damage despite blinding targets
Kinetic damage fills both meters, didn't know that ToM self damage was reduced again
Revision about to put in a ton of work. Vorpal DMT isn't horrible but the two burst on Revision hits so hard.
Have they fixed the ADS issue w/ the two burst?
I’m liking duality on barrier knights - two hipfires to break the shield and then one slug to the face has been nuking them on master.
Duality is anti barrier??

At 2030 you will be only 20 under light. They talked about this change with the launch of the final shape
Basically the enemies will be 2050
Pretty sure gm is 2030 and you are capped at 2010
