With how good heavy GL's are I really am liking running Euphony more, I can just dump all my GL shots and then go to running Euphony on strand for more total damage OR run a cascade GL and combine the two in a rotation.
Different rolls for different situations (also chill inhibitor can get env+BnS as well). env is better for more sustained rotations while cascade is better for burst or more niche rotations that can consistently reload gun quickly (RoF, impetus shurikens, etc.). Also different elements, stasis doesn't have many great rotation options while arc has a few. So, keeping a bitter/sweet with good roll is still useful.
In terms of a 1-1 comparison between bitter sweet & inhibitor inhibitor is better. Rapid fire frames are better then adaptives but have for the longest time lacked good perks, but this doesn’t meant bitter sweet is bad, it’s better then edge transit right now because envious assassin is broken. For an example in something with surges, I would rather use bitter sweet over chill inhibitor if there’s an arc surge and no stasis surge. TLDR: Inhibitor is better but they are both still very good .
@@XxXxXKEIFERXxXxX Explosive light is a large buff to gls (roughly 50% iirc). But you only get it for 7 shots. Amazing for burst dps, but falls off for sustained dps even compared to something consistent like frenzy.
Hey, thanks for the "tierlist" if we can call it like that do you think the new exotic gl can replace mountaintop since it allows the player to bump himself?
Function focus was a good decision. I found that doing harder content made me think in terms of function much more than anything else. P.S. kind of niche, but is riskrunner not on the shopping list? Still seems somewhat relevant wherever it can consistently proc.
You're welcome to disagree, but I think you're sleeping on Icebreaker a bit. IMHO, (and maybe it's because I'm just cracked out of my mind with snipers) but I genuinely believe Icebreaker is one of the best ad clear weapons in the game. When I can land back to back headshots on red bars in a raid or GM, I'll usually clear them faster than I could with even sunshot. Not to mention, I think it's optimal in envious arsenal DPS rotations. Realistically, I'm only shooting 1 shot from my other weapons, because most of my dps comes from the GL anyway. However, it does the most damage per 1 shot (outside izi) of any special ammo sniper. Plus, you get the added bonus that it's hyper ammo efficient with double special. I, personally, have been steam rolling with icebreaker + rocket sidearm on prismatic titan.
i will like to have you know, my perfect paradox is not only relvant on melee builds! i am consistently the highest dpsing person in my warlord's ruin runs (unless my friend is a titan with hazardous and grand overture)! and i'm not even running a melee focused build as a warlock!
@@TheAegisRelic I ain't no Titan main, but if you're using actium with GO for dps in warlord, there's clearly a reason why I might even pass you in damage. Usually with my friend who runs what I listed (GO with hazardous) he pulls ahead by a Mil, however he's gotta get both his rockets and the volley ready, alongside any orbs he needs for surges, and his super. I just need my super and orbs
Afaik, sticky grenades has no effect on blast radius/impact damage. But merely delays the explosion if shot at the ground. It should have no effect w/ EL (I believe hynra showed that it does actually work with full court which is neat for pvp).
Why isn't FTTC listed for your lucky pants hand cannons? Is it because of the change to lucky pants? Is it now best to stop and reload before hitting max stacks?
one of my first drops for chill inhibitor was ea/b&s. didn't know it was rare until i saw weight-gate stuff. i don't like my masterwork, magazine, or barrel and it feels so sluggish.
what are your thoughts on Last Word now that the bugged damage has been retained as a buff? (according to the patch notes). fairly certain it's better than wardens law for lucky pants now
Yep, better than warden's. Check his damage sheet. Swap tab has relevant lucky pants entries. Only closely beaten by eriana's + warden's law pre-stacking the lucky pants buff. It does require a dodge or quick reload though (impetus shuriken for example).
i'm sort of new to the game so i'm sorry if this sounds stupid but why is choir of one only low priority? i thought it would be medium atleast because the ads mode can do ad clear like a machine gun with infinite ammo because of special finisher and it has a hipfire mode that can do burst dps so you have 2 roles on 1 weapon. it's also special ammo so you can generate heavy ammo with it.
Going for a demo attrition orbs Baton. 138 runs over two days. 11 drops of the gl itself. None of them being it. It's a 6% drops chance I don't know who cursed me with rng so bad it's over double the average for two to drop, but I will find you, and I will hurt you
gunpowder gamble seems to not be working with facet of ruin right now..? idk if it's a bug or a flaw with how i was testing it but just wanted to tell someone whos smarter than me so maybe it'd get looked at in the future
If I need to run an exotic heavy, what are some recommendations you have to fill out my kinetic and energy slot? Like strand rocket sidearm with an energy primary? Or is double special the play?
Depends on content/build. During contest dungeon I ran zauoli's with an area denial gl (mostly to build transendence). But plenty of gm speedruns will run double rocket sidearm since they are good for transcendence and still pretty ammo efficient. During most other content I can run consecration with ergo sum + until its return/the call and have 0 ammo issues. If your build is ability focused, double special is still great. If it's weapon focused (like many prismatic warlock builds for example) you probably would consider a primary.
What makes chill inhibitor better than other gls like edge transit, just the faster fire rate and deeper reserves? Also what perks are you looking for on it?
Rapid fires have slightly better dps. Main thing for chill inhibitor vs. edge transit is envious arsenal is way more generally applicable than assassin. Too many ways for assassin to lose its stack before going into a damage phase compared to arsenal proccing on every rotation. 5/5 roll: Quick launch, spike (use backup mag to get 8 in the mag), envious arsenal, BnS, Handling MW. Can replace arsenal with cascade point for burst dps (EL also great for burst dps) and more niche rotations with good reload options (RoF, impetus, etc.).
You were saying its quite niche to run a primary kinetic weapon yet you highly reccomend the new breach grenade launcher from the new dungeon. What weapon would you reccomend used in the kinetic slot paired with said grenade launcher (or something like aberrant)
The Call/Tinasha's Mastery are both valid options for that slot. Rocket sidearms even post-nerf have enough ammo for most things that have rally flags.
@SpiderReviver So double special is still totally viable? I thought Aegis mentioned in the vid that it was a little more difficult with the reserve nerfs.
@@qualityqontent337it is more difficult, but that doesn’t mean not viable, just compared to what it used to be it’s more difficult. Double special has always been viable just run special finisher and scav mods, and if you have a dps phase just swap loadouts
@@qualityqontent337 Highly dependent on build & situation. I use consecration titan with stuff like ergo sum & until its return (or the call) and never run into ammo problems even over long activities like gms. However, if you rely more on weapons, sidearm reserve nerf hurts a lot. It's no longer an easy always viable choice, but much more situational depending on activity & loadout.
How would Lumina fit into this list especially since you had the healing auto rifle on there? Would it be suitable as an alternative, or is it not worth the exotic slot over other options?
I think it's an alright alternative. Hard to argue for the exotic slot since it only gives 35% empowering buff (which is effectively 8% buff over radiant). But, it still has it's use. Still good for speedrunners (especially for lumina grappling) and for general dps situations for an extra damage boost. Would mainly use it when you need a small dps boost and neutral game/survivability isn't an issue.
have you tested bitter/sweet with the artifact mods vs chill inhibitor. I know that chill inhibitor is better right now i was just wondering how bitter/sweet did with the artifact mods
iirc rapid-fire have ~10% better dps. Artifact mod "Conductive Cosmic Crystal" is a 10% boost to damage (with tonic). So, bitter/sweet should be pretty much equivalent to chill inhibitor if you keep enemy stasis debuffed.
While I know the nerf to lp was targeted towards boss dps, it pains me to see it's viability into gm level content or even legendary lost sectors be hurt. Before the chnages you could at least kill one champion in one lp activation with a god roll wardens law. Nowdays I have to stun them twice to finish them off and the little viability other hand cannons had with the exception of burst frame and malfeacense plumeted to the ground. I guess it's just the primary dps exotic now
i personally think bitter/sweet is flat out better than chill inhibitor in terms of dps i dont understand the hype i personally think a few adaptives are better than chill inhibitor... envious arsenal cascade point bitter/sweet paired with cloudstrike is nuts since both are arc and you can skip the reload animation.
It’s the archetype that makes it statistically better. Everything always just depends on paring combo. Bitter/Sweet really does fill the hole Arc had in the heavy GL category. VS Chill Inhibitor also filled the hole Stasis had in the heavy GL category. Then the truth of the matter is that it doesn’t matter because all people are doing is min/maxing when regardless you can 1-2 phase most everything without optimizing and only a couple times out of a hundred would it make a difference.
I know he thought about it in the past, but didn't really want to rank 192 possible combinations. It could be worth to list maybe top 3-5 rolls on each class since that would be a less arduous process.
Farming for a god roll chill Inhibitor should be easy and wont take that much time i'm sure of it

@@TheAegisRelic This was my initial findings. The numbers were against the Nessus lost sector major. Ignore the 50 blast radius, I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything funny going on with the 100 blast radius given with EL.
Edge el sticky 50 blast
77306 + 1111 = 78,417
Edge el spike 50 blast
59466 + 8328 = 67,794
Edge bs sp 50 blast
43386 + 16998 = 60,384
Normal edge st
43386 + 1744 = 45,130
Normal edge sp
33374 + 13076 = 46,450
Interesting! Will take a look later
I confirmed it on Calus:
40BR edge transit: 28,703+10,967 = 39,670
50BR sticky edge transit: 38,181+1,535 = 39,716
EL edge transit: 52,333+6,515 = 58,848
EL sticky edge: 68032+978 = 69,010
EL spike wicked sister: 52,333+7,329 = 59,662
results in 17.3% buff over base EL or about 15.7% over spike.
Very small buff at base blast radius, but nothing noticeable over spike.
I also helped Aegis update numbers on Templar, so sticky+EL numbers are in the sheet now (it's VERY good burst on edge transit).
Im shocked choir of one isnt higher in like a special DPS classification or like long DPS phases
Post-nerf it's not as incredible as it used to be
With the quality of these excel sheets, he’s gotta be a finance bro in is other life. Lol
I use a lot of legendary primaries because I'm not quite good enough to run double special in all content, and man, you're too right on the kinetic slot being ass. Headstone and Hatchling are just TERRIBLE in comparison to Incan, Voltshot, and now Jolting Feedback and Destabilizing Rounds too. And they also lack good 3rd column support perks like Heal Clip and Repulsor Brace. Rimestealer just pales in comparison to Heal Clip it's not even close.
That being said, I am a Fatebringer Enjoyer
Buried Bloodline also weakens on hit if you have devour active
I know it is very situational but its there :)
Bungie!!!! put particle deconstruction in the next episode’s artifact, and my life is yours!!
This video blessed me and I haven’t even watched 2 minutes
Thank you Aegis, very cool. I do wanna ask though, are you doing a fragment or aspect tier list anytime soon?
Already did
@TheAegisRelic What about one with post-final-shape updates and the new prismatic fragments and aspects?
Yeah I updated them but didn't make a video haha
i know there is a tier above high, and i know it just thunderlord
For real
thunderlord isn't there because you don't need someone to tell you to get it, it's just that obvious
My new opinion looking pretty fire 🐻🐻 (on a side note, Mr Aegis, what is your opinion on talk tuah 🤔🤔)
Thank you for this man! Could you give an example of where a destab+rep brace velocity baton would be used over an Attrition orbs one?
If you're on Gyrfalcon's or something similar
Hey Boss!
I have a question if you for you mister relic :
Should i use Tractor and dps with a special, or a special with Weakening Gaze and dps with a heavy?
also, thank you for your vids! you're giving me great motivation, and me and my buddys managed to clear our first contest, as well as a couple of cool chalenges like trio flawless raids :D
Tractor is a 30% debuff so they're not really comparable, I would say this season since you have Concussive Reload weaken so readily available it's either that or Tractor
What are your thoughts on the "perk proximity theory"? It is pretty definitive at this point, and specifically makes an Envious/BnS Chill Inhibitor drop nearly impossible.
he thinks it’s really great because most people generally like this
Yeah it's definitely real at this point
@@TheAegisRelic Not to say he's the only one but it weirdly makes me think of older Cammycakes videos when he's gone through a lot of math about how your chances at getting Trials weapons with "ideal perks" were always extremely miserably low and borderline impossible even if you played nonstop for the entire weekend.
@@thealldayspecialand yet some people will unironically complain crafting is a bad decision that “removed the purpose of the game” and is “too casual friendly”
Oh god there's gonna be all that talk about roll combos being bugged/rigged in the comments here too isn't there
A lot of people are thinking the void area denial is gonna have attrition orbs gutted, but imo they put those two perks together VERY VERY on purpose lol
Can’t handle facts?
not even "bugged/rigged" just actually hard evidence that bungies system for perk weighing is flawed and has been for a very long time, we just never looked to hard into it until now
Finally, I don't need to be worried about getting kicked for using meh weapons for dmg in lfgs🎉
With how good heavy GL's are I really am liking running Euphony more, I can just dump all my GL shots and then go to running Euphony on strand for more total damage OR run a cascade GL and combine the two in a rotation.
I completely forgot we were getting another rocket sidearm from iron banner. That means I actually have to go play Iron banner again
YEEESS NEW AEGIS VIDEO
Velocity Baton and not lost signal ur a true chad
I’ve been waiting on this
Chat is an envious b&s bitter sweet better than a cascade b&s chill inhibitor
Different rolls for different situations (also chill inhibitor can get env+BnS as well).
env is better for more sustained rotations while cascade is better for burst or more niche rotations that can consistently reload gun quickly (RoF, impetus shurikens, etc.).
Also different elements, stasis doesn't have many great rotation options while arc has a few. So, keeping a bitter/sweet with good roll is still useful.
@@SpiderReviver I have that roll of bittersweet and have envious explosive light chill inhibitor. Would like to know this as well lol?
@@SpiderReviver yeah was bummed out I was so close lol.
Again awesome video ❤
Dang all this build up for icebreaker just to be a nostalgia niche pick at best
Are the column 3 and 4 perks tied together? Or is any combination of those perks considered a good role
Not any combination, but those are the notable perks in both columns
Hey, thanks for the "tierlist" if we can call it like that do you think the new exotic gl can replace mountaintop since it allows the player to bump himself?
Yeah if you don't have ammo it's good
Function focus was a good decision. I found that doing harder content made me think in terms of function much more than anything else.
P.S. kind of niche, but is riskrunner not on the shopping list? Still seems somewhat relevant wherever it can consistently proc.
Also I think it would be good to have an exotic primary kinetic slot ranking.
I mean there sort of is one in the video but it's just like four
will you do a video on the perk combination issues bud?
Probably not I don't have anything meaningful to contribute to the discussion
I'll try it out more over the coming weeks!

Bro doesn’t understand how strong envious arsenal bait and switch is on tomorrows answer
I was the only person I knew advocating for Tomorrow's Answer as the best rocket in the game when its perk pool was revealed in the API :)
God damn Excel wizards 😂❤
what do you recommend having in the kinetic slot alongside velocity baton? it seems like kinetic primaries are pretty low priority so i wasnt sure
Really activity or build-dependent
i will like to have you know, my perfect paradox is not only relvant on melee builds! i am consistently the highest dpsing person in my warlord's ruin runs (unless my friend is a titan with hazardous and grand overture)! and i'm not even running a melee focused build as a warlock!
If you're outdamaging a GO with Actium/whatever on a special weapon I think the person on the heavy weapon may be doing something incorrectly
@TheAegisRelic I'm sorry, actium/whatever???
@@forgottenprincechara5356 Actium or Hazardous or SES/Eternal or whatever armor the titan is on
@@TheAegisRelic I ain't no Titan main, but if you're using actium with GO for dps in warlord, there's clearly a reason why I might even pass you in damage. Usually with my friend who runs what I listed (GO with hazardous) he pulls ahead by a Mil, however he's gotta get both his rockets and the volley ready, alongside any orbs he needs for surges, and his super. I just need my super and orbs
Have you tested sticky grenade with explosive light?
Afaik, sticky grenades has no effect on blast radius/impact damage. But merely delays the explosion if shot at the ground.
It should have no effect w/ EL (I believe hynra showed that it does actually work with full court which is neat for pvp).
Can you suggest a good setup for pure boss DPS? Specifically for Corrupted Puppeteer?
Just got a velocity baton with demo and attrition orbs today and its an orb waterfall
where did you talk about that exotic special thing you mentioned at 18:35? i remeber it slightly but im forgetting when you talke about it
Just occasionally I mention it in other videos, I probably talk about it in the most recent double special video

Oh Aegis Mine
Why are the colors inverted? Messed with my head for a second there haha

Why isn't FTTC listed for your lucky pants hand cannons? Is it because of the change to lucky pants? Is it now best to stop and reload before hitting max stacks?
26 mag is full LP dump, can reach w/o FTTC
Banger
Why would I want chill inhibitor or velocity baton when I could just get boots instead?
True
one of my first drops for chill inhibitor was ea/b&s. didn't know it was rare until i saw weight-gate stuff. i don't like my masterwork, magazine, or barrel and it feels so sluggish.
what are your thoughts on Last Word now that the bugged damage has been retained as a buff?
It's a great choice for neutral play just not a top priority for endgame content
Going for a demo attrition orbs Baton. 138 runs over two days. 11 drops of the gl itself. None of them being it. It's a 6% drops chance
I don't know who cursed me with rng so bad it's over double the average for two to drop, but I will find you, and I will hurt you
gunpowder gamble seems to not be working with facet of ruin right now..? idk if it's a bug or a flaw with how i was testing it but just wanted to tell someone whos smarter than me so maybe it'd get looked at in the future
Hey is there a way I can get your wish list link for Dim somewhere? Thanks
There's some people in my Discord server that have made one
hey, so is the last word still damage viable with lucky pants? they said they kept the accidental damage increase in pve right?
Yeah, will make rotations soon
Is there a list of the top weapons for each type? I need to clean my vault
Yeah same spreadsheet

Yeah I'll do build videos at some point, not soon though
You were saying its quite niche to run a primary kinetic weapon yet you highly reccomend the new breach grenade launcher from the new dungeon. What weapon would you reccomend used in the kinetic slot paired with said grenade launcher (or something like aberrant)
The Call/Tinasha's Mastery are both valid options for that slot.
Rocket sidearms even post-nerf have enough ammo for most things that have rally flags.
@SpiderReviver So double special is still totally viable? I thought Aegis mentioned in the vid that it was a little more difficult with the reserve nerfs.
A shotgun for damage or mountaintop. Maybe rocket side arm if Titan
Lumina lost a lot of value post-No Hesitation release but it's still useful in some cases (like when you don't have a Well)
Can’t wait to ego LFG’s with facts that aren’t mine.
For column 2 on Ergo Sum, why don't you put in good sword frames? I'm sure some are better than others
Sure
have you tested bitter/sweet with the artifact mods vs chill inhibitor. I know that chill inhibitor is better right now i was just wondering how bitter/sweet did with the artifact mods
iirc rapid-fire have ~10% better dps.
Artifact mod "Conductive Cosmic Crystal" is a 10% boost to damage (with tonic). So, bitter/sweet should be pretty much equivalent to chill inhibitor if you keep enemy stasis debuffed.
nothing gives me a rager like a baller spreadsheet
While I know the nerf to lp was targeted towards boss dps, it pains me to see it's viability into gm level content or even legendary lost sectors be hurt. Before the chnages you could at least kill one champion in one lp activation with a god roll wardens law. Nowdays I have to stun them twice to finish them off and the little viability other hand cannons had with the exception of burst frame and malfeacense plumeted to the ground. I guess it's just the primary dps exotic now
It looks like 225 HCs are still going to even stronger than before
FINALLY BRO
i personally think bitter/sweet is flat out better than chill inhibitor in terms of dps i dont understand the hype i personally think a few adaptives are better than chill inhibitor... envious arsenal cascade point bitter/sweet paired with cloudstrike is nuts since both are arc and you can skip the reload animation.
Aegis, would it be possible to add desired exotic class item rolls to your spreadsheet?
I know he thought about it in the past, but didn't really want to rank 192 possible combinations.
It could be worth to list maybe top 3-5 rolls on each class since that would be a less arduous process.
Yeah I might do like a best of
