Just love watching the two of you. Makes the end of the weekend go down a little easier. So happy that you both will be spending Christmas with Carlos' parents. You will have such a wonderful time together. Again, hope that Arne is feeling much better. Arne and Carlos was founded in 2001.
I would like to learn knitting 101. I think it's amazing that your country taught knitting to all kids! These skills are very important.
Never too late to learn!
It is Thanksgiving here in the States so I don't have to go to work Wednesday-Sunday. Guess who is having an Arne and Carlos marathon? Me.
Me too!
Me too from the US. Enjoying every one!
I've been doing that, too!
Enjoy!
You are thé most talented people i Èver saw so beatyful you help me to recover
Continued good recovery!
Thank you its very true once I started knitted them I can't stop
😊
I remember. We got the book for our store, which was still running. In 2015, we had to close after 42 years in business - due to 3 years in red numbers. Was very sad. But Mom retail stores are having hard times with the internet. I‘m sure, if we would have made it through 2019, we probably would have to close now.
So, sharing your podcasts is for me like being in a friends house, knitting together, and having fun and great conversations! Thank you for what you do!!
Thank you for the Christmas balls patterns, I am now knitting the boy and girl holding hands ball but replacing the girl with a boy for my son and his partners Christmas tree they will love it!
Thank you for sharing this ❤

How very lovely - I have been thinking of something similar for my grandchildren, twin girls and a grandson 💚 I have bad health so would love to make some of these for them in the future.💚
Will be doing these this year with a snow decorated tree and wooden decorations, cant wait to start.
Great tutorial, love the tip about decreasing when 2 stitches are each different colors! -Mary

Each year I make things for my sister.. one year was a stocking advent, last year was mini sweaters/hats/stockings and this year will be as many of these as I can knit.
So nice, thank you. 😊❤️❤️
thank you so much ! I have found your videos about a month or so ago and I had wanted to try 2 stranded knitting. I purchased your book and I am now up to 6 Christmas balls done! they are easy and I love to knit them up. I have been knitting for about 20 years or so.
We are glad you liked it!
Thank you for sharing your Christmas works. The balls are beautiful.
Oh God, so beautiful, I love the way you guys knit.
Wow, that is so beautiful... I should try it
Thank you!
I just made the Robin ball!!! Your directions are wonderful. This is my first time to knit a heist as ball, knit a small circumference in the round and first time using a chart, I just steam pressed it and will post photos on Instagram for the contest when I’m done. Wow. So cool
.
These balls are fabulous. But I think even if I sat beside yoiu guys I wouldn't this hard to master 🙈 I'll just have to get brave and make a start 💚❤💚
Be brave!
Thank you Arne!!! I just learned a new trick :) Knitting in the back of the loop when decreasing, so your colored stitch still shows! When I design my own patterns I always struggle with decreases and try to do it "between" the pattern stitchesI LOVE your channel!!!
Thank you!
Here I am in July 2021 and loving my self made “Christmas in July” with Arne & Carlos! I love that linen cloth from one of your visits to Lofoten! Carlos, I like to collect kitchen linens, too. Happy vacation, gentlemen.
Happy vacation Audrey!
Every time I watch you guys I learn more and more. Being that I am a new knitter (6mo.) I think this would be so much fun and a great way to lean colorwork. I am watching your 2020 Christmas ball creations and loving them. Thanks, stay well and safe.
Very cool, love it so much!
You guys are my favorite you tubers ♡ I've been following you since 2020 and I love discovering these old videos. Keep it up please you Christmas balls have become one of my favorite Christmas traditions ♡♡
I just finished my first Christmas ball ornament. It was really fun and easy to do. Yes, they are addictive. I have decided to do one every week.
I finally knit one last night and your video was a great help. LOVE these!!!!
Congratulations!
This tutorial is so helpful. Thank you so much for providing this. I can’t wait to get the patterns started. You two are wonderful
Grazie a voi ho impararato grazie siete bravissimi
Thank you I loved this video I've had on my list to learn how to do colourwork. You both gave a lot of excellent tips and of course you always make it look soooo easy! I will keep going until it is easy for me too thank you ❣
I have your book. The difficult part to me is the decreasing and increasing with the fairisle pattern. I love the steam hint you gave and how to stuff the ball. Merry Christmas
Thank you for your reply . . .it makes me happy that you share your home with us. 😊
You are welcome!
I am a knitting newbie. And I was excited to see that this is for beginners. But then I watched you make it with all those needles! I have never done that and that looks impossible at best! They are beautiful though maybe in a few years I can tackle something like that 🎄🧶🤩
Merry Christmas Blessings to you both ✨🎄
Using the double-pointed needles does feel a little weird at first, but it looks more difficult than it really is. You are using each needle in sequence. The other needles are just hanging out, waiting their turns. I actually prefer the DPNS to circular needles.
I figured it out Thanks for the beautiful ornaments
I can see that they ARE addictive! So fun, I don’t want to stop, lol! I can finish one in a fairly short time, so they are also almost instant gratification! I have the new Advent Calendar, so am looking forward to the 2020 KAL!
My twin and I have so enjoyed you two. We love your home and enjoy that you share it all with us! Merry Christmas from Kansas in the USA. Blessings to you both this unusual year of 2020 with masks, distancing and playing safe.

ARNE & CARLOS Thank you very much for responding to my comment. No, I haven’t made a Christmas ball. I'm knitting my "Christmas balls" to hang outside. So, I am making a fairly dense fabric, the empty balls weigh 13 to 15 grams. Knitting clear silver lined beads on some. Really looking forward to the December podcasts!
So are we!
Fabulous!!! Absolutely fabulous ♥
That's a good tip with the steam and towel.
I really enjoyed watching your video, love you both Have a lovely time, enjoy the holidays 😘🎄💖⛄🤗
I love your books! Thanks for this fantastic video - some lovely tips. Merry Christmas!

Hello, I will try to do, with your explanation seems easy. Thanks.
You are welcome!
Bravo.Thank you very much!
Hi there! Thanks soooooooooo much for this gorgeous Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I See what I made wrong. Happy X- Mas
Perfect!
Thank you!
Well, that’s a handy tip…knit through the back. I usually just try a few things until it looks good. Now I know what to do! 😂
The picture seems to be a 2 white beetle (circa 1968?) with a bit of red something. Perhaps it’s a Christmas tree on the roof of the car or a chocolate Santa Claus from the first floor of the gingerbread house. ❤
Merry Christmas! God Jul!
Merry Christmas!
amazing sweaters this episode
Thank you Justine!
Ha ha your little dog is pawing you, my cat does that to me when I'm trying to knit too
As the japanese say Kawaii !!!....I love this idea and what a great way to practice fair isle. I was practicing doing hats and now my grandma's dolls all have many hats ( few fair isle) ...now maybe I should do this intstead because it is smaller and make it easier to get used to working on tension...
Anyway very cute and hopefully when I am done with current projects I can practice far isle again and have some Christmas gifts next year.... :)
So cute :)
Thank you the balls are gorgeous. Merry Xmas.🌲
You are welcome!
