This is our first tutorial and of course we had to make on how to knit a Christmas ball. Christmas balls are what we became must known for and are still doing, we design new ones every Christmas and even have mini Christmas balls.

I love you both! I just bought your pattern for 24 Christmas balls from your website and I bought the Norwegian wool too. I can’t wait to try my hand at this. I’m pretty sure I can learn stranded knitting. Thanks so much for a wonderful set of patterns and for your inspirational videos to learn new things. I like to learn something new every day. I've been knitting balls and they definitely are very addictive. So far they are plain - one colour. It is time for me to try a pattern from your book. Thank you. I love small simple projects.
haha.........when I came to Cape Town in 21 july 1991, South Africa, I was in shock too , they have decoration in shops christmas staff....... and stay here 30 years more I'm surprises each year when this happen......... original I'm from Poland....... so Happy Christmas in july...... hugs, Ursa

I have fun watching both of you! My mother has a neighbor who has a Christmas tree in EVERY room of her house including the bathrooms! Her house is amazing with so many decorations.
I love this video, I’ve watched it so many times already, and have slowed down several parts when I was learning how to make the balls. And I will probably watch it 100 more times! I LOVE CHRISTMAS BALLS! 2020 was my first time making the balls and doing colorwork. Your patterns are so enjoyable and easy to understand. Hi Arne, hello Carlos. I have you Christmas balls book and I got you advent to knit the balls last year.. I never plucked up enough courage to start a Christmas ball, do not know why lol. However, after I knit the Easter eggs from your patterns this year, I feel as if I could now manage a tiny Christmas ball, they are vey cute, I love them all. I should have taken Carlos seriously! I have started knitting more Christmas balls after seeing this rerun and I can't stop. My other knitting have been put aside because I finish one Christmas ball and I cast on another one! Its a sickness at this point. My husband laughs at me but he says that I am getting better at making them so that's nice to hear. Again, I will always taken Carlos seriously when he issues any future warnings!.

The Christmas balls are gorgeous! I am trying not to think too much about making one, because it would end up on my Future Projects List.
Christmas in July! I had to check the calendar when the 24th & 25th were. It will be in the middle of the annual [Maiden Name] Sister Road Trip. Sister and I will be driving (10hours for her, 7 hours for me) to Holland, Michigan. Her daughter is working in the town for the next several months. Niece is the main reason for the trip. But there are lots to do in Holland, and sssooooo many lighthouses to visit.
I haven’t celebrated Christmas with Sister for a long time.

@@ARNECARLOS Yes, shes 9 now and we've been doing it for the past 5 years. I tried to teach her to knit... maybe this year her fingers can learn the motions.. I think the Norweigen Knit will be easiest. I'm left handed and I knit left handed - shes not LOL. Maybe I should teach her to crochet first? LOL.....

I love Christmas in July theme. I saw one of your Christmas balls with Norwegian words and thought that would be a great theme for the balls sometime, to have words related to Christmas as the decoration. Just a thought (because I only know a few words in Norwegian). Enjoy your lovely holiday!

Those are beautiful and I loved watching you make one! I have one of your books. It’s a duplicate stitch though and I struggle with duplicate stitch. So maybe there is another book or pattern pack out there that is knitted like is this video? I will read through you notes.

Arne and Carlos, I wanted to try knitting christmas balls this year. Being in the US 3.0mm needles have been difficult to find. Having knitted so many of them yourselves, which do you feel would work better 2.75mm or 3.25mm?

Good afternoon Arne and Carlos. I bought the 2023 advent ball pattern. I have a question. On the charts it doesn't have anything indicating inc/dec. I am following both the written and the chart. It is very confusing when it comes to an inc and there is 2 colors involved. Can you please do a tutorial explaning using the chart with the written, pretty please. Can someone please explain to me what they mean by "twisting" when working the colours? I'm confused by what that means. I've tried knitting my first ball and it's tight in some areas, it's my first time doing colour work so I think maybe my problem has something to do with the "twisting" they mention, but I don't know what it is!

Oh gosh I am one amazing woman who is controlling herself with difficulty I am determined not to write what I am thinking just use your imagination and I want you to Know that I blame my intermittent fasting as it does wonders for the brain it wasn't nearly so fast with the double entendre last year.
