FYI, you can activate/map the Turbo button in the web configurator. I play on PS5 so I changed my Turbo button into Touchpad button for training mode on SF6. Also, for anyone interested in using Kailh Choc V2 switches, you will need the V2 pads. The V1s are good as NihongoGamer mentions, but they are only compatible with Gateron switches, whilst the V2 controllers are compatible with both Gateron and Kailh low profile switches.
Another big upgrade of the V2 is that they're supossed to also be compatible with Kailh switches (I think Kailh v2, there isn't much info around) instead of only Gaterons like the V1. Big selling point if you're used to nice Kailh v2 switches, like Haute's Wind Engines or the Lofree series.
I picked up a standard v2 thanks to your first review of the DOIO controllers and it's perfect after swapping out the stock Gateron switches for Kailh.
I've been going through the different brands lately. Tried Haute42, Tikitaka, Doio etc. I even started with the higher end controllers like Paradise Arcade and Junkfood. I've noticed that you really get what you pay for with these things. The new brands really cut a lot of corners to keep cost down and it feels like it once you get one in your hands. Imo, the single best leverless controller is the mPress Nano for a few reasons. Highly recommend.
Regarding the button caps going INTO the frame when fully pressed upon: have you tried using silicone o-rings to mitigate this problem? Just put one of these bad boys on the cap and viola. Theres a bunch of them for keyboard users (like 1mm, 1.5mm etc) and you can get them in any hardware store too, costs pennies. Having to do that on a premium devise sure sucks though, but maybe it would help?
Whats good NihongoGamer, did you think about reviewing the Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition? I was wondering if its design improved much. Can you play Tekken 8 & SF6 on it? I've been watching you since your review of the HORI RAP V [Switch]. Keep it up with the authentic content!
have an old qanba carbon that i never could get used to the lever on, recently ordered DOIO's hitbox mini v1 (was on sale and v2 seemed to just add buttons and size i don't want) hope it does me well!
Just buy a Haute42 (with a pass through authentication dongle if playing on PS5), you’ll be happier. If you want something REALLY compact then MPress Nanos are really nice, though a bit on the clacky/loud side.
I believe these are good controllers for the price . I don't know about the durability but you never know until it's broken ahah Also i believe these reviews are nice and useful but all of them probably got the same logic board , similar quality switches and use Rabersperry Pi to operate the input . So i doubt you will find hugeee differences beetween them . Some will have a different plastic on top a better firmware but that's it.
Im glad im not the only one waiting for southpaw versions of these all button arcade controllers (im personally wanting the computer button layout one in southpaw style)

Great info thanks!
You use a adapter to play in ps5

Haven't seen this channel in a long time 😊
Welcome back~
@@NihongoGamer why thank you
Why is the video you refered to not in the description? The one where you talk about all the leverless controllers that use the same board?

I really want one of these. I wanna try the split layout.

Waiting for someone to review the compact version.

if you could put artwork on these I would be 100% sold.
i may get this for a backup to my snackbox
are the v2 versions hot swappable or not ?
Can you turn off the button rgb and keep the base rgb on?
These are the same LEDs

What is the size of keycaps? Does anyone know?
Isn't the Pro V2 PS5 compatible out of the box too?
No. It will require a dongle like the Booter 5 or Brook Wingman (plugged into the onboard EXT port).
I 3d printed a southpaw leverless controller and now I really want an affordable manufactured one.
Edit, found one based on the pi chip.
Most of them based on Pi chips because they need it to run GP 2040-CE firmware. Pi chips are also faster than anything else by a hair
