7mm-08, a great hunting cartridge! I show loads, bullets and powder that I use. How is it to the 6.5 Creedmoor?
Update note: In the video I say that it is easy to make 7mm-08 brass from .308, and one cannot make 6.5 Creedmoor brass from anything else. I mis-spoke, one can make 6.5 Creedmoor brass, but it is much more complicated than making 7mm-08 brass.

Great cartridge. IMR 4350 great powder for the ‘08 but slower velocities. Varget is my “go to” in my 7-08 loads. Thanks for video.

My #1 deer rifle is a BLR light in 7mm-08 running a Hornady CX 139g bullet at the Varget high end charge. It's a great option to run for modern accuracy. It dumps deer as well as any .308 offering.

I hunt very little, but a Remington Model 7 in 7-08 is the only rifle I've used for deer in the last 20 years. It's light, short, and handy, but if I top off the magazine it tends to bind.

Both of my son's have 7mm-08 mossberg patriot. My oldest shoots the 139 gr. Interlock btsp and my youngest shoots 120 gr. Pro hunter. Both excellent for whitetail

The Social Regressive channel did an in-depth 7mm-08 build years ago.. After everything, he did complain a little about the recoil..I see you mentioned it a few times yourself..Is it approaching 308 levels?

With heavier bullets, approaching .308, with 120gr bullets, much less. Stay safe!

I need to find a new powder, was using H414 had Barnes 120 grain ttsx doing 3050 but they quit making H414. Any suggestions ?

Great Cartridge, I used IMR 4064 139gr Hornady and 140gr Speer Grand Slam. 2863fps with Hornady bullet

We have been running 41 grs of RL15 behind the TSX/TTSX for many years on everything including moose and black bear, not brown bears.
