      Adam hope the recovery is going good. I’ll hit 5 years in September from an opiate addiction of about 15 years. Hope you’ve kept fighting. It’s amazing what your body can overcome if you treat it right. Since then I’ve lost about 100 pounds and now have a very healthy lifestyle when it comes to diet and exercise. Best thing you can do is to just get started. Yoga is a great way to get going and helped/healed me tremendously.

    I'm 44. Ever since I was about 13 I have had what seem to be breasts. I was picked on and bullied because my chest resembled a woman's chest. I had to go to counseling as kid because of how badly it made me feel. I have lost weight before (I got down to 200 pounds) and the breasts were flatter, but still there. It has had a profound effect on my confidence level and my feeling like a man. When I talk to women I catch them looking at my chest instead of looking me in the eye. It's so demoralizing. I have a 12 year old son and he has the same problem already! I want to lose weight and most importantly lose these breasts. I'm a healthcare worker and help people live longer, but I can't seem to help myself. Even if you don't pick me, any help would be appreciated.

      Hey brother I’m 37 and had the same issue growing up and going into my adulthood despite lifting and being pretty active…thing is I had true gyno so I did the surgery at 30 and that’s the only thing that truly made a difference along with continuing to lift along with adding cardio(I do jump rope) at the end of my workouts to help reduce body fat.

      Hey I can totally relate with you. Before I was doing intermittent fasting, keto, and at least a few pushups daily I felt like I was going to be stuck in that place the rest of my life. Please check out dr.bergs UA-cam channel! He can definitely help you with your health goals. Intermittent fasting and healthy keto help you feel and look so much better.

      try 20 push ups today, try 200 in a month.

      @@dailyoutdoors5529 what you eat has a lot to do with it combined with how often you eat. We should fast an average of 16-18hrs daily. Its all about getting our insulin levels right. Calories in vs calories out is BS.

    I've always been the big guy I'm ready to get in shape and show off my size more. I'm 335 lb on the scale but most people think I'm about 260lbs when they look at me. But my first goal is to get down to the 200's by my 30th birthday in April. 💪🏽

    I'm a disabled veteran that can no longer exercise due to my medical conditions. While in the military I exercised all the time, I had 6% body fat. Now 16 years later, I'm at roughly 30% body fat. I do the best that I can to stay out of my wheelchair and eat healthy. Earlier in my life I was a martial artist and athlete. I just want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and see the man I know I am, instead of feeling like I'm trapped in a useless body... that's my reason for wanting help

      Pardon me for asking, but aside from I guess not being ambulant, how do your medical conditions limit you from exercising even in the wheelchair? Have you worked with Physical Therapists for general wheelchair exercises?
      I'm genuinely asking as I'm curious (I'm a Physical Therapist but not in the U.S.)

      @@db4419 i have multiple injuries and conditions that prevent me from doing much, such as nerve damage all throughout my spine and hips, spinal stenosis,, my shoulders pop out of socket, no cartilage in either of my knees, 0 movement in my right ankle, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia... just a little of what's going on

      @@discipleoftheking2407 you have alot going on, I appreciate you sharing. What are the prospects for you getting some Physical Therapy going through your Veterans Administration system? Or any kind of long-term special needs exercise service? (If you were in Savannah, GA I'd be able to tell you about such an exercise program...)

      @@db4419 I've been through plenty of PT sessions/programs over the years. The one that seems to work the best is aquatic therapy but after I get out of the pool I can't move for 3-4 days and require bed rest. Unfortunately I can't complete any sort of program with that kind of consistency, which is the downside

      @@discipleoftheking2407 I think you already familiar with physical exercises and they can bring one only so far. I think you should try real Yoga (energy practices and stuff, not gymnastics) and chigong, including casting away mental parasites, stuff like that.

    Dr. Mike I have been watching your content since Road to BodyPowerUK some 5years ago and I, can surely say that I have seen your progress over the years. I have been working out since 2005 and in the last 5 years I tried to increase my intensity and routine but I have been struggling with my health and weight.     Hey fam, my name is Stevenson Joseph I’ve been trying to lose weight, especially in the chest & love Handel area but just can’t seam to lose fat there. I’ve been great progress overall with losing weight based on me weighing in from 221lbs to 210lbs. I’ve been weight training 6 days a week with intensity and motivation however I need further assistance in my dietary and overall knowledge so that I can become the best version of me.     I want coaching simply because I’ve been working out on and off since 2012 during my “off” times never strayed to far but with that being said I feel like from 2012 to now I’m no where near where I should be.       @@SeanChambersVXR So my training The majority of the time when I started in 2012 came from a few home programs like p90x and insanity then followed by mostly just running and body weighted exercises after that it is only until the last 6 to 8 months that I started lifting weights with a friend but when it came to lifting weights I had no idea what I was doing so I do what he tells me so right now my training is high volume a lot of reps and sets and no my meal plan it’s not written down. Sorry for the long response. Fitness convos are lengthy

    0:07 You can clearly see the fat loss not only in the stomach region but on both arms as well
    indicating that there was a significant reduction in the overall body fat percentage.

      the most tricky part of reducing chest fat is youll lose the upper muscle as well and ull look more like a skinny dude with huge belly.

    I’m 48 and have a host of medical conditions ranging from a neurological condition affecting balance to diabetes and high blood pressure. Yoga has helped but I feel working with a coach would take things to a new level for me and provide the results I crave. There’s so much I want to do to giveback my my community.     I am starting to model and I was injured back in 2018 having 4 rotator cuff surgeries in two years. I am trying to get back to where I used to be at 210 lbs or at least 200.

    I think everybody can use support! In my case, recently recovering from back surgery and have gained some weight. I was never in great shape but now I am much heavier than I’d like to be. Took the initiative to make a difference and I’m just finding myself working out without any real guidance. Can’t afford a trainer and it’s difficult to navigate the gym because I am blind. Shortly turning 39, I want to be in the best shape of my life by the time I’m 40

    Loving the content and keeping it real Dr Mike 🤙🏼 I am 6 weeks into an 8 weeks recovery from fracturing my right tibia due to a sport injury playing rugby before Christmas.     I've tried to get shredded so many times I lost count. I've been lifting for 6 years and developed some good muscle but I still haven't ever made a transformation I was proud of... I've entered transformation challenges but the plans were too vague and weren't setup for me specifically. I want 2021 to be my year- I hope you can help me out!     I've been working on this for a while now but I get in to a certain point in which I feel like there is no progress, and with the world situation the gyms are closed in my country (Dominican Republic), so I struggling to find the work out routines that really help me build muscle and burn fat.

    I served 6yrs in military, worked for 4 years after service in Health care to sadly have to give it up to tend to parents.I've been care taker of ppl for all of my adult life. Now having to move in after dad passed to take care of mother i finally found time to take care of me.I'm 55, if i could get even just an open line of communication as oppose to being a finalist for this challenge. I would call that a win for me.

    I see that you have had an amazing response to your invitation. I salute you for what you have shown and what you are offering so many needy people who are looking for a better them. At close to 68 years old and wanting to develop my back, chest, and stomach might not be seen as a priority. But, some has said that it would help the lower back and hip pain that I contend with daily. That would be my ONLY reason to be considered. I wish you the very Young Man. You are helping many.     Went to my doc for a physical and it turned out I was a bit overweight. When I ask the doctor what I must do to lose weight he told me:
    "Don't eat anything fatty". I asked: "like burgers and bacon?"
    Doctor told me: "No Fatty, don't eat anything"...

    I've been working towards having the body i deserve since summer. I lost 40 pounds and quit alcohol to get this far, but i have a way to go. Overcoming an addiction, daily, and also being consistent, i feel like im rady for anything! and i'd love to make that my dream body, thats for sure. Thank You!

    I would pray to get picked up I am 50 years old, had a car accident in 2011 that caused me to get a neurosurgery to fix my c1 and c2, I had been struggling with my weight for over 30 years with yo - yo effects all the time. And finally, i am currently incarcerated with access only to a rudimentary gym and coulple of hours free to workout. If i dont get picked up I still send you blessings and please keep up the good work.

      @@NFLDRAFT2018 I was also a poor brown Hispanic boy. My parents came to this country looking for the American dream and I was taught to study and be disciplined and work hard and diligent. The only helping hand my dad told me was at the end of my wrist. I made choices and was disciplined to accomplish my success. Everyone has the same opportunity that this “me” poor Hispanic boy has had. Some people would rather stay home and play the PlayStation, and video games, other people decide to read books and get an education and work hard. It’s the choices that you make in your life that determine who you are.

    I'm on this journey in self development and I've decided to get myself into shape. I used to skateboard as my passion and my increased weight makes it difficult to do.     This is a great video. Just started out with a private trainer. I am 54 years old, and staying on the coach is not the best thing getting into shape, these video gives me an idea of how to do this between the training with the private trainer and is a good filler for the exercising that I am giving from the personal trainer. 2021 is the year my life will turn :-) Great videos and well explained!!!

      Hej Hoya...have heard about intermittent fasting with weight training.. I am 50year now and I do intermittent fasting with weight train( muscle mass and less body fat/more energy/healthy sexlife)it allows your body to use the stored fat(subcraneous and visceral fat as energy) .     My little lady says I can never get rid of my man boobs with out a surgery. Would sure love to prove her wrong. I am at a young 48, holding a few extra pounds but would like to turn it into 40 of muscle and a strong chest, biceps and abs. Here we go 2021, give me a shot Dr. Mike.     In April of 2019, I weighed in at 305 lbs. Today, I am 206 lbs. I'm 51 years old and I've accomplished my weight loss with two ingredients, Keto and dedication. I purchased a home gym and work out 5x per week. My goal is simple -- be better today than I was yesterday. I feel, however, despite my research, drive, and discipline I can only go but so far. With the right coaching and mentorship I'm certain to obtain the tools necessary for continued success. I hope that you would consider teaching an old dog new tricks.

    I’m 62 and in fair condition. I have trouble staying motivated. I want to prove to myself that I can still improve my fitness, I just need some direction and structure. I would be a good choice bc it will motivate others in their 50’s and 60’s to embrace trading and fitness improvement.

    Dropping some unwanted fat is what I am looking to do. I have made excellent progress during COVID, and though I weight 205 I am shaped well. My goal is to keep the size I am at while dropping 10lbs. This has been the challenge for me. IF winners have not been picked, I would really like to go into Beast Mode. I have a gym at home, and a perfect mile loop in my neighborhood

    I'm 51 and my upper torso is in good shape, thanks to years of surfing. My belly fat is now at a residual remainder and I'm trying my best to stay disciplined and train my body to use this and not store it. I've just got to be patient.

    I’m a 68 year old veteran who use to workout regularly before the pandemic and since then I contracted Covid-19 which I was sick for two weeks of which I spent 5 days in the hospital. I have lost my energy level and it’s hard catching my breath. Also, in the process of being hospitalized I was informed that I’m having kidney problems and was told to change my eating habits even though I had done so already. I really miss my workouts and I no longer feel good about myself and my appearance. Need that feeling of pride back whenever I look at myself in the mirror.

    I have been looking and following different people to find solutions and take action on it to get better results for my body. i haven't found any good results and i haven't been motivated and consistent since then. I really like watching your videos as your videos are backed by proper research. Getting some tailor made help for me personally would mean a lot and help me kick start my fitness journey in 2021.

    I hope I can get a chance at the 8 week challenge, tried online coaching before but without much success, wondering if there's new techniques I can learn and kick off the new year better. 2020 has been really difficult for me and my family and with the addition of a new baby right in the middle of the chaos.
