Neil Blender is such an underrated GOAT. Dude is a skater's skater. We are so lucky he blessed us w his presence in skateboarding. Thank you Neil. For everything
Grew up skating at the same park Concrete Wave in Anaheim with Neil and the rest of the Concrete Wave locals. A local brand Woodflex was a few of us locals first sponsor including Neil. Even back then we all knew Neil was always looking past all that was happening at the time in how things were done and doing it his way. He was doing his own art even back then which at the time was not common in skateboarding. We never became good friends rather just acquaintances part of a group of kids from Anaheim dreaming on our skateboards. Personally I am honored to have that small connection with Neil, being a part of a small community of skateboarders witnessing him take off and am truly proud of all he has accomplished his way and for all he has done and continues to do for skateboarding. I say support a brand like his, The Heated Wheel he you know is doing it from a real place and still in that real place doing it for the right reasons.
I remember Neil Blender yelling at kids to shut up at Expo 86 who were trying to get his attention by just calling his name over and over. He yelled, “shut up!!” really loudly.
I met Gator once in an elevator in Okaloosa Island/Ft.Walton Beach Florida, he was the Jimi Hendrix of skateboarding w a dark side who was just turning his life around and went on ‘one last time’ coke and sex marathon that went south when she had enough, cost her life and the rest of Gator’s in prison. What a waste he never got to ride all the rad parks all over the world now...a smart person learns from their mistakes, a wise person learns from other folks’ mistakes. Vincit Veritas
Dude is living in a trailer yapping about a pity party...he's down on his luck, got on brand x team...blew it...idk what he thinks he deserves but it's looking like he wants the industry to buy him a house or something...still love the dude but geez...kinda sad.
Living legend. Words aren't good enough for Neil. He's to cool to speak❤
That is the first time I've ever seen Blender on camera in over 30 years.

I had a G&S Neil Blender back in 1990!
I had a really shitty beat up Blender board someone gave me because my Rob Roskopp board got stolen by some asshole a couple of grades older than me.
Thank you Neil, you are legendary blender!

Lien is Neil spelled backwards.
His chuckle hahahahahah too great
Sucks Duane Peters might sell that portrait in the background for like a hundred bucks. Why do all his storage locker sales keep popping up?
