Can't really go wrong with Foo Fighters. I recommend The Pretender: great song and great video.
Absolutely love this song. To me it's really underrated for them.
Taylor was a good singer. He sung on a couple of songs. And he would occasionally sing a song live, usually Queen song
Went and saw the Foo Fighters a few months back in a small about 2000 seat arena we were down on the floor about 10 feet from the stage and I have to say the Foo Fighters I have been a fan of for 29 years now and it was my first time to go to a live show, and it was the most amazing show I have ever seen in my life. What the music sounds like that you hear on videosand stuff like that it’s done so well in concert that it sounds exactly the same.

Taylor and Dave used to flip flop on drums, I miss Taylor so much, but his son is literally a spitting image of him and he destroys the drums!
This song rips but man… the drums are just top tier on this song.

Even as a big Foo Fighters fan I cannot say that each member is a favorite of all-time in terms of my favorite guitar player, bassist or singer(Dave Grohl is #1 or #2 favorite when he does drum). However, these guys together know how to play awesome live shows and find that perfect sound balance of loud and distorted while still being catchy. There is no shortage of catchy riffs for days in their catalogue, but if you want stronger lyrics some of their best songs are ones that are actually personal to Dave like Everlong or The Teacher.
PLEASE react to more Foo Fighters! They're my absolute favorite!
Great reaction for "Rope". From the same album, "These Days" is probably my favorite though. A bittersweet anthem, but also a strong reminder to stay focused on and appreciate the present because it won't always be here. The video is even more poignant since Taylor's passing and has taken on even greater meaning because he's still there.

You did know that Dave 🥸 was the drummer for Nirvana right because when you made the remark about them sounding kind of like Soundgarden all those bands came out right at the same time Soundgarden Nirvana Alice In Chains, all of those bands hit right around the same time and knew each other pretty well

Love this song! When the full color strobe lights start in the last half of the video, Dave’s guitar hits the camera causing a, “lightning bolt” across the screen! Always thought this was cool even tho it wasn’t planned! Dave had explained that he didn’t realize the cameraman was so close because of the lights strobing made it a little hard to see! But, they left it in and it’s cool!
Check out Taylor’s solo band “Taylor Hawkins and the Coat Tail Riders” - amazing solo work - Hawk was a hell of a vocalist

Rachael, I'd recommend "February Stars" from the Foo Fighters to react to next month.
They are also a fun LIVE concert band. They bring fans up on stage to play drums or guitars with the band. Heard the slip, calling Taylor Tyler, and was pleased you redeemed yourself later in the reaction. I heard Dave is back on the drums for FF. Any truth to that?
If you think this is heavier than Soundgarden the try Something from Badmotorfinger. Try Rusty Cage or Jessus Crist Pose. Badmotirfinger is a Grunge metal album. Much heavier than Superunknown.

Reason they have that “grunge” sound like Soundgarden is cuz the singer is from Nirvana (the drummer) as I hope you already know .. so there are roots .. also the band started in ‘94-95 after Nirvana disbanded (lead singer unalived himself)
