Wow quite the collection of cars, my favorits are the police car and the Monte carlo, the old bug. My wife and I had a 1977 Pontic Grand Prix I like them bigger cars from back then
The Z28 breaks my heart! Third gen F-bodies often lived hard lives and died tragic deaths. The survivors are finally gaining some collector interest and appreciation.
I like that old Beetle. My Dad had a 55 oval window with the pinafore turn signals and a leprosy paint job lol. He was a minister and used to take me to church in that thing some Sundays. It slowed way down going up the hills, but he loved that car. Before that he had a 55 Merc that he used to cruise the Illinois freeways in at 90mph.
Some words of advice Street rat garage, if I had many more projects than I could get around to I would just sell the projects as is. And if you can't sell the projects as is just part them out or scrap them by cutting them up with a blowtorch!
Great job as always buddy, dosen't take long to accumulator cars and trucks. I had 17 cars just at my shop at one time but I had to down size so now I'm down to 5. Sure am liking that chevelle. Lol keep up the great videos. Your southern Indiana fan. 😊
I understand your sickness, I have it too. 😊😊 i use to be a flipper and owned over 1,000 cars and that was like 20 years ago when i lost my lifetime list. Now i don't even keep track after they are gone. Then i brought a few old cars and i got bitten by the collector bug thanks to my dad's uncle. Most i owned was 112 at one time but that was too much. so in 2001/2002 i had a big selloff and got down to 48 vehicles and built my second shed in 2002 with some of the profits from it. I am back up to around 52-54. 20 are in my back shed that i keep future possible projects in, have 12 in my main shop at the present time all in different stages of being built/fixed and i have 20 in the storage side of my shop that hold the main drivers and then i have the daily drivers parked in my parking lot and have a few part cars hid out back behind the shed but i think in spring i am cutting a few of those ones up. Present time my oldest is a 1909 model t (driver but radiator is starting to leak) and the newest is i believe a 2002. i own at least 1 car from every decade in between that range. . Newest i ever had was a 2018 ford truck fully loaded that i brought at an estate auction when it was around 2 years old but sold it as soon as i got my title back like 6-8 weeks later. Didn't like it and the moisture in the taillight scared me so i dumped it to carmax for a nice profit. Truck was garage kept until i brought it then it sat outside and i noticed the problem. Could have made more selling it to the public but i figure that truck was heading for future electrical issues in the near future so i took a heat gun dried that taillight, took it to carmax and accepted their offer which i thought was decent. Making $5,000 on a truck in less than 2 months that was possibly heading for a $4,000 electrical issue was a no brainer to me.
Non ss 69 Chevy blue Malibu nice one of my favorite years of Chevelle's 68-69 prefer the 69,71-72, and I am actually a fan of the 69-70 71-73 boss 302,429, mach 1,2, and 3 mustangs!!
Don’t scrap the 5.7 hemi. Put in new cam, lifters, and delete the mds. I’ve done this for my 79 Cherokee custom and it runs quite well with new cam and lifters.
I’m from Indiana and just seen your ads on marketplace and it took me to your channel! I need that d150 with the 440 lol I have a C3 that runs I’ll trade ya haha
At times it can be difficult to own your own company that involves something you love. You become attached, and I am this way with tools sadly, cuz man do I have a TON of them lol.
@@streetratgarage Sadly these days they don't want to use them; they want me to build it LOL. If it were up to my daughter, I would be working on her house full time! I can't wait till my grandchildren are older to work in the shop with me :) Maybe I will start a channel ... hmm
Wow that's what I would call a few projects so many it's hard to decide what motor to put in what project I am in no rush to buy a truck till I get my late mother farm in my name hopefully early next year April May but the 400 dollar white Ford F150 you got at gov deals is something like I will be looking for but with no repairs needed being handicap I have a friend Terry with a shop Diamond who fixes my car Who knows if I don't find a good deal online on a truck when you fix that truck I may bid on yours but I would want to see the inside and who know by the time you fix it I could find something on Gov deal but I am not looking hard as I can not start selling all the stuff at the farm till I get the probate done. Again thanks for showing me how to bid here in Indy outside of Shaffer Kessler I got a FBI 1999 Grand Marquis around 2005 only car auction I purchased a car at and had no idea about or how to bid till your channel gave me some knowledge Again Thank coming up on 69 but still learning lol
It's a good thing you don't live close to me because I would like to buy some of those. I like older vehicles and I love trucks and I have an RV just like that mine is a 1980 I think it has less than 75,000 miles on it but the RV part is shot falling apart.
Wow quite the collection of cars, my favorits are the police car and the Monte carlo, the old bug. My wife and I had a 1977 Pontic Grand Prix I like them bigger cars from back then
Always appreciate your transparency and insight
Stop mount light in back, would indicate it's at least a 1986.
Holes in the floor means you can stop like Fred Flintstone.
The Z28 breaks my heart! Third gen F-bodies often lived hard lives and died tragic deaths. The survivors are finally gaining some collector interest and appreciation.
Currently looking for one in better condition on the underside
That red and black vw beetle is a really sharp car. I don't blame you for not driving it much. It is really cool.
Thanks!
In Mass. that Police Car would have just blue lights in the front.
Cudafry, (another video), loves mopars.
World wide headquarters lol
In Canada, the Chevelle/ Malibu was also called a Pontiac Beaumont, a "Poncho".

In the Winter, you should a cold start, like they do on coldwarmotors, (another video), to see who's going to turn over.

If it is what you enjoy, keep it up. Sounds like a good time hunting down the cars you enjoy. I bet you met a lot of great people along. The way,

Keep up the search!
the truck i have that get used the most is a 1988 ford superduty with the 7.3 diesel in it. It is hooked to my trailer 24/7.

That should make some people mad.
@@streetratgaragebut it would be unique.

There is a lot of work that still need to be done on that truck. It is definitely not roadworthy yet.
good video, would like to see you fix up some of the Ford trucks and flip them or use them
Thinking about working on the short bed, F150

Sell the Maverick to Sleeperdude. He'd love to have it.
Yes 6.0LS swap your Monte Carlo so you can get to enjoy it and drive it again...
U never use to see to many 4 door mavericks around here (Maine)

Thanks for watching. And good luck to you.
Put the dodge rv 360 snm with a decent cam in the maverick
See if Cuda Fry wants to buy it, (another video).
Fix it up and go to your auto auctions, if you can't find a hotel, you've got your camper.
Being a hoarder is stressful!
We like to be called collectors of crap.
@@streetratgarage I have the illness too, but not as bad as you!
I like those excursions, are they four-wheel-drive and did you do a video on them?
No video in them. If I keep them I will, but just looking to sell, yes both 4x4
It's a good thing you don't live close to me because I would like to buy some of those.

Do you ever sell the white mini from the auction
Yes, that one sold almost immediately
Hey street rat. Where located at anyway. You have some very sweet rides
Central Indiana
I think that that Monte Carlo is a 1976.
No, it is definitely a 1977. I have owned it for 30 years now.
Were do i buy the cars you see?
I go to a few different auctions. Just watch my videos. I tell you the auctions to go to. Thanks.
You have more projects than you have time 😂😂😅😅
You could probably pay off your Jeep note, (or close to it) just by selling the VW.
100% true.

Ty
How much for the chevy truck you use around the property
I do not have that one up for sale yet. It is almost winter and I feel I will need it soon.
My Company payed for me to go to Yale.
Gotta stop going to the auction and buying cars and get back to fixing them on video. Miss those videos.
Hi kuya hows your tricycle update?
It’s still siting here not doing anything.
Make me an offer
😳 .....😎.... ✌️.
Wassup
Even though you made a deal and said you would buy it. If you got lied to about the engine. You shouldn't buy it
If I say I’m going to do something I alway stick to it. Plus it was just $600.00 I can still use parts.
@streetratgarage true. I am a man of my words too. Often to my own detriment
you have alot of junk laying around....clean up that yard and junk or sell most of them that are just sitting here
Boring
