Love to hear that you're thinking of getting into some pcvr! You probably played it, but I loved Saints and Sinners on PC.
Too bad the Pico 4 removed the link cable. Could have been a great headset.
Makes sense for them though. They don't want their heavily subsidized headset bought by pcvr users who don't buy their games. They would lose money.

Ha, I only play PCVR games... HLA, SkyRim, Fallout 4, now also HL2 and some fitness games. I play beatsaber as well as I have my library with custom songs on my PC (a lot easier than on the Quest). In general I prefer gaming with my PC because there is more details in the pictures. I'm not using airlink, but Virtual Desktop, which by the way will be available for the Pico 4 and is according to Guy Godin better than on the Quest.
Awesome. I much prefer virtual desktop to airlink. For me airlink was really unstable but Virtual desktop was great. Only issue was some games had dodgy control mappings.
I got my Rift S for free and I've been playing Asgard's Wrath mostly along with HL2 and HLA.

i hope game's will be crossplay between meta and pico , would be very bad to separate the community more
So far I'd say there is. They run on the same hardware, same games (mostly) etc. Unless they let servers seperate them on basis of like hardware-ID, I doubt that there's going to be any segregation.

Not a chance xd. All these multi billion dollar companies are desperate to be the first and create their own plattform, it took tripple A companys literal DECADES to realise that crossplay is a good thing.

Order as in eye prescription from opticians, to correct vision, that you would usually wear actual eye glasses for.

On other reviews I saw, there were issues with the link cable and PCVR quality on the Pico 3. It’s a shame that they got rid of the link cable on the Pico 4. I personally won’t by a Pico because it’s owed by Byte Dance but I’m happy for those that do! I use. Y Quest 2 for PCVR. I play HLA 2, Wanderer, Hubris and Kayak right now but there are so many good games that have been modded! Thank you for the review!
For me it was so so good but the lenses do seem to have a really small sweet spot.

You have Hubris? I presume the demo, right? And does it still work? I played it one time, after that I couldn't get it anymore. Two weeks ago I could download it again, but when I wanted to play it was gone again.... now I can't download the demo... strange way of doing things, just a demo for a short time.

Is the pico 3 build quality better than the quest 2. As we all know the sticks on the quest controllers are cheap and nasty.

Seems about the same. I've still not had any issues with my quest controllers though.
Who the hell uses a LINK CABLE with the Quest. Have you not heard of VIRTUAL DESKTOP. I have been using my quest on my PC wirelessly over wifi and I NEVER have ANY issues playing Oculus games, steam games or even just VR games running on my PC by themselves with ZERO latency. Plus using a cable, kind of defeats the BEST feature of the Oculus and others like them and that's them being standalone WIRELESS systems.

@@clingmarbleprod Oh, well still, it defeats the whole purpose of them being wireless. It's just weird to me that people are figuring out a way to make the wired PC VR headsets like the vibe or the rift wireless, while others are making the wireless ones wired. Lol.
