Just finished my payment for my Crystal. I really hope its worth the $2073 CAD price tag........YOUCH!
I know this is a lot, but I think, it is the best experience you can get on consumer level. Pimax CEO was very funny, he said to me, "Crystal Is very cheap, Apple vision pro is way more expensive" :)
The diagonal of the Crystal was the first thing I noticed. I raised that there is a lot of information that you are losing with a similar fov but round headset
100% true, and also with the edge to edge clarity. But Pico did a very good job with the Neo3. Hope they will bring DP back
I can only rely on my German friends when it comes to Pico 3 link reviews :D literally!
Btw how was your experience with pico 3 link and 4090 in simracing
this is very good, Germans and especially Austrians are always telling the truth :D I have not tried the pico with 4090 in simracing but I know that the pico 3 with link is really good. The Displayport is king, hopefully the manufacturers will not forget the Displayport in the future.

Diagonal fov does suffer on n3L, I only really noticed it though after trying dpvr E4.
Very happy with neo 3 link with a custom faceplate (increases fov alot)
I'll have to redo my test with the corrected test hmd.

@@liebesmaennchen you can cut the pins off the AMVR faceplate and use it with nano tape and the pico 3, or you can print one which is my prefered choice as I modded it to fit one of amvr's gasket fans for the quest 2. keeps me nice and cool for prolonged sessions.
Very nice, I think it is great when people build their own stuff to make things better.

Yep, works very well, though I’ve made my own printed gasket to have extra ventilation to stop fogging, little bit of light bleed but my lenses don’t fog any more :-)
By default on the driver the FOV is 93.5 so makes sense why it wouldn't be visible in 94

Kann ich bestätigen, das FOV mit der P3L ist definitiv rund und aus dem Grund, kommt es einen nicht so groß vor.
Beim Spielen vergisst man es schnell wieder.
Nicht zu vergessen ist das Tracking, das funktioniert bei der Poco 3 link sehr gut.
Deswegen Spiele ich mit der Pico 3 lieber als mit meiner HP Reverb G2.

Vielen Dank! Ich bin großer Pico Fan und auch G2 Fan. Die G2 hatte ich länger in Verwendung, werde auch ein Video machen und mal schauen, was sich seit meiner ersten Begegnung mit der G2 verändert hat. Heute werde ich die Pico 4 wieder in Betrieb nehmen, es macht gerade richtig Spaß, die einzelnen Hmd´s zu testen. Was mich wirklich begeistert, ich habe bis jetzt nur positives Feedback bekommen.

Ja ein G2 Vergleich wäre nochmal super.
Das FOV der G2 mit Mod empfinde ich eckiger und dadurch wirkt es größer als das der Pico3 Link.
Tragekomfort der G2 ist ein Traum 👍.
Wenn das Tracking auf Quest Niveau wäre, wäre die G2 mein Hauptheadset.
E2E Klarheit könnte besser sein aber mit dem richtigen sitz auf dem Kopf, kann man nochmal was herausholen damit es nicht so stark auffällt.
G2 habe ich tatsächlich auch noch, kommt dann auch. Mir gefällt die G2 auch sehr und es ist richtig schade, dass es wohl nie eine G3 geben wird

Hi, it has been a while since I used the Pico 3, I never had problems with the scaling. Are you talking about PCVR, standalone or in general?
@@liebesmaennchen pc vr and the display port, in half life Alyx people said that the hands were too big or too small and it caused also warping during game and not just Alyx.
Not that I recall, maybe I will check it sometime, but I really like the Pico 3 cause of the display port ❤️ PCVR forever

@@liebesmaennchen Auflösung/ Klarheit und so sind bestimmt super, aber FOV is eigentlich enttäuschend, daher bin ich gespannt auf die Somnium VR1. Falls die nicht einen Hardcore Preis aufrufen (Lighthouse und Controller braucht man ja extra), verkaufe ich die Crystal wieder und hole mir das Ding.
@@archibaldikowski3646 Das schöne am Crystal FoV ist, es ist eher quadratisch und man sieht schon mehr und hat nicht diesen Teleskop-Blick. E2EC ist auch gewaltig, also ich warte hart auf die Wide FoV Linsen, Pimax hat mir versprochen, ich bekomme welche zum Testen. VR-1 steht ganz oben auf meiner Liste, aber da es dort sehr ruhig ist und bis jetzt immer nur Design Einheiten vorgestellt wurden, bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob das so schnell was wird.

@@liebesmaennchen Got it. Thanks. You should get the AMVR gasket for Pico 4 and mount it to Pico 3 . I have it and the comfort is much better and higher fov. I also got some custom drivers wich improves the image. Pico Neo 3 Link is the best PCVR headset for the money imo . Is better than Pico 4 or Quest 3 and Quest Pro.
