The best boat I've ever own was a Fisher Marine with a Johnson 20 hp tiller, a 60/120 flasher, 12/24 Sea Horse foot comtroled trolling motor! I fished it from the East Coast, Chesapeake Bay and its River Systems, to the North, Canada on the Mighty Ottawa River, Rideau Canal onto the Texas Gulf Coast and everything in between! Should've never sold it! Tiller Boats are the most versatile boat you can buy!
Awesome boat man. I have the same boat in the shadow edition. They're fun. I have a 2022. Consider yourself lucky for how quick you got the boat. I put my order in with my dealer the first week of July 2021. Didn't take delivery of my boat until 4th of July weekend 2022.... Well worth the wait though. Enjoy!
You have good tastes! Holy cow, it took a year to get your boat?? 😵💫 I guess I should count my blessings, but yeah it's been a blast, can't wait to get it back out again.
Bought the same boat in 2020 only with a 90 Yamaha SHO. Mercury should be a good motor at least you didn’t get a Rotax/Evinrude. The cost difference between the 1750 and 1850 cost was minimal. So I jumped up to the 1850 too. Big wide open roomy boat and rides the rough water well. It should serve you well.
That rigs bad to the bone dude. You might have not mentioned it or I missed it, but it would be a good idea to add a toolbox, spare big motor prop and trolling motor prop. I've only broke 2 trolling motor props so far haha.
Good job! Everyone around here cut they're teeth on a tiller jon boat. ... And one good thing about sitting in the back, you don't eat all the bugs of those sitting up front. 🙂
Sweet rig man! I have a white 185 tiller all vinyl with Yami. Make sure you lock the sliding drawers when trailering or your drastic plastics will be road side litter. Also the non locking compartments sometimes blow open while trailering. I added a Drotto boat latch on mine, makes solo launching and loading much easier. what is your top speed and min. trolling speed?
Thanks for tips Freddy! I haven't had any issues with things sliding or popping open yet. I've been eyeing a drotto myself actually. I think I got it up 36? Haven't really payed too much attention to it yet but I'll test her out next outing. Haven't tried slow trolling yet but I'll see.
The power queen battery is exactly the same as the li time battery. I mean, exactly the same bms and cells everything. I have a power queen in my ice fishing shack. I'm gonna put a 100ah power queen in my lund 1650 for my trolling motor. 12v trolling motor in my boat.
Beautiful boat bro. Let me ask you, like yourself, I'm heavy into fishing and not into carpeting. I'm looking at a new Lund right now. How have you liked the straight vinyl flooring? Does it get slick? Hot to the feet? I ask because my wife will be with me much of the time. I worry for her safety as for my own. Thank you, any feedback is appreciated.
Thank you. I'm glad I went with the vinyl, the sides walls are carpeted and you can definitely tell I've had some excited fish in the boat 😅 it's a textured material and doesn't get slick with water and there's plenty of fish that have hit the deck but I never had an issue. It can get pretty warm but rarely so bad that it hurts my feet. If it does get too hot I just slide the sandals back on. Hope this helps!
congrats on getting such nice boat. i want the same one how you order yours, only thing is the price. they are very high on price now. how much did it cost new?
How do you like the all vinyl flooring. Did you find it slippery, to hot? Would you do it again? looking at the same boat. Tring to decide on all vinyl. Thanks
I really like the vinyl, it has a pretty rough texture so I never had any issues with it being slippery. Didn't really find out getting too hot much, if it did I would just dip my feet in the water or wear some slippers. I would def do it all over again, don't have to worry about carpet getting dirty or trapping sand. Thanks for watching!
Exactly! No freaking carpets! All the boats where i live has carpet and hardly no one wants them because want we fish and want to have an easy wash down and not deal with nasty slimy carpets/damaged carpets from treble hooks

Wow sounds like you really put that thing to use!
I know this is an older video, but your style is what made me subscribe. Just a really good, concise telling, of the facts for this sled. ~ Best
Appreciate it, thanks!
Looks even nicer in person. Congrats on the new boat!
Need to get you out there

congrats on getting such nice boat. i want the same one how you order yours, only thing is the price. they are very high on price now.
how much did it cost new?
Yeah it wasn't the cheapest boat but it came to 42 smackaroos, it's been a good time though.
Don’t forget the portable propane and a box of thai mama noodle in your storage box
That sounds amazing on the water!
Very nice boat
thanks abe!
