"Aim for the bushes" is the most outta pocket line considering the situation i ever saw in a movie. Laughed so hard, tears in my eyes. Just waiting for a moment that never came.
Yeah even his early movie roles were mainly comedic which is funny cause when he was cast as batman people were upset about mr.mom being cast as batman
About the why Michael Keaton's character makes many references to TLC, the director had said: "We were trying to write phrases for the captain that were tough-guy euphemisms," McKay said. "We had a draft where he said all this crazy stuff and out of that I started to say, 'Don't go chasing waterfalls,' and everyone started laughing. Then we called it back two more times, and then Keaton was doing them so well, we added more." "We came up with a whole backstory that he drove his son to college and his son played a TLC greatest-hits CD the whole time but the captain was never aware what he was listening to," he added. "We knew at least 35 percent of the audience would have no idea who TLC is, but we were like, It's too funny!' "
Finally! Dos Cavazos has done The Other Guys! A classic comedy film! Keep going with your content. As well as, give Kacee a look at classic comedies she hasn't seen.
this movie is quoted by me and my bros on an almost daily basis. the tuna and lion scene had our jaws on the floor, its too fucking funny. as will ferral says after that speech "that go the way you thought it was gonna go?"
I never watched this in theaters, but I was in 8th grade at the time it came out. Very fond memory as I watched it at my friend's house. We were laughing hysterically throughout the whole thing. I'll never forget it lmao I consider it to be such an underrated movie that doesn't get brought up too often when it comes to great comedies of the 2010s The funniest part for me is probably the whole interaction between Eva Mendes, Mark Wahlberg, and Will Ferrell. Heavily quotable film
Getting the wooden gun back stained and polished is such an underrated part of this movie. That's so disrespectful and thoughtful at the same time 😂. "We know you're a loser cop with a wooden gun but we'll make it pretty for you"
Or maybe it was the Brazilian lady showing her affection to Allen by making his gun all nice. Is there a better way to show a man that you like him then to polish his wood?
I was working at Bed Bath and Beyond when this came out, and there was a new line of bathmats that had just come out, and my manager was actually named Gene. My face hurt for days from laughing.
*I worked Security for the Vegas scene, at The Flamingo. Of course, that payphone was a prop. They shot for like 4+ hours for that 30 seconds of footage. lol*
“I NEED AN MRI, I NEED AN MRI! I HAVE SOFT TISSUE DAMAGE, THERE’S NO WAY I DON’T HAVE SOFT TISSUE DAMAGE! I JUST WANNA GO SOMEWHERE AND BREAST FEED RIGHT NOW!!” I remember showing my mom (who was a nurse) that scene and she couldn’t stop laughing.🤣🤣🤣 This movie is CRIMINALLY underrated.😉 I honestly don’t know how this movie isn’t mentioned or referenced as Anchorman. Especially the fact that Will Ferrell keeps getting pounced on by insanely gorgeous women even though he looks like the plainest man in the world.
One of those favorites that I've lost count on the rewatches and can recite the whole script (including the 'Pimps Don't Cry' song and the end credit joke at the restaurant). I'm surprised it hasn't appeared that much in UA-cam reactions.
End of Watch for another buddy cop movie but, it’s not a comedy. Also, Mark and Will have amazing chemistry! They’re really good in Daddy’s Home as well! (I think there’s 2 of those movies)
First time watching this movie I had a moment where I silence laughed for a solid straight 2 mins cause I laughed so hard at all the funny bits in the movie
Absolutely love this movie. Me and my lady went to see this randomly a week or 2 after it came out and we laughed our asses off. I know you all did THE BOYS so if you notice the "Pimps don't cry" is what inspired "Chimps don't cry" the song Crimson Countess Sings season 3 episode 2 of the Boys. 🤣 it's a salute to this movie and it makes it even better. Jah bless 💪👑
You should check out the movie The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCartney. Super funny and buddy cop movie in that movie as well, just as good as this in my opinion. New subscribed. Great reaction video 👍
Anthony is right, this movie is a hidden gem. The Other Guys is the most underrated comedy movie in the last 15 years in my opinion. You have to watch it 3 times to get all the quotable lines to use with friends and coworkers. Like, "HEY! You get back here and make love to my wife!!!" Don't forget the whole lion vs a school of tuna debate! That's just pure comedy GOLD.
Such a funny movie and such a funny reaction. I love that you guys have been doing buddy-cop movies. One of my favorite genres too. Someday I hope you both react to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) if you haven't seen it yet. Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr are phenomenally hilarious in it as a dysfunctional pair of "investigators" trying to solve a noir-ish LA murder mystery.
I'm just going to assume he wasn't serious about the realism of the chase scene I love this movies sense of humor, it pack so many goofy little things into every scene. So many good jokes and running gags. And Mark Wahlberg's delivery of "IT'S A BAD TIME BOB" and "DAMNIT BOB" live in my memory forever
I love you guys. You're awesome. Everytime I wanna go down the movie rabbit hole and rewatch some golden oldies I check your channel and you're usually making a vid about a great classic. Taste is impeccable guys.
Love Eva Mendes but the actress playing Christinith is Natalie Zea from TV series: La Brea, Justified, The Following, The Detour, Under the Dome, Hung & others 😊
When they respond to the scene to talk down a jumper and in the middle of it, Will Farrell says, 'Oh, look. He's flying.' We kept yelling: 'Aim for the bushes!' Lol. This film is a buried comedic masterpiece.
I used to have a Prius. I had to have the rear bumper replaced after backing into a car at 4 MPH... I'm pretty sure the frame would fall off during the drifting scenes.
It took me ten years but I just realized that the stain and polish on the wooden gun wasn't just some surreal joke, the Portuguese security woman did it out of weird hot lady affection for Allen.

You missed out one T.L.C. Reference that is a sin!
Watch "The Night Comes for Us" or 21 Bridges staring Chadwick Boseman💡👍

"Aim for the bushes" is the most outta pocket line considering the situation i ever saw in a movie. Laughed so hard, tears in my eyes. Just waiting for a moment that never came.
From the Assassins Creed game series.
They were buried near some bushes though.
Even funnier when you consider that there's literally a rope to the ground right by their feet.
THERE GOES MY…(died)😂
When I saw this in the theatre, someone yelled _"WHAT FUCKIN' BUSHES?!"_ Made the scene so much better...
“Aim for the bushes”
Will forever be one of the most iconic lines and one of the most anti-climactic moments of all time. It’s absolutely hilarious
It was so outta pocket, 😂
Or Tuna vs. Lion...
The way Michael Keaton “quiet yells”
gets me every time.
That and how he says "Shake your dicks this pissing contest is over." Or "HE'S DYING!!!"
I love how he pretends to fight through the crowd to stop the fight even though nobody was in his way 😂😂😂😂
Love how the conversation about the lion eating tuna goes completely off the rails 😂 💀
That convo almost killed me the first time I watched the movie. We had to start over because I was losing it for 30 min straight.
That's when I knew I was watching something special. This movie should be celebrated as one of the best comedies ever made. Sooooo random.
Yeah, I vividly remember this scene killing me when I saw the movie in theaters 😂 such a classic
I saw this in theaters, and i could literally see people crying they were laughing so hard.
"Gators bitches better be usin jimmies" is probably my favorite line from the movie lol. I love this movie
Most people don't know Michael Keaton got his start as a stand-up comedian. It really shows in this one. He should do more comedy, he's hilarious.
Yeah even his early movie roles were mainly comedic which is funny cause when he was cast as batman people were upset about mr.mom being cast as batman
Multiplicity
"I'm a peacock, you gotta let me fly!" Favorite quote 😂
Peacocks do fly
they really do , i saw one fly in front of me was terrified , they are huge @@antkemp
Yup - Makes you so exited you're about ready to do a desk pop!
"They fly a little bit"
@@PedroTorres-ky2yx”about as much as a chicken”
Such an underrated movie. Michael Keaton had great comedic timing in here
don't go chasing waterfalls....
Keaton always was so good at comedy, I'm surprised he doesn't do more of it these days.
‘It’s called a soup kitchen’ i wonder how many takes it took for that one liner🤣
Lol that was grotesque and hilarious at the same time lol. I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or recoil in disbelief lol.
About the why Michael Keaton's character makes many references to TLC, the director had said:
"We were trying to write phrases for the captain that were tough-guy euphemisms," McKay said. "We had a draft where he said all this crazy stuff and out of that I started to say, 'Don't go chasing waterfalls,'

"You learned to dance like that sarcastically" Lives rent free in my head.
"There wasn't even an awning in their direction😂."
I love this movie, these two together are hilarious 😂😂😂
The funniest part was Kacee's random snort. Great reaction guys. Keep up the good work.
My husband and I watch this movie at least twice a month! We love to quote it all the time 😂
You and your husband have a relationship I can only strive for😩😂
Hey! Put your dicks away, this pissing contest is over.
This movie was criminally underrated
"He's got that Adam22 energy" bro I died😂
“Oh, look, he’s flying!”🤣
“Gator don’t play no sh*t!” 😂😂😂 iconic!
Honestly one of my favorite movies. Sooo funny. It’s not hiding what it is, and does it super well
That funeral fight was one of the funniest things I'd seen. Still hilarious.
this movie is quoted by me and my bros on an almost daily basis. the tuna and lion scene had our jaws on the floor, its too fucking funny. as will ferral says after that speech "that go the way you thought it was gonna go?"
This is one of the greatest and most underrated comedies ever, in my opinion. I'm so glad you reacted to this one!

"Aim for the bushes! 🤜"
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
My Dad, my brother, and I had barrels of laughs with this movie together!😂

He laughed way too hard at soup kitchen joke😂😂😂
Ya, the laugh. Geesh
*I worked Security for the Vegas scene, at The Flamingo. Of course, that payphone was a prop. They shot for like 4+ hours for that 30 seconds of footage. lol*
lol the way Anthony keeps holding back his laughs for so long. great reaction to a great movie.
I will never forget how hard i laughed at the "aim for the bushes" moment
In the bloopers for this movie, the "aim for the bushes" originally had sam Jackson say "tuck and roll when you land"
I love this movie so many hilarious moments
The writing the whole movie is epic 😂and Kenton’s so good
Such a great movie.
And LOL, the bushes scene was the most epic memorable scene from any action/comedy in years.
Marky Mark and the funky bunch... You just sent some people down a rabbit hole.
I don't think I've ever heard Anthony laugh so hard. I mean I damn near died laughing at every turn 😂😂😂
“I NEED AN MRI, I NEED AN MRI! I HAVE SOFT TISSUE DAMAGE, THERE’S NO WAY I DON’T HAVE SOFT TISSUE DAMAGE! I JUST WANNA GO SOMEWHERE AND BREAST FEED RIGHT NOW!!” I remember showing my mom (who was a nurse) that scene and she couldn’t stop laughing.🤣🤣🤣

I'm already laughing just because you asked if that was Ice T and in my head I responded "No, it's lemonade". I hate/Love that old geico commercial
The whole TLC running joke is so perfect 😂
"YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT! BUT I WANNA HEAR YOU SCREAM!"
Denzel! Fallen and Déjà Vu!
Lmao one of my favorite comedies of all time. Also one of my favorite lines "aim for the bushes". What a great team for comedy Gold.
Aim for the bushes is my go-to line for when I'm about to do something stupid.
Loved your reaction guys ..I laughed out on the floor watching this movie
I think I've seen this at least 10 times and it never gets old.
The part where it's revealed that Will Ferrell was a hardcore pimp always cracks me up.
I saw this movie like 5 times in theaters when I was 14. Love this movie
Michael Keaton is my favorite part of this movie. He's no scrub.
End of Watch for another buddy cop movie but, it’s not a comedy. Also, Mark and Will have amazing chemistry! They’re really good in Daddy’s Home as well! (I think there’s 2 of those movies)
Yep. The second has Gibson
End of Watch is so freaking intense. Had me more on the edge of my seat than Training Day. Phenomenal film, though
First time watching this movie I had a moment where I silence laughed for a solid straight 2 mins cause I laughed so hard at all the funny bits in the movie
I just love it when Michael Keaton yells HE'S DYING at the end it's so him
"Aim for the bushes" is my fav quote too and "America!!" 😂😂😂 seen this movie a bunch of times lol
The soup kitchen part is by far one of the funniest parts of a movie I’ve seen in a long time 😂
Absolutely love this movie. 26:31 Fun fact: Dirty Mike is Adam McKay, the director of the movie
I absolutely love this movie. I thought it was okay the first time, but the second time I watched it I laughed my ass off.
OH LOOK HIS FLYING 🤣
You should check out the movie The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCartney. Super funny and buddy cop movie in that movie as well, just as good as this in my opinion. New subscribed. Great reaction video 👍

7:24 *"How are they gonna live?"*
me: *"that's the neat thing... they don't"* XD
My favorite lines are “My suburban shit on one of these. I didn’t know they put tampons on wheels”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Such a funny movie and such a funny reaction. I love that you guys have been doing buddy-cop movies. One of my favorite genres too. YES! Such a great movie. Good suggestion; I hope they can react to it.
SIUUU. Let the peacock fly.
1 of the greatest comedies of all time
I love how after you hear them hit the cement it goes black and you hear the military style funeral music playing
"You probably think I'm pretty hairy because of the beard.... but *hand movement* shaved." Is my favorite quote that I use all the time!!!
Got to agree,Aim for the bushes is also my favourite line in the film :)
I completely forgot how funny this movie is. My favorite line is "thanks for the F-shack! Love dirty mike and the boys" 😂😂😂
11:59 The Portuguese lady obviously polished his weapon hard to get it to shine like that 12:19
I'm just going to assume he wasn't serious about the realism of the chase scene
I love this movies sense of humor, it pack so many goofy little things into every scene. So many good jokes and running gags. And Mark Wahlberg's delivery of "IT'S A BAD TIME BOB" and "DAMNIT BOB" live in my memory forever
aim for the bushes gets me everytime. it's my temple of doom airplane ride. laughing now just thinking about it.
I love where mother in law were messenger and mark studies dancing, music etc

I love you guys. You're awesome. Everytime I wanna go down the movie rabbit hole and rewatch some golden oldies I check your channel and you're usually making a vid about a great classic. Taste is impeccable guys.
Shoutout Ray Stevenson!! Loved his performance in this and other roles he has had! Ahsoka will be amazing!!
"It's called a soup kitchen" 😂😂😂
I love this movie so much!
Love Eva Mendes but the actress playing Christinith is Natalie Zea from TV series: La Brea, Justified, The Following, The Detour, Under the Dome, Hung & others 😊
This was one of my favorites growing up
this is one of my favorite comedy movies
“I’ve got 6 discs in here” lmao 😂
The Lion/Tuna thing was just hilarious
Keaton stole every scene he was in. The star power in this movie is unmatched for the Comedy genre.
i nearly choked to death on my popcorn in the cinema when they yeeted them selves off that building
My fav. "You learned to dance like that sarcastically?"
One of my all time favorite movie
You guys have to watch The Nice Guys! Such an underrated film!
One of the best comedies ever 😆
I never knew how funny Mark Wahlberg was. This movie is hysterical. It's a joy watching your reactions.
When they respond to the scene to talk down a jumper and in the middle of it, Will Farrell says, 'Oh, look. He's flying.' We kept yelling: 'Aim for the bushes!' Lol. This film is a buried comedic masterpiece.
It’s honestly sad how underrated this movie is
The Unrated Director's Cut is even more outlandish, it has wilder scenes with an extended ending & you missed a scene at the end credits.
Amazingly quotable movie. There are so few reaction videos for this and I have no idea why.
Nice recovery after that anime at 21:14 😂😂😂
She : What is thaat?
He : (silent panic...) "Derek Jeeeteeer, lol lmfao HHaHaa 😅"
