I fully agree that the Dolomites are the most beautiful part of the Alpes. There are more places in that area you just HAVE to visit soon! I just love the beautiful city of Meran and all of the mountains, valleys and villages around. Next is Lake Garda, the biggest and most beautiful lake in Italy. You will find mountains in the north, beaches in the south and beautiful villages all around. Though I am from Northern Germany I call both places my second home because I have been there so many times and they are so incredibly beautiful! ❤️
We love Meran as well. We try to make a holiday-stay there every autumn. The temperatures are nice then, the new wine and roasted maroni (chestnut), bread dumplings and pizza are offered in the restaurants. I highly recommend south tyrol for a visit.
Been there, probably the famous 3 Zinnen area is the favorite part. But there a nice places all over the Alps and the adjourning mountain areas. Living only 50km north of Oberstdorf i also love our part of the Alps like Kleinwalsertal, Lechtal, Tannheimer Tal and so forth.
i'm Swiss, we have beautiful mountains too, but the Dolomite are truly something special! the mountain world brings inner peace, everyone who has the opportunity should travel because these experiences will accompany you for a lifetime. I also love Europe because of the relatively high level of security, the many cultures in a relatively small space and, compared to the USA, the healthy, good food. keep it up, enjoy your life
I am 20 seconds in and can say: No need to be ashamed for the tears. The sights are breathtaking and overwhelming. It is crazy how many amazing landscapes our earth has to offer. BEAUTIFUL !!!!!
OH YES! Went mountainbiking over the alps from Chiemsee to Lago di Garda (Italy) 3 years ago. Man such breathtaking views... you have to be there in person otherwise it is hard to fathom the beauty of the alps. The Dolomites were definitley a highlight on that hard but satisfying trip.
The mountains make me tear up too! I feel so small in this amazing world and blessed to be able take a moment in solitude of appreciation. I grew up spending all my summers on Cape Cod (Atlantic ocean)and then later on the Gulf in Naples, Florida but nothing compares to the mountains. They really speak to my soul. They rejuvenate my body and mind yet humble me. I always say the closer I get to the Alps, the more settled I feel. Thank you for sharing your travels!
Thank you for creating a video on the Dolomites (or nature) that was 95% nature and 5% your beautiful faces. Your going viral“competitors” focus 95% on them and 5% on the nature. Great video.
LOVE the Dolomites! I've been lucky enough to have three visits there, in total eight weeks, exploring and climbing in most of the area. September is a great time to go, and it's true when they say it's on the sunny side of the Alps.
Coming from a flat country (the Netherlands) I love spending time at the mountains. My parents took me for the first time when I was just a couple weeks old baby to the Austrian Alps and since been on so many trips up the mountains. The Alps and Dolomites are wonderful, both in summer and winter. Still on my list of mountain ranges in Europe are the Pyrenees between Spain and France.
@@graeker4286 hehe true with a big part of the country below sea level and the rest only slightly above. Vaalserberg in the south of the country being the highest of the European part at like 322m being a hill that funny enough has berg (mountain) in it's name XD Though the highest Dutch point would be Mount Scenery on the Dutch Caribbean island Saba at 887m while being a potentially active volcano.
I traveled a lot as a child and have very few memories; however, a picture can spark a memory for me. It is wonderful that you will have this video journal so Willa can see her travels and hopefully spark memories for her as well.
Super Video! Wie schön die Natur ist! AlsMensch fühlt sich man sich dort richtig klein! Euer Kind ist so niedlich, man möchte nicht es gleich in den Arm nehmen 😍😍😍
As a child I've been there with mom and dad for 7 times and nowadays I've been there 15 times with my children ... it's a tour of 1000 km. The Dolomites are the most beautiful mountains in the world !!! There must be a reason why Sylvester Stallone shot most of his movie Cliffhanger there and not in the Rockies ... :-)
Congratulations, you really discovered one of the most beautiful places in Europe. I've been there two times and it is really as beautiful as the videos shows or even more.
I am a big fan of the Alps and there are so many great places, I could not even tell which one is most impressive, but the Dolomites are certainly a highlight. Also the Brenta is a beautiful hiking area in Northern Italy (South Tyrol) not far from the Dolomites. However, I am also a fan of the North Sea and the Baltic with its beautiful islands and coast lines. Definetly also worth travelling to as long as the wheather is still warm enough. Further safe and happy travels in and around Germany, there is so much more to see and to discover. I hope many Americans are watching your channel, too. I‘m born in a area high up, bayarian Alps, and in the years i live there, I always think of the sea, mountains, even they are as big as the Dolomiten 3 Zinnen are nothing Spezial to me, I’m bored up there. Left it now for more than 25 years and starting slowly to like it… but the nicest point where I was in my live was Bali , if you wanna go into the sun or Iceland, if you need it more Nordic! I love people who can be touched by nature so much! I know a part of the dolomites too - but only at winter time when I was skiing there. This was really impressing and touching, too - standing on top of the mountains, surrounded by high mountains and snow - I love it :-)
Discovered you guys a couple of weeks ago when you posted from Switzerland (my favorite place to visit, I try to go there each year). Have enjoyed all your adventures. The Dolomites are on my bucket list. Thanks for giving credit where credit is due in this video.
Luckily, the algorithm (occasionally) shows me videos like this: seeing people get excited "just" looking something beautiful still gives me hope. This Sunday starts well thanks to you and your wonderful family.
Awesome video 😍 I have just been on a trip through northern Italy as well. I really enjoyed Trentino-South Tyrol, especially Meran, where you can hike along vineyards, apple orchards and see the Dolomites in the background as well. I also recommend hiking around Monte Baldo/Lago di Garda. The views were incredibly beautiful.
So nice you both and the baby! I'm from the region of the Dolomites which are in Trentino/South Tyrol and also a big part in Veneto, and every time i look to this mauntains i cannot believe how fantastic they are. Thank you for sharing this.

What a gorgeous video! Yes, I’ve been! It’s one of my favourite things about living in Germany- you can drive to the mountains and to the sea, even to other countries. I’m originally from Wales, so I always needed a boat to get to France or Italy. Mind you, I wouldn’t mind a helicopter at the moment, I‘m up and down from Bavaria to the North Sea, at the moment!

Most beautiful part of the Alpes. Went skiing (and during autumn with my grandparents when I was a kid) for years and years and years "around the corner" of Cortina: Colfosco and La Villa @ Alta Badia. Did some climbing @ Tre Cime "Drei Zinnen", too...
@@namenlos40 Please stop that nonsense. South Tyrol is clearly Italy although I agree that it shouldn't be Italy. South Tyrol can't be Austria either. If you're asking me, I'd put South Tyrol straight into Switzerland. That's the only country that can handle the German-speaking, Italian-speaking and Ladin-speaking at the same time. And to be fair, South Tyrol is mainly German that's why a German-speaking country makes much more sense, but nowadays we can't ignore the fact that there's lots of Italian-speaking. And every year there's more of them as you probably noticed. While German-speaking understandably leave the country, Italians are coming to South Tyrol for work reasons and are happy to have a normal job. Comparing to the south or other regions, this is most probably the holy grail to a lot of people when it comes to opportunities and having a working system.
@@multa7053 Italy has always tried to Italianize South Tyrol by expelling the South Tyroleans and settling the Italians. Apparently to this day. So why should they belong to the Swiss Alemanni?

Yes definitely look at the travel guide to help plan. Our trip took place the last weekend in August. You will absolutely love your time there!! Can’t wait for you guys! 😊
Omg so breathtaking! And the shots are so beautiful! Nature is truly amazing... I started travelling with my parents when I was barely one year old, so I don't remember anything but my mom used to make videos from our travels (the quality wasn't as good as it is now 😂) and I love to watch them, I'm sure Willa will as well!
Wow, just getting around to this now 😆. It’s near the Cappella degli Alpini near Tre Cime maps.app.goo.gl/h3vAQzMqK37QdAE29?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy One of our favorite places of the Dolomites!
Some call it God's creation. Some explain it with tectonics and erosion. Either way, the world is beautiful. It is our obligation to preserve the wonders of the earth for our children.

Hey thanks!! You will absolutely love it! This is in our description of our video about that area: “The footage from 0:25-5:16 is all taken at Tre Cime di Lavaredo. If you start at the main hut (Rifugio Auronzo) near the parking area and do the main loop around Tre Cime, you will be walking along the same trail as we did. There's a little church (Cappella degli Alpini) along the trail and almost across from it you will see there's an opening along the fence that leads to a statue. We went near that statue and took a lot of our footage there. :) ENJOY!” 😊
I live in Bolzano, 1hour from every place you visited..I'm glad I was born and raised here. I love our Alps and I go hiking every time I can...therr are so many places to see, you should stay 1 year not 1 week 😊
I guess you would also love the lovely valleys and mountains of the Ticino in Switzerland. Beautiful landscapes and towns/villages. You'll love it there, I'm fairly sure.
I have been there, too. We were on an Archaeology trip from University and visited a lot of small towns and historic sites while admiring the view. What a beautiful part of the world this is. Although I have to say cruising around the alpine serpentines with a large bus was kind of nerve-racking in some parts. xD

Thank you so much! We can’t wait to watch them back with Willa and even her future family!! That’s so special you have the memories! 💛
Take care of your little beautiful wonder !!!
Hi!!!!! Dolomites are one of the most wonderfull places in the world. Where is the viewpoint from 0:01 - 0:06 ? Thank you!!
Wow, just getting around to this now 😆. It’s near the Cappella degli Alpini near Tre Cime

One of our favorite places of the Dolomites!
You can see your enthusiasm
Some call it God's creation. Some explain it with tectonics and erosion. Either way, the world is beautiful. It is our obligation to preserve the wonders of the earth for our children.
100% agree and love this! 💛💛
For me, it is a proof of God's existence, I am always overwhelmed when I see Him through His creation in nature. This cannot just exist out of itself, it is from our maker, the God of heaven..Romans 1,20
@@anniswelt9702 Even a beautiful and impressing landscape is no proof for God‘s existence. Just ask a geologist.
@@harrydehnhardt5092 ask a geologist where sands and stones come from. And out of a bang is really a childish version, and I am not coming out of a monkey family. If you do so, please feel free
@@anniswelt9702 Quite a few (common) misconceptions you're mentioning here, which could be rectified with some reading and learning. But then again: here is not the place for that discussion. Just rest assured that non-religious people can just as well feel appreciation and awe for natural processes and beauty.

Bellissimo video, there are so many places to Explorer..... the dolomites were out secret but in recent years they have become famous ....I suggest San Martino di Castrozza, passo Rolle, passo Sella, Val Gardena. So cute your baby love from italy 🤗

Geirangerfjord is beautiful indeed!
Just wow
Hello! Really great video :). What was the first location your were at in the video? Specifically the location were you teared up. I’m visiting next year. Hoping to add it to my itinerary.
God is good, amen to that ✨💙 Wonderful vlog!!
I really enjoyed your video. ⭐️
Thanks for Sharing! 💕
Greetings from Albania.🇦🇱
Hello to you 👋👋 Thanks for watching!! Tell us what we should do in Albania! We want to go 😊
Amazing… what did you guys used to capture this video?
Fantastic. I am loving it. 😃👍🏻
I’ll be basing myself in Ortesei for 3 days in 2 weeks! Can’t wait!
I live in Bolzano, 1hour from every place you visited..I'm glad I was born and raised here. I love our Alps and I go hiking every time I can...therr are so many places to see, you should stay 1 year not 1 week 😊
Amazing!! After visiting we couldn’t agree more!!
I guess you would also love the lovely valleys and mountains of the Ticino in Switzerland.
Beautiful landscapes and towns/villages.
You'll love it there, I'm fairly sure.
I bet we will! 😍
I have been there, too. We were on an Archaeology trip from University and visited a lot of small towns and historic sites while admiring the view. What a beautiful part of the world this is. Although I have to say cruising around the alpine serpentines with a large bus was kind of nerve-racking in some parts. xD
Mind sharing the date this was filmed at
Not at all! This was the first week of September!
on top of the mountains i feel always like on top of the world. always emtional for me
Love the Dolomites. You simply have to go back and ski Cortina. You won't regret. You got it, God is good.
Great video 👍🏻What time of the year did you visit ? Thank you!
Thank you! We went at the first of September!
Mountain hiking with some clouds below you - next best thing to flying
Agreed!!
Awesome awesome nature 😲😲😲
That'st an amazing journey. Which month was this in? Also, would you recommend Mid-March a good time to experience Dolomites?
This was in August 😊 If you go in March you will definitely see snow! Watch our other dolomite video here to see: ua-cam.com/video/VvdPb6Nua58/v-deo.html It’s beautiful but a different experience!
